Cheik It Out
Well, since the website has been down, anyone who is actually reading this will have missed a lot. I am going to start with qualifying for the 2038 World Cup based in the United States of America.
We got through the group state with relative ease:
Without conceding a goal, and Morocco our only challengers, I hoped we would get a decent draw. We didn't.
So with one of the greatest footballing nations in Africa, we have a harder task.
First Leg:
Wow. Not too good going into the second leg. They had the better finishers I am afraid.
The Second Leg:
Bit of a shame really. We got a bad draw, and we played badly on the day. We really should've won these fixtures as I believe we have a stronger nation right this moment. Well, they didn't sack me, and we move on the ACoN Qualifiers
Cheik It Out
We had a mixed season. We had times when we were unplayable, and times when we couldn't play at all. We have a young team, growing better by the game. Here is the table. 9th is an amazing position for us to finish, seeing as we had to balance Europa League, and it being our first season back in the big time.
Some of our wins during the season were just because we were too good. Attacking wise, on our day, we can score as many goals as we like - we scored 7 at home to 5th placed Burnley, 6 at home to Liverpool and 5 away to previous champions Nottingham Forest ( a big drop for them!)
We didn't have the greatest of starts to the league, but we forced our way up.
We managed to fit two scorers into the top 7 scorers list, and many of our other players really stood out. Carvajal, our young wonderkid RB was brilliant. As was CB Alen Ljubicic, and striker Omer Oger, who didn't start the season on the bench, but some classy performances made him our guy to look to when we need goals. Hope we don't get too much buyers this coming season.
We were in amazing form at the end of the season, with 4 wins on the trot. We don't have trouble scoring or conceding, and I reckon we won't have too much trouble breaking into the top teams. We have beaten some very easily this season.
That is all for the Premier League stuff. Upcoming tonight. Europa League post, FA/League Cup post and key men post.
Cheik It Out
Well, I think I left it when we beat Lokomotiv Plovdiv. We move onto Helsingborgs of Sweden to move into the next round.
Not too hard, you would say. We are faced with a group of Trabzonspor, Braga and Mlada Boleslav in the group stage. Here we go.
Easy. Scored many goals, against not the world's best defences. Not the best defensive wise ourselves, letting in ten goals, but scoring 21 makes up for that. Up next Heerenveen. They should be easy enough...
Wow. Shit. We got a good draw, and then fail epicly. The second leg makes me so mad.
I guess you have realised that we didn't qualify for Europe the next year, so I won't have another post like this in a while.
Cheik It Out
We weren't too successful this year on either of these. First up, FA Cup. We didn't last long... losing to Villa of all teams.
Anyway, I didn't put too much focus on that cup. But I really wanted to retain the League Cup.
After wins against Wolves and Swansea, we faced Liverpool.
And won in a thriller!!! Spurs in the semis.
No, not this time. Spurs were 2nd at the time of this match, and were flying, whilst we were dwindling in the bottom half of the league. Not a good time to face them. Hopefully, we can add a cup next year. We need European football!
Cheik It Out
Goalkeepers:
I have Mathias Ruiz, a young French goalie, as my first choice, with decent quality backup also. I don't really need to spend more money to buy more backup!
Defenders:
Discount Branislav Ivovic and Marc Arnaud for this - they are wingers who can play wing back. Bannon was prominent all season, with Alen Ljubicic the other first choice CB. He had plenty of injuries, so English International Mark Ottley playing a few games. The full back positions were consistantly Ptak and Carvajal. Carvajal is my fav player in this team! He is a legend and just signed a contract until 2043!
Midfielders:
Markos Bibis is the outstanding player. An excellent DMC for both our systems. Antti Suomi has the best stats out of anyone in our team! He played very well in his first season here. Wingers Marc Arnaud, Branislav Ivovic and Junior kinda rotated, and they all performed consistantly well. Ivovic was the main source of chances from the 3, but I don't think I need to strengthen those positions. Fusca is my other CM - a Box to Box one compared to the Attacking Playmaker that Antti Suomi is. I have a special player to replace him, although he is quite good anyway and will be backup next season. Jason Perkins is very average, but I can't sell him - he is on massive wages aswell! Roy Magee is old and leaving us this end of season. I luckily have younger midfielders willing to step up to the plate as backup - Roman Antczak is very good and young, whereas Giorgio Mencarelli is a solid player, but only backup.
Strikers:
We have a plethora of young, amazing strikers. First up is last year's summer signing Zoran Kalinic. Had loads of dry spells, but got 4 goals against Burnley on the final day! Omer Oger stepped up when we wanted him to. He now starts, and when he is confident, he scores loads of goals. His goals to starts ratio is wonderous! Billy Tweedie is a good player, and has scored some crackers last season aswell. He also got loads of assists. Anas Aarab started off slowly, but is probably our best striker. He will score goals next season as long as he doesn't get injured. Bogers has been sold to Real Sociedad already, but he was decent backup.
Transfers Out:
No one big yet - it is only June, and I expect our best players to be under some bids from rich clubs. Only player to leave is Albert Bogers
Transfers In:
Well, I am looking forward to our new players next season. First is was our first ever natural LB with me in charge - Torsten Flick. Looks like a solid player.
I got this guy in to add something else to our midfield. I don't think he will be making the bench regularly or not though.
Also, we have this young RB from Algeria. Very good potential, but Carvajal was way better than that at his 18.
Then...
We have finally got Ilija! Loved him at Lustenau, now he is going to be a big hit in London! I got him for a bit more than I would've, since he moved to Dortmund from Austria. But, he is ours. Our other CM to partner Suomi!
Then, we are on the verge of signing this guy. Versatile, and probably better than my other CBs. Looking forward to this next season already. The 7.5 mil price tag might be a bit too much, but he has the potential to be the new Tanko!
You ask me, where do I get this money? Well, the board were very generous and gave me £20 mil to spend! I spend a bit on expanding the stadium and improving training facilities, but we are very lucky to have this money! I hope it is money well spent!
Well, we are set for the season coming. I am sure I will get another couple of players, but that might be using the new type of quick post. I am off to Thailand tonight for a long needed

