I think some kind of filter was used on those images, probably sharpen and maybe something more. They look weird and unnatural to me now. Some of them are also missing shirt and have small bits of snow in hair.

Yes I know you are still learning, I hope my post didn't sound harsh, I just pointed out what you need to avoid when doing more cuts later. I think maybe you need to spend a little more time checking the cuts on dark background.

My recommendation to both you and stefanraven is to have another go at the same sources with the intention of producing even better cuts since that is, imo, the best way to learn

There's not much wrong at all with both your technique, just minor adjustments to ensure that the excellent sources are given the treatment they deserve

In the meantime, although I'll check both the Germany and Switzerland packs in case there's improvements or cuts that I can fix, I'll leave both in the OP of the teampack request for the time being...
