This file is intended for FM13.3, and will need to be re-applied if/when patches/updates are released to ensure full compatibility. This is due to the fact that some files which are removed when installing this file are re-installed when patches come out.
Magrippinho very helpfully created a YouTube video on how this file should be installed. Some of the contents are different - but the procedure is identical.
Or, you can follow the below instructions to install this file:
Step 1: Go to
PC
Step 2: Delete the dbc, edt and lnc folders from the folder above
Step 3: Copy the dbc, edt and lnc folder from this download into the folder mentioned in step 1.
Step 4: Go to:
Step 6: Keeping the folder in step 5 open, go back to the file you downloaded and open the folder named "editor data files".
Step 7: Copy the 30 files in the folder from step 6 into the folder mentioned in step 5.
To check if the file is working, go to the Champions Cup and EURO Vase, and they should be renamed to Champions League and Europa League respectively. If you are in the middle of a save-game, German national teams will be populated in the next instance that players are called up, and not instantly.

Can I just check that the file with the latest sponsor changes (i.e. Skybet, Skrill etc.) won't be released until the FM 14 demo is out?
No worries if not, I'm just wanting to check. I'll be starting a new save once the last FM Weegie update is out at the start of September so just wondered if it would be done for then.

VICTORY! Finally figured it out. For some reason l'd deleted an replaced the contents of the INC folder within the 1330 folder but not the 1300 one which was empty for some reason. Copied the contents in correctly and now we have one full German squad ready for Brazil 2014. Just in time!

Hello mate, just wondering if there was any chance, if permitted, you could PM me the lnc file with the updated Football League and Conference names. I'm using a custom database with updated transfers etc which has the correct league names, however the current lnc file I have installed seems to over-ride these changes. Would really appreciate it if you could, if not no worries! Cheers.

Just downloaded this and I'm getting lots of messages about there being 17 teams instead of 18.
Does this ring any bells or shall I upload a screenshot?
I've downloaded this update and the 13.3 update from the downloads page - is it possible they shouldn't be used together? I first unzipped and applied the 13.3 update then this one.
Any suggestions appreciated - I'm just trying to start a new game to see what, if anything, happens.

I've no idea. You've definitely installed something in the wrong place, but I can't tell at this point. Could you upload a screenshot of the 1330/lnc folder and your editor data folder.
I don't know what 13.3 update you've downloaded, but it's very possible that the issue is what that file rather than this one, given that this file does not modify any nation rules. Which competition is giving you an error message?
Try loading a new game up without the 13.3 update file and let me know what the result is.
