FMC FLUT skin for FM 2014 v.2.0 [Updated 30.07.2014]
Skin style FMC for FM 2014 for FM 2014 career mode (1920x1080 and 1600x900).
I'm pleased to present you the new update of the version 2.0 of FMC FLUTSkin for FM 14 (white version) – 1920x1080
Thanks to all for your reported bugs. A special thanks to rune (from german Meistertrainerforum) and leo_crumb.
As always I would appreciate it if you could tell me when and in what circumstances (or panels) the bugs arise.
This FlutSkin version includes lots of changes in 1920x1080 version (not the 1600x900).
Note that although you can find the two versions of the skin, I only updated 1920x1080 version.
Besides lots of minor graphics changes here are the most important tweaks in this update for FlutSkin version 2.0:
- “New” attributes profile panel (status icons included)
- “New” board room panel
- Fixed the club overview panel and inclusion of tabs and new information (board confidence panel)
- “New” match titlebar score (stadium name, picture and conditions included; calendar and weather icon included)
- “New” team report summary panel
- Match inbetween highlights: 5 panels with fixed size
Installation Instructions
Step 1
Download the skin and extract the files (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).
Step 2
Open the extracted folder “fmcFlutSkin2014v2.0update30july2014" and Move the two folders inside into your skins folder:
Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\skins
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\skins
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2014/skins
Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.
Step 3
Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see "FMC 2014 FLUT skin 2.0” and "FMC 2014 FLUT skin 2.0 1600x900” as options in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Choose the version for the resolution you want.
Hit the Confirm button.

Many thx buddy!!

But I want to replace the existing ones in the skin. You have to have them in the skins folder right?
flut
No. In the skin folder there aren't stadium pictures.
vajlent
So why does or how can the skin show small images of stadiums then? if there isn't any images in the skin?

As my question is: I want to replace the existing ones!
Willz72
the small stadium pics in flut screenshots are not in his skin folder ones showing in the team overview screen you down load you will find on the sortitout site then install them into the location i told you too put them...im not quite getting what your asking be honest
vanh
In team section.. there is no way to go to the league...
Example: team X(Id...) and then the LEAGUE but actually on the right there is nothing....

So tell me how on earth this skin can show images/graphics that the default skin don't and then you say the skin doesn't have these images/graphics located in any folder? The skin must load the graphics from some location right!?!
As I said before, I want to replace the existing ones in the skin folder named either "fmc2014flutskin" or "fmc2014flutskin-widgets" not add more or new because of limited space/memory!
I'm used to build skins myself and handle editing code like xml etc very well.
Cheers

the skin loads stadiums from your FM14 MYDOCS folder, from the config file, with format:
<record from="100076" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/100076/stadium"/>
then, there are skins that show this loaded info, and ones that don't. the stadium files are a different addon, don't come with any skin, my pack for example is 250MB.

Hi vanh
in fact that information is there (you can see it in screenshots of the skin). ;-)

Hi
In version 1.4 the button "how to" still remains in the right place. The editor button will appear in the titlebar, on the left, next to the other buttons that are there. If it isn't there click with the mouse right over your name coach in order to see if the option appears.

I have now amended the xml file so it shows instead of the Help button
vanh
in tactics on the right (on the bottom of the pitch) you cannot see next match
then in player section on the right after strenght there is a button not visible....

Hi vanh
Thanks. However if you search in the FAQ.pdf file you will find the way to change those panels and to fix the bugs you reported in order to adjust to your screen resolution.

Thanks Beast72 ;-)
In fact for FM13 I did other versions for smaller resolutions. However this "FM 14 season" I didn't because it was a hard working....

First let me say you did a great work here. Nearly everything on this skin is at his place, even the little details.
Now i would have a couple of questions, if you dont mind, just because i love to tweak a bit the skin i use in FM in order to suit better with my very personal preferences.
1) How can i add the colour boxes even in non player attributes panel?
2) Which .png i have to modify in photoshop to add some transparence to the main white tabs (like league tab or formation tab or tactic tab)?
3)As you can see in the screenshot attached, there is some informations, like age, weight, height in tactics tab and squad number in formation tab among the others, that are not centered in their respective columns (circled in red in the pic). How can i center them in their column as, for example, already happens for CI Med (circled in green)?
Thank you in advance for any help and congratulations again for the enormous work,
G.
