I wouldn't count on Balotelli being here that much longer.

Apparently Bobby Manc was there to watch Isco as well. Although he said he was only there to see how Santa Cruz was getting on

I doubt he remembered Santa Cruz was at Malaga until he got there.

My mind can't come to terms with the fact you might get Falcao.

Eh, if they get Falcao next season they might actually qualify from the group stages of the UCL.

The ex-Wigan defender?

Yes. It's strange to hear him being referred to as that though.

Thomas Hitzlsperger joins Everton until January

Former Aston Villa and West Ham midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger has joined Everton until January.
The 30-year-old, capped 52 times by Germany, left Wolfsburg at the end of last season and was without a club.

Hitzlsperger began his senior career with Villa before moving to Stuttgart on a free transfer in 2005.

He returned to the Premier League for an injury-hit spell with West Ham in 2010-11 and missed most of last season for Wolfsburg with a knee injury.

There was a period where he was terrific for Stuttgart, so if Moyes can look after him I don't see any reason why he can't use that sweet left foot as a force for good. He is as sturdy as an airfix model though.

Reading have taken India youth international midfielder Brandon Fernandes on a two-week trial.

The 19-year-old, who plays in South Africa for ASD Cape Town, has been capped at Under-19 level by his country and will join the Royals temporarily and has previously caught the eye of English scouts in a Manchester United Soccer Skills tournament in 2008.

The player's UK-based management company, Kemp Thornton, revealed the news to The Times of India, adding: "He is looking forward to the test.

"It's fantastic and we can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings."

Mike Steptoe, ASD's director, is confident of the youngster's ability to make it big in professional football.

He said: "Everyone in the footballing world told me that I was wasting my time looking in India for players that could one day play in European leagues.

"But there is as much raw talent in India like anywhere else. Brandon is a super talent and regardless of the outcome of this trial, we believe he has a future in professional soccer."

The teenage star's father, Jaju Fernandes, a former executive committee member of the Goa Football Association (GFA), was quoted as saying: "We have always dreamed of seeing our son play football at the highest level.

"European football is glamourous but we are under no illusions that it will be a smooth ride. Whatever happens at the trials, we are sure that Brandon is meant for bigger things in life."

Not a big news but one of the rare occasions when an Indian footballer gets a mention. India and Reading FC love them both. Can't get any better!

This, Moyes has a habbit of getting the best out of his players. He's been training with us for a number of weeks and playing various Reserve or U18 matches for us to assess his fitness. He obviously must of proved his fitness.

He's on about £130,000 a week, if I remember correctly, at Chelsea. I don't think £100,000 is out of reach. The only people willing to offer over that would be in places Terry might not enjoy.
