After Christmas he was. Got back into the team, scored a few goals and received a new contract offer from Milan at the end of the season, which he later turned down. Don't think he is what the Arsenal team need atm though.

Verona beat Milan 2-1 in a sold out Bentegodi. Welcome back Serie A.

Luca Toni, legend. Thought he was completely gone at Juve and Genoa in 2011 - top man.

A woman providing the commentary for the Inter-Genoa game on Swedish TV. Have to admit it's pretty weird to listen to.

2-0 away to Livorno, that'll do, nice strike from DDR and Florenzi with the second. Verona next so will hopefully make it 6/6. Cagliari, Lazio, Napoli and Torino won too.

BR, I'm guessing there's no chance Bradley is going to Sunderland for £6m right?

That's a new one, they've been linked to Zdravko Kuzmanovic as well. Personally I'd love to see him in England as he's about the slowest player in Inter's squad, some achievement when they have the likes of Samuel and Chivu...

I'd be very surprised.

With Lamela seemingly (and annoyingly) off, Florenzi played in a more advanced role last night which freed up Bradley to start in midfield. DDR, Pjanic and Strootman should be the first choice midfield, but there's always gonna be weeks when at least one of them is unavailable so Bradley should feature a lot.

Yeah I saw the Kuzmanovic link too Hibee. The Football Italia site mention Everton as a possibility for him too.

Juan Cuadrado is a really impressive dribbler. His runs down the right side created both of Fiorentina's goals last night.

Tevez with another, nicely took. 4-1 now. Hernanes got sent off for the most ridiculous hand ball, no idea what possessed him to do that when he was already on a yellow.

Is Emiliano Viviano any good? He's supposedly having a medical at Arsenal today.

Not an improvement on what Arsenal have at the moment, Palermo and Fiorentina have decided against him in subsequent summers and if I'm honest he's not even the best keeper in Palermo's squad at the moment.

Fiorentina passing on him may have had something to do with the buy-clause in his loan contract being €7,5M. He might be worth about half of that.

Ended 1-1, not the best result for Fiorentina but these are their first dropped points of the season. Up to Roma tomorrow night to join Napoli at the top on maximum points

Poor Sassuolo getting thrashed 6-0 at home, it's not often you see the small sides in Serie A hammered like this, normally their defensive tactics are spot on and the big sides really have to work to break them down.

Edit: 7-0 now, Di Francesco's probably getting sacked in the morning...
