We finished first, but our performances got worse and worse as the season went on. We improved a bit towards the end, but just looking at the quality and strength of some opposition players, we really need to invest wisely this summer - no shitty 20 buys of an average English player to fill a quota.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/EnglishPremierDivisionOverview_Stages-4.png

Suomi was the standout player. We sorely missed Aarab, Kalinic, Reutershahn and Bibis for large chunks of the season. The season was rather disjointed and resulted in a disappointing Average Rating for our players, a lack of awards, and a smaller points total than last season. We will get rid of dead wood, and I might suprise a few people will players I am considering selling this summer.

One positive note at the end of the season was the rise of 17 year old Jorge Borges - mentioned maybe before (He got two goals in pre season). He has a very good finish, and got 3 goals in 3 starts. Suprisingly, Reutershahn was our top scorer this season with 25 golazos - the first in which one of my strikers didn't top the PL scorers list. Suomi got 18 assists, with Kalinic, Pavone and Ivovic chipping in with some aswell. Note that Harrison only got 6, and Vaseljevic 3 (he had an injury hit season though). Hansen and Kalinic shared the top number of MOTM awards with 7 apiece. Antczak (Bibis' quality young Polish stand in) was our top passer, Carvajal and Flick once again dominated the tackle stats, and Reutershahn winning the dribbles per game figure. Flick was the dirtiest player - 21 yellows and a red to his name - and despite Kalinic being injured for 3 months, he got the top Average Rating figure - once again.

Don't know how long I can wait at QPR til we get the CL, although I am enjoying the setup here, and bring through young gems like Borges.

I have decided to spend a bit, without any selling as the players I would look to sell won't budge - look at this

http://sortitoutsi.net/forums/topic/2874/selling-players

It is really unhelpful as those players won't be near the first team this year and will complain about being on the bench. First up, I will tell you that Fusca (CM) left back to his native Brazil for £2.7m in March.

Incoming:

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/QPRTransfers_History-1.jpg

Mexilhao - young player from Gremio. He is quality, and will rotate with Hansen and Salhi for the starting CB slot. Replaces Bannon, who despite being Scottish, hasen't been trained in the nation so is effectively worthless compared to this guy.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ueyfH1JS72nmNUfmEjT2W0gFqsJiLhPsHRSLMb1L.png

Francis Williams - Striker who played for my Nigerian team once in a while, has good stats, and provides stiff competition in attack! Should get goals, along with Kalinic, Aarab and Reutershahn aswell as up and coming Lukac and Borges. Tweedie will hopefully be sold on!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/a5RVYOxUGqgc9MSpddepei3Kwy2u3IM1sThhq1Sk.png

Fusca - adding to my young gun contingent of Borges, Lukac, Stanoev, Reinaldo, Raphael and Chukwudi, he is a very good DMC already, and will be world class.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lWV0FTgWj11Mg304vIzJcTO8UbNkZ33EWjlDewsO.png

Ricky Verhoeven - another, more attacking young midfielder. Will be brilliant in years to come.

The transfer window finished, and we had bought no others, but a couple of players finally left us. I managed to ship Bannon out as a couple of players were unhappy with him, and Benoit Emporio was also bought by Burnley. A few other youth players left on loan.

Not much has happened. We made an alright start to the season, but it has been very up and down. We seem to smash teams at home, although we get smashed away from home. Losing 4-0 to Newcastle has decreased the morale of our players significantly. We got past Hull and beat Godset, and narrowly avoided defeat against Inter away. We also won the Community Shield, not that anyone cares about that trophy. Brighton made an excellent start to the season - 6 wins in a row and didn't for the first 5.

Okay, so we have had an awful year. We are knocked out the Champions League, Fa Cup and League Cup.

Should I stay and win the Europa League, and win the Premier League in which I am 3rd - 7 points behind the leaders Spurs with 15 games to go, and then try and win the CL, or should I leave and go to one of my loaded leagues which includes Austria, Brazil or Russia?

A very disapointing season. It ended well for us, I suppose, but only winning 2 trophies, and the Community Shield doesn't really count, is very annoying. Out of the League Cup, FA Cup, CL and the EURO Cup. But we hung on for an amazing Premier League win. It was very close come the end of the season, with 1 point separating Chelsea, Spurs and us on the final day, but Anas Aarab, a player struggling all season, snook a goal in, in a tough gritty game against Man U, to seal it. Also, Spurs and Chelsea both dropped points on the last day of the season, so we could've drawn and won.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/EnglishPremierDivisionOverview_Stages-5_zpsdacb7187.png

Sadly, this site was down, so I didn't get time to take screenshots of stats last season, so hopefully you'll believe me. Reutershahn, Kalinic and Williams all grabbed over 15 goals, with Aarab only getting 5. On the contrary though, when he grabbed quite a few assists, helped by Vaseljevic, Suomi, Harrison - who also got 9 goals - and our full backs. I reverted back to the 4-3-3 formation, which was a delight, and once we got in form, we stayed there!

