I'm hoping change does happen because it's been a poor first half to the league season Dan, far too inconsistent.

We're supposed to be 'walking the league' though SBR, not struggling down in fourth place.

Wiener Neustadt: February 2029

Hello all and welcome to the first competitive month of twenty twenty nine as we look to FINALLY find some sort of consistency in the league as we are expected to win it, remember? Two league games awaited us on our return to competitive action.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/CSiA2BNGuwZAnw4DJFcWBKqbuLpz6zAY3TbTj4TW.jpg

It would be a promising return to league action as we'd win both games in February. Our first game back took us to Austria Salzburg and the side recorded a 3-1 win but we needed to score twice inside the final fifteen minutes to ensure the points - Jannik Kempter, Marcel Meixner (pen) and Ronny Huber were on target.

The final game of the month came three days later as we won a nine goal thriller 6-3 at home to Grodig in a game that saw star winger Aleksander Husic bag a treble while Jurgen Schumann, Ronny Huber and Grzegorz Mezyk also scored in the win.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/mRYUYjOVWO6DNKSaQabo1d2Cty316pveQdZeHxhP.jpg

The league table has changed 'drastically' following those two wins as we've now moved into second place and are only behind leaders Kapfenberger on goal difference and I believe we play them within the next month or two but they've also got a game in hand so can still open a three point gap.

Hope we can SBR, it's going to be difficult though. Cheers.

Wiener Neustadt: March 2029

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/edunLVfOmIcGztYUdJsBxDSewnOUxP9GiWNMxyv2.png

It has been a promising start on our return to competitive action in the first division with back-to-back victories against Austria Salzburg and Grodig as we look to find some sort of consistency in an attempt to secure the league title, March is a busy month though as we have six league games to plough through.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/NsSc7vh8IjVoiRbhfk2UrLecJC6y4y4OyXobmFYh.jpg

It would be a 'big game' against Kapfenberger that would begin the month and we moved to the first division summit following a hard fought 4-3 win away from home as our four goals came in the second half - Aleksander Husic, Grzegorz Mezyk 2 and an own goal from Stefan Peric sealed the win.

We would then record back-to-back victories as Hohenems were beaten three one at Stadion Wiener Neustadt, defender Levin Miniotto struck after only four minutes before a second half double from Grzegorz Mezyk ensured maximum points.

They could then only manage a draw away to St. Polten, Tom Killen rescuing a point in second half stoppage time.

Seven days later Wiener Neustadt travelled to LASK Linz and suffered a disappointing three one defeat as central midfielder Andreas Wartinger scored our consolation goal with four minutes remaining.

It would be back-to-back defeats as Wolfsberger won four one at our place much to my disapproval - Marcel Meixner netting on thirty one minutes.

March would then conclude with a four two victory on the road against Leoben as it was important that the side bounced back with a win. Attacking midfielder Ronny Huber scored twice in the first half, Mike Rosler also scoredf in the opening forty five minutes before Johannes Kreuzwegerer added our fourth in second half stoppage time.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/B2PWUiFSiJ6jGapVGFcEs5IYDamBDieU85c9B96E.jpg

Annoyingly that blip during the month that saw us go three games without a win has yet again cost us as the inconsistency remains but we only trail the leaders Kapfenberger by two points so we'll right in the mix with only nine league games remaining.

The inconsistency is going to cost me in the end SBR, that's probably guaranteed but it's also part of football I suppose.

I've got nine games remaining to find some sort of consistent form in a hope to secure the league title Dan, possible? Probably not.

Wiener Neustadt: April 2029

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/cPXAt96dX4IZjvpCHpvVJJ5RJmfSKyn5BJEdF6eB.png

We have now approached the penultimate month of the twenty twenty eight/twenty twenty nine campaign and with just nine league games remaining, it's important that we find some sort of consistent form in we are to even have a chance to wrap up the league title this season, a league title that was indeed expected pre season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lEiKQafvA2YqE9wdhxzagrFKlfAdqBEo1IN0ss0M.jpg

Inconsistency remained a major problem this month with only the one win from four games and that came in game one as we picked up a 3-1 win away to SPG FC Pasching/LASK jrs. thanks to goals from striker Jannik Kempter, Mike Rosler and Benjamin Weber whose goal three minutes from time sealed the points.

