Watching 01/02 has given me more hope for Moyes, it really can get better! The 4-3 defeat to Newcastle, god we were awful.

Although, Poe, Laurent Robert really was fantastic.

My favourite headline from the season:

Bolton Liverpool Arsenal Newcastle Chelsea.

from what i remember he was decent enough after a poor start, certainly nowhere near his best but was decent in a very poor defence. I seem to remember the fans liking him eventually

I can't see any way back for Moyes now. If he can't motivate his players and get them to perform against Liverpool when they're backs are against the wall, when can he?

United won't finish in the top four now and even if they beat Olympiacos someone better will knock them out in the quarter-finals.

He still probably won't be sacked.

Hopefully he doesn't completely wreck us over the summer, he's already cost the club an astronomical sum of money. Something like £400m+

In Red Issue, so take with a pinch of salt. My money's on it being true though:

Don't know why the first isn't working, its the more interesting of the two. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bi4wrJzIYAAwt6X.jpg

Tbf to Moyes - Ferdinand could do with following Jagielka's example as he's a better defender atm.

This. Rio's always come across as a guy with a massive ego.

Ferdinand is a 35 year old over the hill centre back who at his peak was if not the best in the world then at the very least in the top 3 or 4.

Jagielka, with the greatest of respect, is an inferior player to what Ferdinand once was, him being finished at the top level has little to do with not doing what Jagielka did, and I can completely see why that would grate.

I'm not saying the reason Ferdinand is playing shit is because he's worse than Jagielka in his prime as that would be ridiculous.

If Ferdinand is taking the hump with the manager I see no reason how that is Moyes' fault.

It is entirely his fault if that's the reason he's pissed Ferdinand off, thoug.

I don't know what to think of that, I immediately thought 'na it's bullshit' but the Ryan Giggs storming off moment I can see being true.

The two hours of defending has done fuck all, hasn't it?

If we lose on Wednesday I can see Moyes being sacked.

"Look at what one of the best defenders in the league is doing" is no reason to get pissed off

As are many 35 year olds who used to be good. Footballers times come and go, Ferdinand's has gone.

David De Gea is confident that, with the right attacking approach, the Reds can overturn the 2-0 deficit against Olympiacos

With an attacking approach we might get somewhere.

Weve played 14, won 4, drawn 3 and lost 7...scored 18, against 19

Fulham have played 15, won 3, drawn 4 and lost 8.....scored 16, against 27

"The players have shown it to me recently. Definitely with the exception of Olympiakos game I think we have played quite well."

We've beaten Swansea (after 2 attempts), Crystal Palace, West Brom, and Cardiff all year and he still trotted out that 'playing well' line before Liverpool. It beggars belief.

I don't know what the fuck he has been watching.

My favourite comment from him was when he said the Dubai trip was the first time he's got to know the players. What the fuck had he been doing for the first eight months?!

Yeah, I know that - Ferdinand was world class in his prime but if a past it player is having the hump with a manager it's not their fault.

Managers word goes - Ferdinand's doesn't.
