Hong Kong Restructured

I restructured the league system in Hong Kong. I playtested for a few seasons and didn't find any issues.

GENERAL

Season runs from FEB to OCT, to bring it more in line with other nations in Asia.

Includes 4 playable leagues and 4 cup competitions.

Prize money, TV money, Parachute payments added.

Continental - at the start of the game, Hong Kong get one place in AFC Champions League Prelim phase, and one place in Asian Conf Cup Playoff. This can change from season to season depending on nation coefficients.

Registration rules - Squad size max 25, max 6 foreign players, minimum of 8 u23 players. 4 foreign players in match squad.

LEAGUES

Hong Kong Premier League

16 Teams, play each other twice.

Top Team qualifies for AFC Champions League Prelims.

Bottom 2 teams relegated to 1st Division.

Hong Kong First Division

16 Teams, play each other twice.

Top 2 teams promoted to Premier League.

Bottom team relegated to Second Division.

Hong Kong Second Division

20 Teams, play each other twice.

Top team promoted to First Division.

Bottom 3 teams relegated to Third Division.

Hong Kong Third Division

22 Teams, play each other twice.

Top 3 teams promoted to Second Division.

No relegation.

CUPS

Hong Kong Community Cup

Winners of Premier League vs Winners of FA Cup.

Hong Kong FA Cup

7 round knockout competition, 96 teams total.

Premier League teams enter in the second round.

Winner qualifies for Asian Conf Cup Playoffs.

Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield

4 round knockout competition, 16 teams total.

Premier League teams only.

Hong Kong Sapling Cup

4 round knockout competition, 16 teams total.

First Division teams only.

If you use the FM21 "Real Name Fix by FMScout", I suggest you delete the Hong Kong competition names in the file "FM21 Fix by FMScout.lnc", as the naming for the HK Leagues are all messed up.

To do this, go to Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2021\data\database\db\2140\lnc\all and find the “FM21 Fix by FMScout.lnc” file.

Edit the file and search within the file for Hong Kong. You will see:

Just delete all of that, then save the file. You may need an advanced text editor like Notepad++ to do this.