Back-to-back away games took us to Grodig in a game that could only see us manage a two two draw - Philipp Stoglehner and Jannik Kempter scored our goals.

Our first home game of the month saw us face Austria Salzburg but again we failed to pick up maximum points, drawing one one as Jannik Kempter bagged our one and only goal of the game inside the opening quarter of an hour.

The short month then came to an end with a disappointing three one home defeat against Kapfenberger and for the second game running we scored our only goal of the game after thirteen minutes, this time the goal came from right winger Mike Rosler but it's now three games without a win.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/DSiYHG7EX5OL57BXlyCGNuCuwiZzWIyrpneVYEci.jpg

I don't know whether to rule ourselves out of the title picture due to our inconsistent form but we are six points adrift of the league leaders with five games remaining, except for Grodig who face Wolfsberger in their game in hand. Conceding sixty three goals, being predicted to win the league, is unacceptable and we deserve our failure.

BREAKING NEWS: It seems the board are beginning to lose patience with me and can you blame them? We are fourth and that's unacceptable and I was summonsed to an 'emergency' board meeting, I managed to squirm my way out of it but I've to now pick up ten points from our remaining five league fixtures or I'll be sacked.

The meeting came a day or two after that home defeat to Kapfenberger, stating it was something like 'unacceptable'.

Wiener Neustadt: May 2029

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/e1QurcOuWpgrDaZISOhcaSCe2vXElkKMbdJofpPq.png

The pressure was officially on me, I needed to pick up minimum of ten points from our remaining five league fixtures or I'd end up getting the chop and that would be harmful for my reputation as a Football Manager. The chances of winning the league have gone, all I need to do is ensure we have a good final month.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Q25OJlNnoFFJf4yBVvYmbwWp5oCPx4lEWuvqg6bT.jpg

The final month of the campaign started with a trip to Hohenems as we recorded a hard fought three goals to two victory as Levin Miniotto, Mahir Duric and Aleksander Husic all found the net.

We'd then make the trip to Wolfsberger for back-to-back away games as the side then recorded a four two victory as our four goals arrived inside the opening thirty six minutes - Leonhard Grobl, Jannik Kempter, Ronny Huber and Marcel Meixner (pen) scored as we ensured our second away win this month from two.

Our first of three straight home games saw us welcome St. Polten to the Stadion Wiener Neustadt as we recorded a 2-0 victory, two goals in the space of as many minutes in the first half from Jannik Kempter and Ronny Huber was enough for the points.

A ninth minute goal was Aleksander Husic was enough for a single goal home victory over LASK Linz.

And the league season would then conclude with a 4-2 home win over Leoben as I managed to avoid the chop...for now at least. Striker Jannik Kempter scored twice while Ronny Huber and Marcel Meixner both scored in between Kempter's double.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/c3K7JdINOXQSY7pCzX3BtTu4cUKym2L9UPaArIyO.jpg

With the league season officially completed, it would be a trophy-less season in my managerial career for the first time in I don't know how long as Kapfenberger sealed the league and we also failed in the Austrian Cup but that trophy wasn't important. The third place finish ensured it was a dismal season for the club.

Wiener Neustadt: Pre season news

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/BAI4Ys78T5z11ztLejAlTig2xZb6OWOr0w6OScme.png

After somehow managing to avoid the sack last season at Wiener Neustadt, I needed to ensure we had a better campaign this time around as once again we are predicted to win the league, which I feel is surprising because I thought recently relegated Austria Lustenau would have been favourites but they're not.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/C6SgiQpdSqysH6PcujQ1fYMfINbtHA2PIP3bIZHK.jpg

Just the one option was available in the seasonal expectations and that was the winner option so the pressure is yet again on me. I have been given a transfer budget of five and a half million but don't know how much of that I'll use as I don't want to 'disrupt' the squad but of course signings will be needed.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/M6DZAEZefpJnHzmukRfsVwlER4hwOqtpFqUQ5NvF.jpg

Six games have been announced as part of our pre season program, two of them being at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt and they'll be the games against Leon and Slovan Bratislava. The side will also travel to Kosice, Ceska Budejovice, Libourne and Stienbrunn.

