Tried out the Metz Audio Match Commentary free version and decided its not for me.

Problem is when installing the files in my data folder I hit 'replace' - so the simatch & simatchviewerpc files that I have are now the Metz version.

Don't have  Time Machine (mac user) and nothing comes up when I search for previous versions of those two files.

Is there a trick that will allow me to get the original files back?

Many thanks

You might wanna see if the game has a repair or verification thingy. And hey, if you've got buddies playing the game without the Metz Audio thingy, hit 'em up and ask for the original files.

Thanks for the advice. When I verified the game files on steam, it says that there are 60 corrupt files. Will hitting ‘verify’ have the effect of deleting all of the mods and essentially restoring factory settings? All I want rid of it Metz…

Cheers

yes it will revert the game to its original files

so you will need to add things like the real name fix etc again

the way @Bielsa is a Legend  states is the best way to do this and just add again what you want

60 files is extreme, when I have re verified clashes it’s generally just a few, but I’m not aware as kingRobbo correctly says of a way of selecting the files, it’s all or nothing

You will need to reinstall the real name fix too, for instance.

Thanks you all for advice.

It only impacted the data folder - real name fix etc.

Did not effect graphics/skins/training folders

Perfect
