The Beginning

So I've had to restart my challenge, after realising I can't add leagues to a FM Touch career. I'm back in the full version mode and I'm ready to start again. So the objective is to win every trophy from every country in the main database. Working my way through them will obviously take some time so stick with me on this and this could be a great career. Dan. set the standard last year so if I can get close to that I'll be happy.

I've decided to start in the lovely country of Belarus. I'm unemployed with no coaching badges and only Sunday League football experience. I'll be hoping to gain my qualifications along the way.

Let's get going then. On to Belarus!

The First Job

Gorodeya

So after months and months of job applications being laughed off and unsuccessful, I suddenly struck gold. A team in the 'Persha Liga' sacked their manager and I immediately declared my interest and applied for the job. They came back the next day and offered me an interview where I promised them everything they wanted and they offered me the role of manager of their beloved club. Who was this club you ask?

Gorodeya

As I said before they sit in the 'Persha Liga' which is just under the top league of Belarus. I'm not too sure why they sacked their manager as they were sitting at the top of the tree. I've inherited a title winning team it seems as there isn't too much left to play in the season so all I have to do is continue their form and take that trophy as my own.

End of Season Update: Gorodeya

The lsat you saw was that I had just been appointed manager of Gorodeya who were leading the way in the 'Persha Liga' which is the second division in Belarus. All I had to do was win my remains games and take the title for myself. A simple task eh?

This is how my remaining fixtures played out:

A lot of wins against some good teams meant that I had done it, enough points to clinch the title that had practically been handed to me on a plate. My attacking tactic worked well scoring on average 2 goals a game in my 10 games in charge. Defines could have been a bit stronger but I had a fair few injuries in that time. Flying winger Alexandr Matyukhevich was the pick of the players for me and chipped in with a lot of goals and MOM performances for me.

So I had done it, my first gig in management, and my first trophy to go with it. Now onto my second season in Belarus. A season to see how we can cope in the top flight of Belarusian football. I'll also get a chance to enter the cup for the first time.