I'm still not off the hook though despite the perfect end to last season, once again I was summonsed to an 'emergency' board meeting and once again I managed to survive but again, I need to pick up a minimum of ten points from the opening five league games or I've been threatened with the chop...again.

Wiener Neustadt: Pre season round-up

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/wKWg9PwHQFW3SZqBEVLW7q9WXFEgVTRKSf1jvNtU.png

After managing to avoid the sack at the business end of last season the pressure remained on me as once again not only were my Wiener Neustadt side predicted to win the league but I once again needed to secure a minimum of ten points from our first five league fixtures or be sacked. Fair? Not really since I had achieved it already, achievable? Sure.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/JDTPdI96cbHSlG8AbIxaBgRivsiI2u9E2FOXngAv.jpg

In an attempt to try and win the league this season, five players have joined the club this summer with three of them being loan deals. Central defender Markus Schneider arrived on a season long deal from Salzburg, left back Christian Evers from Rapid Wien and Lennart Saalbach from Austria Wien although he's not really good enough, he was a 'panic loan'. The two free signings were attacking midfielder Mehmet Zeki Ozden and Spanish striker Victor Manuel Alcazar who has agreed a pre contract from Real Madrid's 'C' team.

There was just the one 'major' departure this summer and that was Serbian left back Mahir Duric who joined Premier Division side Mattersburg for half a million pound, Manfred Rose went to Leoben on loan while I finally got rid of Croatian right back Tomislav Rodic as he completed a permanent switch to Hohenems. The other five players left when their contracts had expired although I was disappointed to have lost youngster Volker Reib but he wouldn't sign a new deal.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/FZ6Np5XC8IUksulIEUq7XV6HbRWIgvbt6fC04SdQ.jpg

Couldn't be upset with how the friendlies went on the pitch as we secured four wins from five games, losing just the once and that was away to Ceske Budejovice but we did defeat Leon, Kosice, Slovan Bratislava and Libourne while the other friendly game was cancelled due to our first round Austrian Cup game.

With the pressure on me from the get go and needing to pick up a minimum ten points from the opening five league game, it was time for the twenty twenty nine/twenty thirty competitive campaign begin with three league games and an Austrian Cup first round tie and that's the game, as usual, that'll start the season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/YYvyQm8wwY1weyIjDkh1mqeIZc7vBE3mDAkIQ6ds.jpg

The side eased into the second round of the Austrian Cup after beating non league side Austria Klagenfurt 5-1 away from home - Chris Hartmann, Leonhard Grobl two, Aleksander Husic and Marcel Meixner scored as the side advanced.

The league season started with a disappointing one all draw at home to Grodig - Mehmet Zeki Ozden scoring on twenty two minutes.

Just four days later Wiener Neustadt made the trip to recently relegated Austria Lustenau and slipped to a three one defeat, our only goal coming from Spanish striker Victor Manuel Alcazar after twenty eight minutes, but that defeat didn't help me trying to avoid the sack.

A home fixture against newly promoted Seekirchen saw us record our first league victory of the season, 3-0 as Aleksander Husic broke the deadlock on thirty four minutes before Ronny Huber scored in either half to seal the points.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/kxnIpl4jz5brDxEt6ZykLmxwohW20VDmyuZOB2uO.jpg

To say it's been a mixed start to the campaign is an understatement as we've won one, drew one and lost one from our opening three fixtures and have only scored five league goals in those three games but I'm sure, if I can avoid the sack...again then the goals will fly in when the new signing settle.

