This is my take on a Juventus tactics being used my Thiago Motta in a 4-2-3-1.

Emphasis on utilising

- a ball playing sweeper keeper in Di Gregorio

- one ball playing defender (Gatti) and one central defender in Bremer marking the opponents number 9

- fullbacks in a back 4, one that takes little risks in Cabal and one who gets further forward and cuts inside in Cambiaso. These fullbacks should be ready to mark the opponents wingers if they are making too many key passes or creating clear cut chances

- a midfield that consists of two DMC, one being a Regista who gets forward (Thuram) and one stationary in Luiz

- an attack with an attacking midfielder who stays wide (Yildiz) a central attacking midfielder in support (Koopmeiners) and a really wide winger (Conceição) who cuts inside and marks the opponents WBL if needed. As a lone Pressing Forward moving into channels is Vlahović

This tactics is playing out of defence, attempting to work the ball into the box and running at defence in a slightly higher tempo. It is buiding through the centre-backs and counter pressing when possesion have been lost. The line of defence is higher and attempt to step up more.

Any feedback is welcome. I hope you enjoy it.
