I fail to see how Fergie fucked him over?

He's said he made the decision to retire around Christmas time and one of the key reasons was because his wife's sister had died.

Was he supposed to assume that would happen?

I think it's Ferguson's own words that he felt he'd been a dick to van Persie.

But yeah, he didn't outright lie, nevertheless, he personally convinced van Persie to move by telling him he had no plans to retire and then retired less than a season later. It's hard to see how RVP wouldn't feel a bit fucked over.

Anyway, on the subject of managers with better CV's than Moyes: Harry Redknapp.

As shit as it is, we've had that policy for about five years. I don't see how its suddenly a story.

Although I thought you were automatically charged for cup games, rather than having to actively buy tickets yourself.

Certain you usually get X amount of cup games allocated with a season ticket and you pick and choose which ones you go to, obviously if you don't go to the early rounds and your team get knocked out you'll lose your allocation for that season but then its your own fault for not going. If you do use them early then any future cup game you'll have to pay for of course if you want to go.

But the way Utd are doing this appears to force you to pay for a ticket even if you have any of your allocated cup seats left, think that all makes sense.

Obviously i may be wrong and teams don't allocate cup games with season tickets, but certain you used to get so many a season.

Nope, United have made all cup games compulsory for a few years now. You're forced to buy them.

We have a scheme called the ACS: Automatic Cup Scheme

It's borderline criminal, but I think a lot of clubs do it now.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/6742221.stm

(Its also why the stadium looks emptier than the official attendances for COC games, because season ticket holders are forced to buy and then don't turn up)

Especially if it means missing the biggest game of the season, its quite disgusting really. Even Arsenal give you 7 cup games i think, but then again the ticket will cost you around £3509847632480967

Aye its a disgrace. But like I say, I don't see why its suddenly a story after all these years. Supporters are aware of the rules when they buy their season tickets.

There's just no evidence things are getting better under Moyes. As Croy said, Liverpool get Rodgers time but the fans could see the progress, with Moyes there is no progress.

King Eric would be better than Moyes, his press conferences would be worth the season ticket price!

It could have been worse, I could have said Giggs/Neville.

Giggs/Neville would probably do a better job as caretakers till the end of the season than Moyes.

At least they'd have the team.

Man Utd are a disgrace for that Automatic Cup Scheme, basically fleecing fans out of money for games they don't want to go to.

As if they don't make enough money already.

Tis a story now cos of how shite they played in the 1st leg and cos it's the derby that they'd be "forbidden" from. Trying to push it as United bribing fans really

I think its basically so the club can advertise the fact we have cheap season tickets, which we do, and then hit people with charges later. It's not cool.

Apparently Man Utd sent an email to fans with a dickish tone. So that's why its been brought up now.

Hernandez posted this on Instagram earlier, and has just now tweeted denying that it had anything to do with RVP's comments.

What is that supposed to show exactly? Half the time the pass to Kagawa is definitely the wrong one.

If Kagawa able to release to Evra, then the play will be successfully made the transition from buildup play into penetration in final third. Unfortunately, Kagawa did not make it but the idea was there.

On the subject of ACS, the club have sent out emails confirming that Europe League would be part of it next season. So the reward for season ticket holders for us being shit, is an extra 6 home games and a ~£220 increase in overall ticket price.

What the fuck has he been doing in training for the last eight months?

Actually, if he answered that, it'd probably explain a fuck load of questions.

Juan Mata POTM for Feb. Why did they even bother having one

Obviously a 'welcome' present for Mata anyway but I suppose he has been their best player

He was up against Vidic and Evra, I think it says more about how shit we've been for a second month running than anything else!

"Tom Cleverley is a fantastic young player who is developing all the time. He is a great trainer and he is someone who is first out and every day does his best in training."

Sounds like something your manager says when you're a child who isn't exactly the best at football