The pressure remains on! Unless I manage to win the first two games this month against Horn and Austria Salzburg then I will be heading to the Job Centre in an attempt to find my next 'port of call' but you have to be confident, yes? If I can avoid the chop then I'll have six league games to contain with this month.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/NkH56cNfGCBL6ZQH6Z4iDLb67BxSWD4yDXQQp2VL.jpg

And survive the chop I did...again. We started the month with a well deserved 4-0 hammering away to Horn as central midfielder Marcel Meixner converted two penalties, Aleksander Husic and Victor Manuel Alcazar also found the net on the road.

We would make the trip to Austria Salzburg for back-to-back away games and as we secured a three nil victory it meant I survived and was no longer under pressure, for now at least - Victor Manuel Alcazar, Leonhard Grobl and Aleksander Husic scored the goals in Salzburg.

Our first home game of the month was against LASK Linz and we secured a 5-2 victory at Stadion Wiener Neustadt with Aleksander Husic netting twice while Ronny Huber, Victor Manuel Alcazar and Mehmet Zeki Ozden all scored in between the Husic double.

The side then defeated Hohenems two nil, Aleksander Husic bagging a second half double.

It would then be back-to-back clean sheets as Leoben were beaten three nil in back-to-back home games, this time Victor Manuel Alcazar was the man to hit a double as he scored after forty two and sixty four minutes while it was Aleksander Husic who broke the deadlock on twenty two minutes.

The month ended with a 3-2 success away to Wolfsberger as our three goals arrived in the opening half - striker Victor Manuel Alcazar, striker Jannik Kempter and winger Aleksander Husic the difference makers in the end.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/sheD48bgeSXfTDoCT4GW2yvK9ELTZytQpCJpYg1G.jpg

The perfect month has seen me climb the league table and now up to the summit of the Austrian First Division and also two points clear of relegated Austria Lustenau as the goals continue to fly with twenty five scored in the opening nine games and just the eight conceded.

With me no longer under pressure....for the time being at least, I could start to enjoy the season ahead without wondering if I'd get the chop and with an excellent month of August behind that saw us climb to the First Division table, September would see us play three more league games and an Austrian Cup second round tie.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/RJMldyQ3MdfBPqcZVRjN34EmO5ld0HS37f8BvE2P.jpg

Grodig away would start the month of September and we'd start the month with a 3-1 away victory thanks to the trio of goals arriving inside the final thirty three minutes. Marcel Meixner from the spot, Victor Manuel Alcazar and Aleksander Husic scored our goals.

It would then be the same scoreline as Austria Lustenau were beaten at Stadion Wiener Neustadt - Victor Manuel Alcazar, Markus Schneider and Marcel Meixner pen were the goalscorers in this home victory.

A tough trip to Wacker Innsbruck awaited us in the second round of the Austrian Cup and a stunning performance saw us progress to round three after a 5-2 victory thanks to goals from Mike Rosler, Aleksander Husic 2, Mehmet Zeki Ozden and Victor Manuel Alcazar.

The month concluded though with a disappointing three one defeat away to Seekirchen, Mike Rosler scoring our consolation goal on fifty three minutes.

So far it has been a good season to date, not only are we going strong in the league which is a welcome change compared to last season but we still remain in the Austrian Cup and while that's not important as I've already won it, it remains nice. We enter the penultimate month before the winter break with three league games and one in the cup.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/08ULgy1hNEl1dMczIVpmnhs8VpeE9rA0dwb5i8Be.jpg

A trip to LASK Linz kicked off the penultimate month before the winter break as we eased to a 3-1 victory thanks to goals from Leonhard Grobl, Markus Schneider and Lennart Baier and that was enough to seal what could prove to be a 'big' win against our fellow promotion candidates.

We then had to wait a fortnight for our next game but that didn't bother us as Horn were beaten three nil at Stadion Wiener Neustadt - Marcel Meixner, Ronny Huber and Leonhard Grobl got on the score sheet.

It was then back-to-back clean sheets in back-to-back league games as Austria Salzburg were beaten 2-0 in the First Division thanks to second half goals from striker Jannik Kempter and Markus Schneider to maintain our good season to date.

