Yeah GTAV or Far Cry 4 I would say, or DragonAge if you're into that type of thing (I'm loving it).

Not a fan of the AC franchise. Liked the first as i was pretty original at the time. Second was great, but the third was bloody awful and that combined with getting tired of the same old mechanic in every game I just ended up abandoning it. Saw Unity got quite a few terrible reviews too

Think it'll be GTA if i do get a game, quite tempted to get a decent headset though.

Decided to get the FH2 Storm Island expansion and really enjoying it so far.

Is the Storm Island DLC for FH2 a bit like the Rally thing for the original? Cars cross over but you get different shit to do?

You know, for something that was hyped as a "home entertainment unit" as much as a console, the Xbox One really sucks when it comes to media. The five-year-old blu-ray player I had before I got the Xbox had far more media functionality.

Didn't play the original DLC but yeah it is all off road and get some extra cars too. Races are better imo than those in the full game, many more hills, jumps and obstacles etc.

Storm Island features 90 new events, including five brand new events: Rampage, Brawl, Extreme Cross Country, Cross Country Circuit, and Gauntlet.

The expansion also features new online content including four new multiplayer Playground arenas, 20 unique online race routes, six Gauntlet events, three new Showdown events, and five online championship events.

What would a Forza expansion be without new cars? Forza 2: Storm Island features five new rides including a 2013 Robby Gordon #7 Speed Energy Drink Stadium Super Truck, 2013 MINI X-Raid All4 Racing Countryman, 2014 Ford Ranger T6 RallyRaid, 1981 Ford Fiesta XR2, 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4. There's also a new barn find car included in the expansion.

A slew of new vehicle upgrades are part of the expansion as well. New off-road suspension, tire, and transmission upgrades, in addition to a new rally-inspired body kit, can be applied to a number of Forza Horizon 2 vehicles.

Last but not least, Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island comes with 23 brand-new Xbox achievements.

Think it was £16, worth it for me as i do enjoy playing and seeing as i cannot stand Advanced Warfare its just money i'd usually use to buy the map packs.

I bought the season pass for Horizon when it was like a tenner last year. Rally was a bit shit but hearing good things about this expansion

At least they haven't done what Sony did and actually remove features.

I still have to plug the PS3 in if i want to watch films from a USB, stream them across or watch mkv files. Its a joke.

People, getting my One in the next couple of days. Do you guys recommend I use the Instant On or Energy Saving mode? I used Instant On for when I was downloading games (setting up) and it seemed a good feature. What do you guys all use?

I have mine on energy saving for that reason really, no point having it switched on if you're not playing etc.

These came today with free standard postage whereas my mate brought them and paid for express delivery to try and get them for Christmas, costing him an extra £5/7

Anyone played the Crew yet?

I use Instant on, as i buy all my games on the dashboard, its handy if you have a smartphone, then if your out you can buy the game and it'll auto download on the Xbox.

I actually have energy saving meters from British Gas, and measured the difference between the power for both settings, and having the instant on is actually less than having a modern smart tv on standby, its only when it kicks in to download that it uses more power, but then again if you had energy saving mode and were to buy something, you'd put your console on anyway so your not really saving much money...
