Yeah, I'd take Clyne. I think it's about time that Johnson is edged out of the picture and Kyle Walker appears to have regressed majorly after a great season in 2011/12. Stones' long-term future is probably in the centre of defence as well.

I don't understand why people keep putting their fantasy England lineup with a 2 man midfield without an actual holding midfielder.

Delph in for Henderson and i think Chamberlain is replacing Sturridge.

What about Nathaniel Clyne for right back? I think he alternated with Chambers alot last year so didn't have a full season, but now should b 1st choice, he's got the attributes to do well if give a chance. Also Eric Dier could force his way into the Euros reckoning if he continues to get games at Spurs

Clyne should of been called up without doubt.

Erm, I really hope we're not actually playing a diamond.

Team looks fine in a 433 or 4312, but if Henderson and Delph are both supposed to get forward as well. This could get messy. Overall a bizarre selection.

4-0 England then.

No idea why Wilshere is being played as the deepest midfielder. He's never played there in his life and this will be a very tough game.

Are we really that shit that a player who wouldn't make Germany's F team is playing first team for England. Delph is really fucking shit. If you've got a midfield diamond why the fuck would you play Wilshere as the deepest man and have that complete shitcunt in front of him?

The good and the bad of Welbeck in a few seconds there.

Because he's one of the best two central midfielders we have, comfortably. Not his fault he's being played completely out of position.

At least he's still running into players and falling over.

Pass was good, Sterling was on his heels imo

He's awful. Delph looks miles better.

Bullshit. All Delph has done is run around smashing into Swiss players. Wilshere isn't "awful" by any means, he's just finding it difficult to have an impact when he's being used in a hugely restrictive role he's never played in before. Some of the stick he gets is totally unwarranted.

Stones really, really isn't a right back.

That ball to Rooney was excellent.

He generally just offers nothing, his standard move is receive ball turn five times before passing to the fullback, And if he gets in trouble dive. His passing has been far too slow. Twice he's given Delph hospital balls.

At least Delph has provided energy, and can pass.

He's played there for England before and was also touted as being our future holding midfielder at one point.

He's fashionable though. No denying that.

Fairly sure Welbeck is trolling. His two finishes were excellent, yet he looked as if he didn't really mean them.

And fair play to Hodgson, the formation looked a lot better in practice. Although I worry what would've happened if Sturridge was fit.

Hopefully it'll wear off soon as he is absolutely terrible at right back, guess he has to be better in the middle.

I'd also like to see a race between him and Mertesacker, it'll be close.

Wilshere had a good game tonight I thought. We need him to really as we have no creativity through the middle atm.

Meh. He's basically a central midfield version of Rooney. Lots of passion and aimless running.
