Probably when I was the most bias Arsenal fan in existence and thought we were gonna win the treble when I was about 14.

It started very early into the transfer window, I'm gonna go a week or two in and Game (on his SenorJuego account) tweeted about how he was going to put a grand on Rooney to the Arsenal but he couldn't even through ringing whatever bet sites customer service. Naturally as an Arsenal fan I asked him "why the fuck are you betting one grand on Rooney to Arsenal? It's not happening". I've known Game for a while, found him to be a decent guy though he does come across to most as a complete bellend. He replied back by saying that he's heard Arsenal have a firm interest in Rooney and wanted to put some big money on it because he thought it was a realistic option. Out of curiosity I also asked him what happened with Supports Interactive and what have you & he said he has plans for a site in the works for an FM site, no OT or nout; just solely focused on FM.

So time passes and he begins to gain more and more confidence in the rumour, with numerous 'big' Arsenal twitter guys taking an interest to it and asking him to DM him and shite. Then begins the shitespouting. He said Rooney had a medical in Windsor (even though it's common knowledge that Arsenal apparently bidded 20mill for Rooney early on in the window which got rejected straight away; then apparently stopped their interest after a gentlemans agreement between Wenger & Jose). His follower account went upwards and upwards and within a week he went from 16 followers to about 250-500. Even I got some merely because some mongs followed whoever he was following & supported Arsenal. Then he changed his twitter handle to AbrokeDiaby. This was when the popularity shot up and gained about 2-3k followers before his eventual and final name change to WayneGooney18 where he hit a peak of about 5/6k+ followers. Between them times I DM'ed him asking what he's doing, because I was pretty sure he is a Geordie who supported Newcastle & reminded me of Greg from the first series of Geordie Shore. He said he has his 'sources' who backed up that Cesc, Fellaini, Rooney & eventually Suarez and Draxler were 100% signed and that he'd liked Arsenal for a while. Cute.

I couldn't believe the amount of attention he gathered, even my Arsenal mate asked me when I was in Malia "who is this AbrokeDiaby guy, seems like a right cunt'. He was correct. Fanny tweeted Game asking what he's playing at with no reply and it seemed like Game either had 100% confidence that these deals were happening or was plotting some over extensive promotional campaign to build up his new FM site coming out whenever.

I'm being honest here, Arsenal probably has one of the biggest fanbases on Twitter, with many being foreign and/or about 12 years old. Pair that with a guy who has good grammar & English skills then they'll believe anyone. One of them people being Game. Many fans knew he was bullshitting but there were actually people who took his word as gospel; fucking idiots.

He's deactivated his account on transfer deadline day, remember them followers stick to your account if you deactivate; so I'm expecting a random FM site pop up on my timeline within 6 months. There's also a fucking parody account made about him ffs: WayneGooney19.

For the amount of time he spent every day replying to dozens of people, it just seemed so pathetic. I know there are tens of thousands of morons who spend all day debating rumours on twitter and it might be fun to fuck with them for a day, a week maybe. But his commitment to talking shit presents itself in a really bad light, I hesitate when I say this, but it seemed delusional. .

Aye, I think he was being 100% serious at the beginning as well about betting a grand on Rooney to Arsenal. He wrote a couple of good blogs about Arsenal as well but have no idea how he became so knowledgeable at the club. He said Cesc was signed even though he was playing matches for Barca ffs.

West Ham are absolutely knackered if that's accurate. Maiga and Vaz Te are the only forwards at the club and I think they prefer to be on the wings rather than play as a central striker. And Allardyce tried to shift them both in the window I think.

If they don't bring in Marica/Petric/Carlton Cole soon and (get them fit), I could really see them deep in relegation trouble by January.

He handed in a transfer request but has not left. Just as well really given the latest development.

Sturridge is on the right, Kolo's face flashes in the background. I didn't notice it until someone mentioned it.

Technically isn't the cyclist at fault there no matter how much of a knob N'Zonzi was being?

I was under the impression if you rear-end someone full stop you're always at fault.

Depends how it happened though, if Nzonzi over took then cut in front of him and broke then it would be his fault. The fact he refused to give his details would suggest he was somewhat at fault surely?

Unless he's got a helmet cam or eye witnesses that would be hard to prove, though.

Perhaps N'Zonzi wasn't at fault but didn't want to give details for other reasons, because he was driving on a foreign licence for example. I mean, its probably indicative that he was doing something naughty but I don't think its an admisssion of guilt.

There were witnesses and CCTV as well, but yeah i was calling him a numpty more because of his attitude/reaction and less so because of the accident

Yeah pretty much if you hit someone in the back no matter what they've been doing you're at fault as you should be following at a safe distance to react in time. The only time I think you can win is if you can prove they've overtaken you and taken your breaking distance making it impossible to stop. Think a truck won in court a few years back in the US on that basis, remember seeing it online somewhere.

Interesting.

Not surprised by this. He'll probably feature from the bench though.

I'm more curious to know if we'll risk Hazard or not.
