Wiener Neustadt: April 2030

With a substantial lead at the top of the table, surely it's only a matter of time before we're crowned Austrian First Division champions? It was the penultimate month of the season and we had five league games and an Austrian Cup quarter final tie against my former employers Salzburg.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nr240YfcUVayOa5VPCjt8vSuLF6W218zPXRL8okC.jpg

It turned out to a disastrous month as all the hard work looked to be undone as we only won two of our five games. The month kicked off with a hard fought 2-1 victory away to Wolfsberger as goals from Jurgen Schumann and Marcel Meixner saw us secure the points.

The form then turned sour as we suffered a shock two one set back at home to Leoben, departing winger Aleksander Husic scored our goal on fifty two minutes but even though the visitors are doing well this campaign, we should be beating teams like them...with all due to respect.

We then made the trip to Grodig and could only manage to draw two two - central defender Dinko Trajkovic and winger Aleksander Husic got on the score sheet but it was now two games without a win.

A trip to my former employers Salzburg was next in the Austrian Cup quarter finals, they deservedly won five one and our goal came from Aleksander Husic on sixty seven minutes.

It was then three league wins without a win as another one of my former employers, Austria Lustenau beat us five two at Stadion Wiener Neustadt, our consolation goals came from striker Jannik Kempter a minute before half time and central midfielder Jurgen Schumann a minute after the hour mark.

Marcel Meixner's eleventh minute penalty was enough to seal a 1-0 victory away to Seekirchen.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/5abPaQzE1VoQB1nbD9R8l3LTQIjsL284jplpfhHC.jpg

Despite producing a horror month that saw us win two, lose two and draw one from our five league games, there hasn't been much damage done as we still lead the table by fifteen points with six league games remaining and if my maths is correct then we'd need at least one more win to seal the title.

It was a shocking month Johno, at the wrong time of the season as well but thankfully hasn't done too much damage.

Indeed and that also means Austria has been chalked off in three seasons Dan, pretty poor from me, ha.

Wiener Neustadt: May 2030

So here it is, the final month of the season and bar an absolute collapse it should be my final month in Austria as that'll be chalked off and we had six games remaining in the league as I look to secure the First Division title.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0XTamvnq0EhjOYXnFwkS4KRWNmaUzAV8L3gdHgOx.jpg

A home game against Horn began the final month of the competitive season and the side recorded a 2-0 victory and we needed two second half goals from Jannik Kempter and Victor Manuel Alcazar was enough to seal maximum points.

Seven days later and a trip to LASK Linz saw the gae finish three three and I believe that was enough to secure the league title as Grodig lost their rearranged game - Marcel Meixner pen, Mehmet Zeki Ozden and Jurgen Schumann saw us not just secure the title but also saw me chalk off Austria.

We then demolished Austria Salzburg 7-3 at home as winger Leonhard Grobl, who will be leaving the club in the summer, scored a hat trick. Victor Manuel Alcazar, Markus Schneider, a Lasse From own goal and Ronny Huber also scored in the thumping victory.

Our next game saw us suffer a disappointing three two defeat away to Hohenems and it was a disappointing collapse iirc as I believe goals from Markus Schneider and Victor Manuel Alcazar had us two goals up but then we completely collapsed.

A late penalty, two minutes from time from Marcel Meixner was enough to seal a 1-0 win over Wolfsberger.

The season then ended with a goalless draw away to Leoben, it was a typical end of season game, nothing happened and no one deserved to win.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/S5eVyBpufBlqcModHQf543Vv7NBOYTYvuY0AI801.jpg

So it's official, despite that awful month of April the side managed to bounce back in May and secured the league title as we finished seventeen points ahead of runners-up Grodig as we scored ninty two goals and conceded forty four goals in thirty six games. Horn and Seekirchen were relegated.

Returning to Scotland for a third stint

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/h10hNpcNqv74cyhnVT1qPyjNcyj9M7Kbpd0ZP7fv.png

After securing the First Division title in Austria it meant that I had 'chalked off' a second country and now I could head to another country in an attempt to try and complete it and instead of loading up 'new' countries, I have decided to try and complete the ones I've got loaded now and I have decided to take a third stint in Scotland following spells at Clyde and Inverness....why? Well..

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lYbZPp4qOC7ZS68vrPBx2ajKxmCOiUjFNhK2QyWv.jpg

This is the reason why! Rangers have finally sacked Jamie Langfield after 'threatening' him with the chop for quite some time and when I say sometime, I mean like forever. Over the past few seasons they have struggled in the league and it could be up to me to change that, they don't have a bad squad so could it be down to poor management? That's not for me to judge.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Nj2Fj6E23ovAHGR1t4fApQsj0gVSh894OicBlF1D.jpg

Of course when I decided to apply for the job, I received an interview even though they said it was 'unlikely a deal will be done immediately' or something like that.