So it seems 3 of the worlds most powerful countries AND scotland are gonna contest for their first World Cup! Major surpriseCheik It Out
Wow! Scotland world champions!
Scotland win a world cup before England! haha. Marc Bannon, my CB started that match.Cheik It Out
Okay, I will start by saying I have no idea how we are doing this well. People would usually call me a 'cheat', but I can prove in various ways how I am not. I use a tactic - which I will show on here - that I downloaded as I couldn't find one which worked with the same formation, and tweaked it a bit to suit my players! Seriously, I don't know whether at the moment I am having amazing luck, and soon we will go on a spiral down the table, but right now, we are winning every match.
The Tactic:
A normal 4-1-2-2-1 with good players. I need to buy a right winger, as Aarab is usually intended for my 4-1-2-3 formation.
The Table:
Yes, I am top. By a fluke really. No one in my team has played badly - the only one in my team up in the tactics bit who has an AR below 7 is Ljubicic.
Our Fixtures:
Not really any outstanding ones. Funny to play 3 Welsh teams playing in the English league system in a row in the League Cup!
Our Most Recent Match:
I honestly thought our run would end at Arsenal. In an even match, we just got two good goals after a very lively start. Nice to see Arsenal still dominating possession!
My Philosophy:
I buy well. I have two types of players I buy - Players under 21 who I think will make the first team setup (examples being Ruiz, Carvajal and Suomi - I also did this with Vaseljevic at Lustenau and look where he is now) AND players ready made for the team (Vaseljevic, Kalinic and Hansen).
Our Star Man:
Undoubtedly Zoran Kalinic. Bought him when he was top scorer of the nPower Championship at Leicester for £3 million. Now he has scored 22 goals in 18 games - the new RVP?
Vaseljevic has performed outstandingly with 9 assists to Suomi's two - the supposed attacking playmaker in the team.
Ivovic has been a star from AML and Carvajal has been a joy to watch from RB - despite not contributing much to the attacking side of things - 9.13 tackles a game is not to be sniffed at though.
Our Position now?:
I am sure confidence plays a big part. When you are winning, you keep on winning, and when your team are down, you start to play badly. At the moment our team are sky high. I have seen players from the other 'big clubs' like Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea etc and their players are loads better than ours - I reckon only in terms of attributes, Suomi is the only player in our team that could get in theirs, maybe Carvajal aswell, but with our confidence, I can see us carrying on this
We are in a very good position. In League Cup Semi Finals, and topping the league. I am hoping to win at least one of those. But right now, I am preparing for the African Cup of Nations with Nigeria. Another update will be shortly due on that.
I would appreciate some comments. I know this is not FM 13, but I'm sure people can spare some time commenting on this.
Cheik It Out
We didn't make hard work at all of our qualifying group. No goals conceded. Easy
We got put in a group with Ghana, Senegal and Zambia - all 3 were dangerous teams. We won comfortably against Ghana, 1-0 lost despite dominating against Senegal, and only just beat Zambia - we held onto a 1 goal cushion for most of the game.
We then faced Mali
An easy win in the end, made look amazing by magical last 10 minute hatrick of Chukwu Kwairanga. We then faced Ivory Coast - my least favourite team (they put us out of the World Cup qualifiers), and one of the only other teams which scared me going into this.
We dominated the match - something my teams are good at, but our finishing was poor. Still we won, but I am sure we could've scored more than 2! Into the Final against South Africa. They have a quality teams with a few quality individuals!
Yay! An even match, but we should've been ahead early on, when Kwairanga missed a penalty - _ should've let a more experienced player take it! Our team has grown up into an amazing squad - 4 years ago when I took over, Kwairanga, Williams, Skinn and Obi - 4 key players hadn't even got into one of my squads. We have only lost 1 match in two years - and that was to Senegal! We have to qualify for the World Cup now - I intend to make this a long term project!
I might bring some awards and stats and stuff to you but right now, I am going to go and update the first post! Another tournament in the bag!

Bubble gonna burst?
A loss after 21 games! :O I hope it doesn't lead to a bad end-of-season, but we can only wait and see. We are still top by 2 points with a game in hand though, just hope this doesn't end in a very bad run.Pippadoc

How not to lose a League Cup FinalCheik It Out
3 losses, 1 draw plus two losses which has taken me out of the cup. Need to turn this round, or we might not even get CL football! Some clubs are improving rapidly and gaining on us, even Arsenal have overtaken us into 1st! Also, Liverpool and Spurs are bottom half, and City and Chelsea aren't doing well either! The clubs chasing us are Crystal Palace, Burnley and Wolves!
Please comment!

We have done well to turn our form around. Kalinic is scoring again, and I have swapped my main tactic again to the 4-1-2-3 which is going well - Ivovic, Kalinic and Aarab are playing really well.
Look who we have next.
Gotta win that match, to secure 1st place. Hoping Man U drop some points. We have a superior GD as we scored fuck loads of goals this season.
Wish me luck
Cheik It Out
Zoran Kalinic's efforts this season have been unimaginably amazing. He is one hatrick away from goal number 50 in the league this season. He has single handedly won about a 3rd of our matches. This was one of them. 2 out of the 3 shots were from outside the area. I just hope I can hang onto him because he is world class. He is transfer listed by request, as our board can't afford to pay for the big contract he wants.
Anyway, Man U lost their game, so we are 1st with 1 game to play

Champions! Never knew this was coming, thought a CL place was on the cards, but a brilliant hatrick (again) from Kalinic resulted in victory!

