I've been away for a few years and I can't remember.
Do previous years' kits work with a new release?
In this case do FM20 kits (2d and 3d) work with FM21?

They do, but they'll be displaying 2019/20 kits in the 2020/21 FM21 season, naturally.
Some of them may have FM21 2020/21 season kits available for download...
