External Hard Drive / FM help !

Oreyt lads.

Face packs and other graphics and stuff have destroyed the memory on my pc, I'm literally down to 900mb left, so I've purchased an external hard drive.

Is it possible to save a) the game & b) Face packs to external hard drives?


If it is, would someone be able to talk me through how to do it??

Not really, no. Just move your other personal stuff to the hard drive. You need a massive clear out of your PC.

I don't know why you ask the question again when I've answered it for you elsewhere.

You can put the default user folder wherever you want as long as you then change it in the preferences.

I realise that, but as stated im not a 100% on how to go about doing this ...

I presume it's just a case of moving all you graphics and what not onto your external drive and then going into preferences on the game and changing you folder location on this page;

I had a pop a few days ago and couldnt figure out what to do once inside the "change folder" button.
