FM24 Background and Stadium Packs
The Backgrounds Megapack was originally made up of aerial shots of stadiums taken from Google Maps and Google Earth, but is now also containing Competitions, Player and Fan Backgrounds, as well as beautiful City Images.
For now this is FM24 only we are working on FM26.

No not right now. We just made the switch so that stadium also shows as team background, because it was a feature that was being requested.

next time just submit your changes HERE. It works just like the cut out submission page.
Stadiums have to be submitted by their stadium id or stadium name (in this case Sportstadion id=527950)
always use .jpg and resize the image to 1920x1080 for stadium background (if possible an aerial view) or 800x480 for inside stadium.

I'd love for a way to disable this as well. It looks quite bad to have it as a default background on higher resolutions. Doesn't fit with my theme either.
edit: Nevermind, there is literally a menu option that accomplishes this. "Allow display of custom background pictures"

Notice:
The background pack is evolving all the time. This is still a relativ new project so bear with us.
We have experienced problem with different file formats being part of the pack (.png, .jpg, and .jpeg). This meant two things…. 1) there were doublets in the pack taking up unnecessary space on our server. 2) the update process wasn't working properly as the three different file formats dont overwrite each other.
This problem is now solved and all files in the pack are .jpg. You can upload both .jpg and .jpeg but the last will be converted to .jpg on the server.
With this in mind I will encourage everybody to delete what they have and download the full pack again. If you download the torrent you will need to delete the “team_background” folder once you gone through the process of adding all updates as it is no longer part of the pack (config). We only update torrents once a year so it will first be fixed in the fall with the release of FM 2022. Sorry for the inconvenience 👍

We do now have a limit of 50 individual pending submissions and 10 pending pack submission. This is so the list of pending (waiting) submissions don't get to long in periods where we dont have so much time to moderate the pack. I've also made a guide on how to make submissions here:
