So after the reports earlier in the day that we don't care for Kroos he's now come out and said he's staying and never considered leaving. Sounds a bit like damage control from him, if you ask me, but the stories could have just come out the wrong way round.

Interesting that two players that Moyes was very keen on (Carvalho and Kroos) have been shot down by LVG, clearly has a different direction for this team.

Their chairman is a duck. I believe we met his release clause, agreed a deal but then the chairman wouldn't sign the papers for it to go through (deadline day, January).

To be fair James McCarthy is fairly decent player. Not sure he's good enough now for Manchester United or would ever be good enough, but fuck he'd be better a better option than Cleverley or Anderson.

James McCarthy is a terrific footballer and he's definitely good enough for United.

He needs 1 more season playing with little pressure alongside Gareth Barry though. Plus Everton won't sell for cheap 1 terrific season after buying him for £13m

I don't really believe it. I mean, he's a good player and I'd be happy enough with him, but I honestly doubt whether LVG has even heard of him, let alone decided that he's a priority transfer target. Media bollocks imo.

Personally I don't think he's terrific, he's not on the level of a Kross, Toure or Silva and they're the players I'd call terrific. Definitely agree he needs more time without pressure to grow as a player though, I think having Gareth Barry alongside him this season helped him a lot.

I think so. I've seen Schwarzer say that he wants to stay and that the club wants him to stay.
Not sure though.
