The MCFC subreddit has gone to shit too with one or 2 users basically hating anyone foreign, then complaining about being downvoted for insulting people. It's great craic to see them getting pissed off

I unsubscribed from there ages ago, it was fucking shit. No decent discussion but plenty of wankers with bantz + trolls.

Aye the United one's wank too. People who think they're smarter than everyone else because only they can see Cleverley is a world class player.

Just saw John Foot retweet this, talk about paranoia. Pointed out that theres also similar ads showing the Liverpool/Spurs game, Liverpool/Arsenal and our game against City, Mourinho having a job with BT has nowt to do with it.

We've been a BT Sport affiliate for a while and have just renewed the contract between us. I believe the Arsenal - Liverpool FA Cup match advert has been released today as well.

Such a passionate player, fearless and a born leader, I'll never forget his final game at Villa when he brought all the fans a shirt with his name on as a farewell gift out of his own pocket.

Just did a league predictor. My results gave me (in this order) Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd top 4 with West Brom, Burnley and Hull going down.

And Burnley is a sh*thole.

£10 is a good effort though, surprised it's so cheap.

Yeah its part of some away scheme Chelsea are doing. £10 off some away game tickets and they also announced £10 train for our next away game which is Everton

I haven't done any "predictors" but in my estimation which could be way off here I would like to think that City, Chelsea, Arsenal and either Tottenham or Pool for that final position. The bottom 3 to me would have to be Leicester, Sunderland and either Burnley or West Ham. West Brom always find a way to stay up, same with Villa. I am just ready for the season to kick off and let's have another great season of Premier League football.

If Chelsea don't win the League then Mou should definitely get the sack. Especially if he wins nothing again.

I think West Ham will be fine - especially if they keep Allardyce, he should have enough to keep them up.

On paper I actually think Villa have a stronger squad than they are given credit for, especially if they can reintegrate N'Zogbia and Bent successfully, and Benteke gets back quite soon.

Guzan/Lowton/Vlaar/Okore/Richardson/Delph/Westwood/N'Zogbia/Agbonlahor/Weimann/Benteke - looks like it should be enough. Their squad is pretty big as well.

On another note Matt Lowton and Chris Herd are 25. Who the fuck is Chris Herd, and how is he older than Delph and Kozak?

Australian who can play anywhere across defence and midfield, very enthusiastic and hard working but lacks any real technical abitly. I doubt he will ever establish himself tbh. likely destined to move on to a Championship side eventually.

Yeah, I know vaguely, it's more the surprise of a 25 year old back up player sticking around. I always assumed he would be about 20. Same with Simon Dawkins, when he was 25 or so when he went on loan to Villa.

Out of interest are Luna, Stevens, Bennett, Lowton & Tonev unrated by Villa fans?
Deleted Account #151676
Luna - Aright going forward but gets caught out of position a lot.
Stevens - Shite, will never be Premiership quality, I'm suprised he hasn't been sold to a lower division club or released.
Bennett - Has the odd good game and works hard but is all to often suspect when it comes to positioning and reading of the game.
Lowton - Good fullback, loves to get forward and have the odd crack at goal, might well attract bigger clubs if he has another good season.
Tonev - Drives forward with pace but offers nothing in terms of end product, loves to shoot from distance but without fail it ends up somewhere in a lower earth orbit.

Luna was torn apart by Hatem Ben Arfa when Newcastle were there last year (I saw) and I thought he wasn't rated so highly after that.

I think the problems for Villa is now malaise, given that the owner doesn't want to be there and the fans at Villa largely seem to want a better manager, who equally doesn't seem to pick winners from it. Squad wise, they should be better than 15th, but its a dicey situation for them, and its not hard to at least foresee more difficulties.

No he shouldn't. Just because he's put together a good side doesn't mean anything is a guarantee. I certainly wouldn't want him to be sacked if he come up empty handed, and I'm sure a lot of fellow Chelsea supporters will feel the same way.