Kalinic got Fan's Player of the Year, 2nd in Player's Player of the Year, and 3rd in the Golden Boot charts. He also got in the Team of the Year, along with Ruiz, Carvajal and Hansen - also Reutershahn and Girtzikis made the subs bench in that. Ruiz got the Golden Glove, and Carvajal, despite being in our first team for 6 years now, got 3rd in the Young Player of the Year charts.

Hoping to bring at least a couple more trophies next year, and we will see where we are then!

So, in good form, with a good squad we come to Germany to play in the World Cup. A solid squad, only missing striker Emile Scott, started the tournament really well, finishing off Chile and Honduras, and enduring a goalless draw with Greece to ensure our place in the next round.

A tough game against Italy was next, which we took great interest and demolished them. Easy enough. we faced France next after that, and unluckily, we fell in the way of penalties. Not a pleasant sight, we dominated the game, and should've won, but the board are happy with my performance, getting South Africa to the Quarters in the World Cup.

Okay, this post is going to be a very angry one. FM 12 bullshit prevents me from winning CL once again! First up, my signings last summer.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/QPRTransfers_History-2_zps94521bdb-1_zps1ba0d90b.jpg

Pablo Perez has been very useful this year and is an excellent CM, and Dwain Reid, for those of you that have read my story, was our 2nd top scorer when we got promoted back up to the Premier League, so for him to come back was really good.

Our first trophy of the season was once again the Community Shield.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/EnglishCommunityShieldMatches_FixturesampResults_zps7d61be43-1_zps1c98fbf6.jpg

An easy win with big Kal and Suomi scoring. I am so far into the game, I can't even access fixtures from that time!

I am only going to post a screeny of the Premier League table with 6 games to go, as I have won the title very easily and I am going to holiday on - apart from the FA Cup matches.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/EnglishPremierDivisionOverview_Stages-5_zpsbe75527d.png

The League Cup didn't end well, with my first defeat in something like 15 games against Chelsea. We still finished runner up though, so our history of dominating this trophy is true again.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/QPRvChelseaInformation_Overview_zps28851318.png

We have got two games left in the FA Cup - the first is a semi against Portsmouth which I expect to breeze through, and then into the final against either Spurs or Newcastle.

Then the competition when I am going to rage. The group phase was piss easy. Werder Bremen were our main competitors and Real Madrid were too easy for us. Top of the group.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/EuropeanChampionsCupOverview_Stages-5_zps52df7aec-1_zps0aea355d.jpg

We then beat Sporting - our old parent club - very easily. And our next destination was once again in Lisbon, against our hated club Benfica. Somehow they are the best club in the world right now, although I seem to remember destroying them with Stromsgodset in 2021!

They injure Suomi, Aarab and Reutershahn!! My two strikers and my CM, and then Big Kal decides to go get sent off! The WORST MATCH EVER. I HATE HOW FM CAN RUIN YOU PLAN AND SEASON IN ONE FUCKING MATCH!!! OUR BEST 3 STRIKERS AND CM ALL OUT FOR THE RETURN LEG - I HAD TO EVEN PLAY A CM IN STRIKER IN THE AWAY GAME!!!

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/SLBvQPRInformation_Overview_zpsc36c5c19.png

So yeah, we got destroyed.... I hate FM. Oh and to make things worse, my 2nd choice CB got injured this game aswell. Fuck.

A few things:
  • I have won another trophy which will come in a seperate post - I have added it to the 1st page for any of you who actually read that.
  • Liverpool are going to be in League 1 due to another relegation! Sorry Dan!
  • I have the Austria, English, Brazilian, Russian, Norwegian and Scottish leagues active.

So a choice for you lot? Should I move on? I have won everything near the top division in England, and I kinda want to move on to another country. Should I stay and win the CL? I have won 5 Premier League's in a row now, which was my original objective.

So back to international football. The last time I managed this competition, I failed miserably and got sacked. Hopefully this doesn't end the same way!

First up our group

Contenders:

Ghana, Guinea and Cameroon - two fallen forces and a dark horse. And us. We were favourites obviously after getting to the quartes of the World Cup the previous year! Cameroon haven't been themselves for a long time (44th in World Rankings) - although their star player is doing amazingly well in the Premier League. Ghana have fell and don't have the quality they once had to form a realistic attack on the better nations (43rd in the World Rankings). The dark horses are Guinea, who are having minor successes recently and are doing quite well (33rd in the World Rankings). Then there is us (5th in the World Rankings!)

