Surely Kenwright has more sense than this?

Really hope Lennon doesn't goto Everton. Makes my skin crawl knowing that cunt is on the same island as me.

Surprised Martin O'Neil doesn't seem to be getting a mention.

I think his best days are behind him.

Prehaps, I suppose his spell at Sunderland would count against him as well.

The BBC website is linking Malky Mackay with the job, I can see Cardiff doing quite well in the Premiership next season so I'm not sure if he will be prised away too easily.

I'd have thought Everton would have at least considered him but the way his reign ended at Sunderland felt like the end.

Hull would be mad to let Steve Bruce go so I daresay that's unlikely. Lennon might actually work, even if he is a tool, but I still think Martinez is the favourite.

Benitez isn't a crazy shout, he's a terrific manager and he lives in the city.

Lennon would be a decent appointment. His behaviour has improved over the years, he's pretty clued up on his tactics and has European experience. I wouldn't like to see him leave Celtic but would wish him the best if he joined Everton.

I can't see MON even debating Everton as he wouldn't have the funds that he needs to kill a club.

This I have to agree, he spent relative shitloads at Villa and S'Land without actually achieving anything.

He did alight with Villa tbf, qualified for the Europa League, reached the Carling cup final and a FA cup semi as well as finishing 6th three times in a row which is pretty good for a club like them.

Surely he doesn't stand a chance of getting the Everton job after his recent nightmare at Sunderland.

David O'Leary should take it. He's even worse than MON for spending fucktons of money and ruining clubs

This!

I thought he was doing a good job at Villa despite the money they spent

Bielsa's contract is up in the summer iirc. That would be very interesting.

Would you take Steve Clarke, Chris Hughton or Martin Jol?
Deleted Account #151676
I was thinking Martin Jol would be a good choice, I'm not sure if he would see Everton as a big step up though as he usually gets a decent budget with Fulham.

I'd take Jol at Newcastle but then I said that when he was conveniently fired on the same day as Hughton back in 2010, so I think we may have missed the boat on that one.

Fulham are shocking, why would anyone want Jol? They could still mathematically be relegated.

Maybe because his track record with teams is quite good.

His time at Tottenham and Hamburg was quite successful and Fulham finished in the top half last season iirc.

He did alright at Spurs, but finished 5th with Hamburg and failed to win the league with the biggest club in Holland (outdone by the mighty McClaren). Last season he probably did as you would expect with Fulham, but they are dreadful this year. There are other managers out there with much better track records that I wouldn't go near either so I don't know why he's even mentioned.