I'm glad I wowed them enough to be offered the job in which I have been given a transfer budget of one point seven million pounds but I don't know if that'll need to put into the wage budget or not as the squad only has two first choice centre backs. But for the first time in this career I am managing one of my beloved and I can't wait to get started.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vPIdpO3k6Hcg37eaSaCQFrkJrrtjnpBNwx4rRT39.jpg

And this is part of the reason by Jamie Langfield was sacked as Rangers manager, a seventh place finish isn't good enough.

Here is the league winners history and as you can see, for a welcome change, no one has dominated the league. Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee, Dundee United and Hamilton have all lifted the trophy since I added Scotland in twenty seventeen. Rangers have only been runners-up three times, that needs to change.

Cheers SBR, glad I'm managing one of my 'beloved'.

Rangers: Pre season round-up

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/QrOVSZ2kzIms0SojqXPUaYYaGxHTTW7s2kCgQ0G7.png

After being appointed manager as my 'beloved' Rangers, I couldn't wait to get started at Ibrox in an attempt to secure the clubs first Scottish Premiership trophy since 2011 in that time they have been demoted to League Two, made their way up back to the top flight and have been runners-up three times since twenty seventeen but in recent years they've struggled and are predicted to finish the season in seventh place.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/cdj5tC6RDQONC50r91BLvUak6Bt9mbrPAfdRVOG5.jpg

I've brought in five players this summer to add much needed 'depth' to the squad and the first three signings are played I've quite familiar with as I had the trio at Wiener Neustadt last season with the first two on loan deals and the players who have arrived after previously agreeing pre contracts are Markus Schneider, Christian Evers and Dominik Konig while I've also captured central midfielder Mirko Poljak and left winger Karl Harrison.

There was just the one 'major' departure this summer and that would see left back Djordje Zivanovic head to Norwich City for half a million pound and he wanted to leave and wasn't irreplaceable. David Martin and Gary Martin left on loan deals while the other six players were released when their contracts had expired.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/IlEupyjmpcVTdTLkDHdSaslBxWcAqqQ8SmVZwW88.jpg

On the field pre season was successful as the side suffered just the one defeat in nine games and that came in the home game vs. Berlin-Kopenick and it was also the only game we failed to score in as well.

The side also managed to keep six clean sheets although bar the one against Numancia, it wasn't really against top opposition - Dumbarton, Forfar, Cambuslang Rangerss, East Kilbride and Clydebank as well. They also drew with Pribram and Shakhtar.

Of course Johno, when the job became available I couldn't not apply for it. They're decent but could be a lot better I suppose but we're not in debt and that's the important thing. Yeah Celtic not dominating is a strange one, I thought they would have but glad they're not.

Rangers: August 2030

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/I16HXTnDJmP51ERJ0uNL0xK0LZBDPf0RXxyN82Yv.png

Following my arrival at Ibrox, I couldn't wait to get started in the competitive action and the month of August in the year twenty thirty would be the time I'd get the chance to properly manage one of my 'beloved' clubs. This month would see us play five Premiership games and a League Cup second round tie as well.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/CjOfdTokSCWWjJoN7Xa0H54s9dvENwdmidb5ZI8Y.jpg

The Premiership campaign kicked off with a 3-1 victory against Dundee at Ibrox and I was delighted to have got started with maximum points. Winger Callum Jeffrey, central midfielder Nicolas Ocampo and striker Bela Meszaros all scored on my Rangers debut.

We then demolished ten men Hearts 6-2 away from home as Bela Meszaros scored twice while Nicolas Ocampo, Viktor Rumenov, a Gary Wright own goal and Callum Jeffrey also found the net in Edinburgh.

A hat trick from Callum Jeffrey helped us to a four one win at home to Hamilton, Nicolas Ocampo scored our other goal on thirty seven minutes as the midfielder scored for the third game running but we still haven't kept a clean sheet this season in competitive action.

We made the trip to Motherwell and were involved in a nine goal thriller, winning six three as the goals continued to fly in at both ends. Attacking midfielder Andrew Bell bagged a second half hat trick while Callum Jeffrey, Andreas Adamou and Bela Meszaros added the other goals on the road as we made it four league wins from four.

First half goals from Marcus Campbell, Mirko Poljak, Bela Meszaros and Jim Ross saw us ease to the third round of the League Cup after winning four nil away to Elgin.

