FM official editor (not in-game editor)

Does anyone know if the official FM editor downloaded from Steam (not in-game editor) for FM 2019 will work with FM 2022 for example? I've made lots of changes in my own file in 2019 editor version - now want to buy FM 2022. Not sure if my editor data will work there. 

I've tried to look for any info in the web but it's kind of hard to find anything. 

Editors will only work for their iteration's version. Editor data files might work in old games or future games, depending on how complex they are, but they will need to be verified in the editor.