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/SouthAfricavGuineaInformation_Overview_zps048ceabc.png
http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/GhanavSouthAfricaInformation_Overview_zpsdeee8b80.png
http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/CameroonvSouthAfricaInformation_Overview_zps8831c897.png

An easy win over Guinea, was followed by a hard grafted draw against Ghana. We needed a win over Cameroon and we duly obliged. Despite this we finished 2nd in our group disapointingly.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/AfricanCupofNationsOverview_Stages-2_zps80afd7e0-1_zpsadcea3e5.jpg

We faced Morocco, the team of Anas Aarab, one of the players injured in my previous post, and a star player. This match had it all. It went down to the wire. Awful defending led to a 7-5 victory to us. Crazy but tense match.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/SouthAfricavMoroccoInformation_Overview_zps8516b15d.png

Next up is my bogey team of every save with every African nation (apart from managing them anyway). Ivory Coast, with a Drogba and a Toure in their team. But we ripped them apart to get to the final.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/SouthAfricavIvoryCoastInformation_Overview_zpsc3433775.png

The stage was set, but a mess up by Nigeria meant it could not be. I wanted to face my old team in the final, but alas, I had to face Mali! And again, we win the trophy. A 5-0 trashing proved that we were the best team in Africa.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/MalivSouthAfricaInformation_Overview_zps35b4ddcb.png

So, I don't think there is a Confederation's Cup coming up, so I'll have to win the next African Cup of Nations to qualify for that!

The quality of my updates are down to the mood I am in. I haven't written a decent update for a while, so I am giving you a detailed couple today, to make up. I hardly wrote anything about the World Cup, a trophy much more important than another African Cup of Nations which I have already won.

Hardly any jobs have popped up, not even lower league jobs! There was SV Mattersburg, in Austria, a country which I have virtually completed, and Sao Paolo. So, how hard is this going to be? Well, we have a small amount of players, and in the Russian First Division, you are only allowed 3 foreign players. I have inherited a very financially insecure club, with a lot of foreign players, meaning I can't sign any Russian players, I can't play any matches right now. I holidayed the first match, which ended 2-0 to us, and we do actually have some quite good players, but our financial woes means we will most probably have to flog them.

We are mid table at the moment, and look solid. There are a dangerous amount of relegation spots, and we need to clear well away from those. We need players immediately, and I will look into selling to gain funds. I have released tons of staff, as it seems staff all clump to clubs, and we had like 10 million scouts. It is gonna be one helluva challenge

A disapointing start to my life in Russia. I had to holiday all my matches, as I couldn't buy players/get players in on a free as they had no money. It was annoying me, I couldn't play games, and although we had a decent record 2 wins, 3 draws and a loss, we doing badly. For my next job, I will at least join them in a transfer window, and look at their players and finances first, so I can choose well. So my spell in Russia is short lived, and I am not sure when my next job will be. I need to look at the squad and the league rules, so that I can see if I can actually play games!

Since by last update, I have joined Brazilian club Brasiliense, and left them also. Another problem club with a lack of money. Most average players in the Brazilian Third Division have wages over £800p/w and when the board only give me £3000p/w on players, plus no transfer budget, plus all my decent players left when I got there. Another poor decision by myself, and my reputation is now getting worse as a result. I have effectively done nothing since the last update, but finding a way to win the Brazilian Third Division would be nice as all the clubs seem to be bankrupt

I am a season in front of where I have written so far, and my story is pretty lost, but as I doing quite a challenge, an informative style is pretty good. Hi again, I am back with my next season. I am moving slowly in the game, so this story is keeping up with my progress - this is due to work and stuff - I won't be able to play as much as often.

So I went out to pick a club after failures at Nizhniy and Brasiliense and I headed to Scotland.

Hamilton Academical

I picked them up, in last place, with a few games remaining in the SPL, my team played our hearts out and caught up with the bottom group of teams, and the team was playing so well, that I wondered how badly the ex-manager did to get into this position. I won 3 in a row - 6-2, 3-0 and 3-0 again. but I lost the vital last game of the season to Dunfermline and we got relegated.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/99068073-cbec-49cd-af69-302b865140d8_zps97722f4c.jpg

So I readied myself for the upcoming season. I brought in youth talent, foreign players and got rid of players I thought I could make money out of. I didn't shed the important players also - Calum Gordon, our best player was kept. I brought in free players throughout the season to aid us - such as Santiago Garcia de las Llaves - a handful I know! We are in the black and look set to stay there, after I shed wage, but increased quality.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/7b5ecfab-84ec-4830-a441-0593d6250e23_zps50138a56.jpg

Throughout the season, we had the quality, and were organised but lacked consistency. We could never string 5 or 6 wins together on the bounce, and we ended up 4th, behind Falkirk, Cowdenbeath and Dundee.