The first month of the season concluded with an absolutely amazing 8-2 victory away to fierce rivals Celtic in a game that'll be remembered by right winger Callum Jeffrey as he struck five times while left back Christian Evers scored and striker Bela Meszaros bagged a double in the rout.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/KnbMiczjC9I9Um3aLFpFLoxSXgcTdZA4m6hdPZ9A.jpg

What an amazing and ridiculous start to the league season but I don't know if it's going to continue as I'd 'kill' for a clean sheet at the moment but we have won five out of our opening five games and have scored a staggering TWENTY SEVEN goals in those games and conceded nine.

I sure didn't expect that start to the season, especially with the seventh placed predicted finish but then again it isn't a bad squad I've taken over, don't think we'll win the league though Dan.

Been a mental start to the campaign KEZ, no clean sheets yet in the league and that's a little disappointing but they'll come I'm sure.

Cheers SBR, as I said to Dan, I don't think we'll win the league.

It's mental Johno, can't explain it.

We scored six goals in the first half alone against them, couldn't believe what I had been seeing itchycoo, but it's sure a popular result.

Rangers: September 2030

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/b7HXOuEMqMLIAJB3rCzkarRrrkF8RizsKcWQUDfV.png

It has been a mental first month at Ibrox that has seen the club score an incredible twenty seven times in just five league games and also recorded a sensational 8-2 victory against fierce rivals Celtic and that'll sure make me 'popular' with the supporters already, just three league games were played in September and a League Cup third round tie as well.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/KKjWoZihlR2NjXVzTnGLG82w9VJN1706H4vmVE1b.jpg

Due to the international break, we needed to wait until the middle of the month for the first fixture and that was against my former employers Inverness Caledonian Thistle and we recorded our first clean sheet of the campaign following a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Dominik Konig, Andreas Adamou and Bela Meszaros.

A single goal from Andrew Bell on thirty eight minutes was enough to seal a single goal success at home to struggling Hibernian.

We then advanced to the next round of the League Cup after demolishing fellow Premiership side Dundee 6-0 at Ibrox. Stuart McGowan, Andrew Bell 2, Dominik Konig, Bela Meszaros and Callum Jeffrey all got on the score sheet in the convincing victory.

The month would end with our first league defeat of the campaign as Dundee United won five one in our fourth home game from four this month, Stuart McGowan scored our consolation goal a minute into the second half.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/YjonXrtiBvvpl4FtKeSG44iTpVUpN8JYsaDBWw9U.jpg

The good start to the season continues despite that hiding by Dundee United as we still lead the league by six points and the goals continue to fly in as we've now bagged thirty two times in eight games and conceded fourteen, still don't think we'll win the league though.

Rangers: October 2030

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/D7zbxMIpcsH47CkdS4Kkgj9FvHftZPtYlcsG7UNM.png

So far it has been a great season for Rangers, sitting proudly top of the Premiership table and six points clear of the team in second place while the side also remain in the League Cup although we've a tough quarter final trip to Dundee United to try and overcome.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/76FBk5e2t2BSQieyuUTOtgMMaSA5b5tgm3u1NhHN.jpg

The month began with a trip to Aberdeen as we bounced back from that defeat against Dundee United, recording a 6-4 victory as both Bela Meszaros and Stuart McGowan both hit doubles while Karl Harrison and Mirko Poljak also scored in the ten goal thriller.

It would be then back-to-back away games as St. Johnstone were beaten by two goals to nil thanks to a double from striker Bela Meszaros.

We would then record our third victory in as many games as the side came from a goal down to record a 3-1 win over Partick Thistle at Ibrox, goals from Karl Harrison and Andrew Ball had turned the game around before half time before Ball's second of the game on sixty seven minutes sealed the win.

October would be completed with a League Cup progression as we deservedly beat Dundee United four three at Tannadice and the side progressed thanks to goals from Andreas Adamou, Andrew Ball who scored twice and Bela Meszaros.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/gH3sAOgmbHw3FHnj9GEiQgAA6eOLG2TMjLbbdgOk.jpg

After the opening eleven league games, we have opened up a twelve point gap at the summit but I doubt we'll remain that far ahead as I'm due to hit some bad form (it usually happens everywhere I go) but I'd love to do the league/cup double this season but it won't be easy.

So far it has been a remarkable season for the club as we are looking strong in the league as I'd love a league and cup double this season, meaning I could step down and we have entered the penultimate month of twenty thirty with four games - three in the league and one in the Scottish Cup.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ddBs7KojKGslYLEldc4OMrJh2Ul7FIGM6buiwL4f.jpg

A tough trip to Dundee kick started the penultimate month as the side recorded a 3-1 victory as Bela Meszaros bagged a treble as the Hungarian strikers goals came after twenty four, forty seven and fifty eight minutes.