October then came to an end with progression in the Austrian Cup as fellow league side Leoben were beaten three goals to two at home, a first half hat trick from striker Jannik Kempter was enough for progression.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ZmLLc7mwGzPrgQP5sk49vP8Co8fEkNnkVEoXk0NC.jpg

Slowly but surely the gap at the top of the First Division table is getting bigger as we now lead the new second placed team Grodig by seven points but that's still not enough for me to get 'carried away', I'm pleased that we haven't conceded that many goals as only fourteen goals in fifteen games [so far] have been shipped while forty have been scored in the other end.

We have approached the penultimate month of twenty twenty nine and so far it has been a remarkable campaign to date as we find ourselves sitting seven points clear at the top of the First Division table and still in the Austrian Cup, four league games were remaining before the 'traditional' winter break here.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/88XB1fZLJwh6nTltPlKt6JqgMjtTat4ru6OaCKqu.jpg

A trip to Hohenems saw us begin the penultimate month of the calendar year as we recorded a hard fought 2-1 victory, a second half double from star winger Aleksander Husic was the difference maker on the road as we secured maximum points at the mid-table side.

Goals from Chris Hartmann, Leonhard Grobl and Victor Manuel Alcazar saw us seal a straight forward and convincing three nil victory away to Leoben in back-to-back away games.

We then faced Wolfsberger in our first home game of the month and a late, late goal from substitute Johnny Bechmann saw us record a 2-1 victory, our first goal arrived five minute before half time through central defender Philipp Stoglehner.

The final game before the winter break saw us ease to a 2-0 victory over Grodig at Stadion Wiener Neustadt, a second half double from right winger Leonhard Grobl the difference.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/mOXLKOcrEfXYnd4ivMAiIgg1kg0oKmIECyYm52IW.jpg

We will head into the winter break with a thirteen point lead at the summit of the First Division table and even I can't mess that lead up but I suppose we'll see what happens when we resume our league action in March but so far it's looking good.

Wiener Neustadt: March 2030

It's the first time I've got a chance to wish my followers a "Happy New Year" even though we're entering the third month of the calendar year but we have entered the year twenty thirty and I'm still going strong in Football Management. We returned to competitive action with six league games awaiting us.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/sOLCIgwvWJredQ2SQB2d61dkJLh3sRjMlu2u75Mg.jpg

It was a horrible return to league action as Austria Lustenau beat us five goals to two away from home as our two consolation goals came either side of half time from winger Leonhard Grobl and central midfielder Jurgen Schumann.

We managed to bounce back four days later with a 3-1 victory at home to Seekirchen as my Wiener side struck the three goals in the first half - Spanish striker Victor Manuel Alcazar scored a double inside the opening twenty one minutes while on loan left back Christian Evers added a third goal with five first half minutes remaining.

Three days later a trip to Horn awaited us as we made it back-to-back victories following a four one win as the four goals came inside the final twenty six minutes. Jurgen Schumann, Victor Manuel Alcazar 2 and a penalty from Lennart Baier all found the net.

It was then three wins on the bounce as LASK Linz were demolished 6-1 at Stadion Wiener Neustadt as four of the six goals arrived in the first half through Victor Manuel Alcazar, Ronny Huber, Levin Miniotto and Mehmet Zeki Ozden while Chris Hartmann added our fifth on fifty six minutes and Alcazar's second made it half a dozen with the game entering stoppage time.

Our one and only clean sheet of the month came in the away trip to Austria Salzburg as the side recorded a 4-0 success with the four goals arriving in a fourteen minute period. Leonhard Grobl broke the deadlock on the hour, substitute Jannik Kempter then struck two goals in as many minutes before Mehmet Zeki Ozden completed the one sided second half with a fourth on seventy six minutes.

The month ended with a disappointing one one draw at home to Hohenems, Leonhard Grobl scored our goal on fifty six minutes.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vwZnlRkpm7DeQG79i0m0Y4YRFd8TtZTYQvyYToWx.jpg

Even though we haven't been crowned champions, I'm going out on a limb and state that it's our league title to lose as we lead second placed Grodig by a substantial eighteen points and it's been a good season on the scoring front so far as sixty nine goals have been scored and twenty five conceded in as many games.