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee495/criscros88/97095354-f3c1-46d8-a073-f1446d155f32_zpsfe134457.jpg

Calum Gordon, Garcia de las Llaves and Jamie Corcoran were our top players, as I expected, and I have unearthed a few gems such as winger/striker Bosko Fustar. Gordon was the 2nd top goal scorer, and we had 5 players in the Team of the Year (Sanchez : GK; Maxwell : LB; Corcoran : CM; Garcia de las Llaves : AMR and Gordon : ST).

We did win 1 trophy though - the Challenge Cup. The easiest trophy in Scotland, especially if you have just been relegated from the top division. I got a lucky draw, and won easily, adding to my trophy haul.

Fun Fact: The last 3 Premier League winners have been Hearts, then Kilmarnock, then Hearts again. No longer a Glasgow dominance.

South Africa

We have got another trophy in the bag - the next African Cup of Nations - meaning I have won the last 3 out of 4 with Nigeria and SA. SA's 2nd consecutive one. I needed to reach the final to save my job (The WORST thing on FM, is that you lose your job so easily as an international manager) and nervously did it. The match engine in the final fucked up, saying I lost 2-1 on penalties, only to find out I won 4-2!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TFabJYu1GbvOyClsPomG6aVnFTUelDRbBk8hLxsh.png

I am midway through my first Confederations Cup, hoping to add that trophy to the haul.

Fun Fact: We are 44 matches unbeaten, only conceding 26 in that time - 5 of which were in the African Cup of Nations 2043 against Morocco. We are unbeaten since 2042. We have taken every African scalp in that time as well as Norway, Argentina, Czech Republic and a draw against Italy.

So, I bid whoever is reading this pile of bollocks farewell, and I hope to be in the Premier League come next update.

Hamilton Academical

We followed up last years success with a league win, to boost us in our attempt at world domination by adding an extra trophy, and help Hamilton become the best team in Scotland

A successful season I would say. We signed a few players in the summer, with young Tete and Papadimitriou coming in, aswell as sought after 17 year old striker Michael Field. Muandumba came in as LB cover aswell for free.

We sold Antonius Larsson, as I didn't think he was good enough, and in the cameos before the season, he was very bad. Both out first teams full backs left - Allen and Maxwell - but we brought in players to replace these (Papaminitriou and Muandumba)

A very successful season, one which we battled with Dundee for the top spot, and pipped them on the last day. We scored the most and conceded the least - the least we deserved was to come first and get promoted. So another trophy on the shelf for me, and on we go, to try and conquer the 2 remaining cups and the SPL.

Talking about the cups, we had success again, winning the Challenge Cup easily. We lost in the League Cup to Celtic, and unfortunately got dominated by St Johnstone to get knocked out of the Scottish Cup in the semis.

My South Africa progress leads me to another prestigious competition. The World Cup. I will be back on completion of that.

The trophy which brings football fans and groups around the world together, and at the same time apart. This was make or break for me. If I win it, I will be crowned best manager in Africa, if not, I am going to resign, after 5 years.

We went into the tournament with a fresh squad. The major surprise in the squad was Sibusiso Khumalo - the main player for us when I started here. He is not in the squad due to his lack of starts for Man City and his bad form.

The 1 billionth thing which annoys me about FM is the fact that loads of your squad get injured before a tournament and you can't call a replacement. First up was Dladla, then Borman, then Magalefa and Mkhwanazi. 2 got injured in training, 2 got injured in our group stage matches. But I was still not allowed to call up a replacement.

We breezed the tough group, and took on Spain.

We breezed past them, also and then faced Turkey who had scored 5 each in their first two games. We were 2 up at HT thanks to Gareth Robertson. They struck back, and I couldn't do anything about it as I didn't have my top players at hand to deal with their thread. We could've got to the semi's but two World Cups in a row, I am left thinking 'How have I lost this?' We were two up for fuck sake - can't we keep a fricking lead. Btw, my best CB (Moeneeb Brown) got injured in the Spain game. Couldn't call up a replacement. Typical.

So I have left South Africa after 5 years, having achieved little. I enjoyed the spell, I have managed very good players, created record runs without conceding and winning consecutively. I won 2 ACoNs, although I didn't need them, I lost the Confed Cup in injury time. I lost my first World Cup on penalties in the semis. I lost my 2nd World Cup in the last minute of extra time of the quarters. Fuck Sake.

I will be back with an international team some day, and try and win in another continent. I will return to Africa one day, and win the World Cup with the best team in the continent. I hope that team is South Africa as I feel there has been injustice over the way we have gone out the last few times. Just need to work out the top talent in the continent.

I will be back in about 2 weeks time, when I have finished the next season with Hamilton. I a hoping for top 6 in the SPL, and either a Scottish/League Cup victory.