We then made the trip to Hamilton for back-to-back away games and a first half double from left winger Karl Harrison was enough to secure a two one victory.

A Jim Ross goal, seven minutes from time was enough to rescue a point in our only home game this month against Hearts.

The penultimate month of the calendar year saw us travel to Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup fourth round as we'd advance to round five following a 6-4 win. Bela Meszaros scored a sensational four goals in this tie while winger Callum Jeffrey scored twice as well.

As we head into December, we still find ourselves sitting eleven points clear of second placed Partick Thistle as league favourites Celtic continue to struggle (and I love it) and in our opening fourteen games, we have scored forty nine times and conceded twenty two.

Rangers: December 2030

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vDh7Yd8woynWPVLpImRT4B2t1IsBuZz1mRWqHOuM.png

We have reached the final month in the year twenty thirty and it's been a good campaign for the club...so far. December is quite a busy month as we have six games, all in the Premiership to contend with. Can we continue our fine form or will it turn come the end of the calendar year?

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/gVcaVZiN1hLxREI6xleH1crbMkYnIz3KW2szcb3E.jpg

Bela Meszaros struck a first half hat trick as my Rangers side began the month with a 3-0 home success over Motherwell.

It would then be an eight goal thriller at the Caledonian Stadium as we ran out deserved five three victors, Bela Meszaros continued his fine form with a double while Andrew Ball, Nicolas Ocampo and Jim Ross also found the net.

We'd then keep our second clean sheet in three games as Hibernian were beaten 3-0 at Easter Road thanks to second half goals from Callum Jeffrey, Bela Meszaros and Nicolas Ocampo and iirc at the time before the goals we were down to ten men after a first half red card. Great result.

Goals from Bela Meszaros, Callum Jeffrey and Andrew Ball wasn't enough to celebrate victory over Celtic as the 'Bhoys' won four three at Ibrox much to my 'displeasure'.

We would bounce back though as we'd beat Aberdeen 5-3 at Ibrox thanks to goals from Kieran Twaddle, Bela Meszaros, an Ivan Novotny own goal and a double from winger Callum Jeffrey.

Twenty thirty would be completed with a nine goal thriller at Tannadice as the side beat Dundee United by six goals to three as all of our six goals arrived in a 'frantic' first half. Striker Bela Meszaros scored twice inside the opening five minutes, Jim Ross scored on ten and then a James Boyle own goal, Nicolas Ocampo and Andrew Ball added further goals inside the final fifteen minutes of the first half.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/awetBXxaNfwB9r6WZ26rWi00lC7lSQ4gDPj94Fru.jpg

This is how the league table has ended up come the end of 2030 and it's a 'mixed' table as some clubs have played more than others and some less but the important thing to look at is the fact we're sitting thirteen points clear of second place Partick as we head into the New Year.

Rangers: January 2031

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6WKhsGyoQw9dI6hor55oHLJj9gwO5xTnARX8qgU5.png

Happy New Year folks, it's the year twenty thirty one and I'm hoping my reign at Rangers will last just five more months as we are looking good in the Premiership but I'm also hoping to secure the League Cup as well this season so I can wrap up two more trophies in this epic, epic career.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/jG4NZie0X7UispkpNRAYLfzhFfdRGK2IGr0Rr7Ji.jpg

The New Year kicked off on New Years Day with a trip to Partick Thistle as the side managed to secure a 3-1 victory in what's a tough away trip. The three goals arrived in the second period as Bela Meszaros hit a double while Callum Jeffrey added our third of the afternoon.

We then had to wait seventeen days for our next league game and that would been a home fixture against St. Johnstone as we could only muster a one all draw, Karl Harrison baggiing our goal on fifty four minutes.

For the third league game running this month we failed to score in the first half but still managed to beat Dundee 3-1 at Ibrox thanks to second half goals from Andreas Adamou, Bela Meszaros and winger Callum Jeffrey.

January would come to an end with a disappointing three two defeat away to Hearts as the Jambos at Tynecastle. Our goals came from striker Bela Meszaros after nine minutes and a fifty sixth minute Cameron Paterson strike but we suffered our third league defeat of the campaign.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/qR1EtXAMUWXalqWmJMm8dxWYl10J0xWHwuCIsHJ5.jpg

That league defeat and our third of the campaign hasn't done too much damage as the side still remain twenty two points clear of the second placed side and that's now Hamilton. Eighty three goals have been scored in twenty four games while forty one goals have been conceded.