I think a few of my players got left out of this a bit. Vaseljevic was brilliant - outperforming Suomi, who also played well. Carvajal (RB) and Hansen (CB) were key to our defence.
Not really in a writing mood tonight. Feeling ill, and it is 10:42 right here in Thailand.
Cheers for the comment Dan. Thought you were ignoring my successes! I hope many others can endure this many years! Luckily despite this time playing this game, I have time for a supposed 'life' aswell as providing a decent story. Won't be buying any new FM's for a while anyway, so I am trying to keep this going.
Would love more comments!

I want to establish ourselves as the best team in England. I know I will probably plan for this, and it probably won't happen! I'll end up jumping ship sometime!

We got around 25 million to spend again, which I slightly fluctuated via monthly installments.
We made 3 big signings,
Salhi has really good stats, so should start in CB with Hansen, pushing sometimes mistake prone Bannon to the bench. We needed an attacking right winger, with Pavone providing a good outlet here. 11mil is probably a bit too much though, but in the wise words of Mario Balotelli 'I'm Rich'. Last up is Rouven Reutershahn, another arivee from Austria, who will play somewhere up front, in our 4-1-2-3 formation. Having two different formations is key.
Also, got two backup goalies who aren't on loan from Sporting(CP) who have decided to end our affiliation with them, on a free.
The rest of the signings our young players, with a few of them already gone on loan.
Dabrowski, Rata and Ljubicic weren't anywhere near our team, but I reckon I should've made more money out of them.
I have also upgraded our training and youth facilities, and the stadium expansion of a couple of thousand seats is complete.

Well, here are our fixtures this years Premier League. Been quite easy so far. Had an amazing spell near the start of the year, but Man City have caught us up and are ahead right now. Got destroyed by them.
The table isn't much. Man City leading, which is not really a surprise, given how much they've spent! We are not far behind, as with Chelski. Liverpool in the relly zone!
Cup wise, starting with the league one, we have beat 3 good Premier League teams, including 4-3 against Spurs, where it was a classic first half. We went down 1-0, then before 10 minutes, we had made it 3-1 with a Tweedie brace and Reutershahn goal. They scored, we scored (Tweedie hatrick) then they scored a spectacular Figueroa-esque lob straight from a free kick. He scored it from the LB area for christ sake as Vaseljevic gave it straight to him!
Then the CL, where we simply dominated. Zenit were the only team to get something from us!
There has been an accolade for my prized striker.
Will bring a different update soonish.
Also, wish me a happy birthday. After a special 18th dinner, tonight, I am gonna get wasted (hopefully)

I am going to run through my staff options at the club. Of course I am at the helm. My assman followed me from Lustenau, and is called Martin Fiedler. I couldn't miss out on a chance like this for a nickname! He is pretty good though!
I have an array of 1st Team Coaches, all experienced real players!
My best coach perhaps is normal coach Daniel Rugani. I have him next in the hierarchy with club legend, who played 1 year before retiring with me, Vojinovic.
I have the one and only world-cup-blunder Robert Green as my GK coach. Decent.
I have good fitness coaches and youth coaches, and scouts, but next I want to show my targets. As a rich club, I believe this club could collect a few of my favourite players on the game.
Targets:
First up is Diarra. My favourite ever player on the game. Would be a delight if he joined me here. Funny that my favourite ever player on the game, joins my favourite ever team on the game! Diarra and Ranheim is a love in for me. It is a shame that I will either have to leave him or sacrifice Kiddie Fiedler!
Next up, The Tank. Easily best defender I have ever had on the game! Easy pick, and worth getting!
Yeboah. My African trio, all into great jobs! It is impossible to get both Diarra and Yeboah. Yeb has to wait, or drop to being a coach, if he wants to join this amazing team!
A bit more realistic. Not the greatest player, but he was captain at Ranheim, I signed him for Godset and he retired at Baerum. Love him.
That is all from my alternative update. It wasn't alternative, and it wasn't really an update to be honest.
