FC A.K. - November 2061

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4zR05LRmWXBCdSAu6EpGuCnSUlciWNFHT2sY5Mk8.png

The penultimate month of the calender year as 2061 is about to fade away behind us, we look to continue our superb form which we took into the month. Having previously played nine and won nine I was hoping our form would stay along that path however knew it would be difficult. Accidently played a game into December as well...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/13LdRNZXtCV0t3kejGJTEL64duBw6LTcD67E4IWJ.png

A superb month once again, we finally fall to our first defeat of the season as we drop points away at Highlanders Park. We finally beat Royal Eagles, seventh time of asking if I remember correctly, two other wins to add to that to and another clean sheet.

We welcomed Witbank Spurs to kick off the month and beat them two nil, our only clean sheet of this month. Both our goals came in the second half with Majiet and Boseeka netting for us.

A trip to Ga-Rankuwa United saw us win two one. We led two nil at the break with goals from Maseko and then Kgoadi. The host netted a spot kick in the second half.

A trip to Highlanders Park is where our run came to an end and we were finally beaten. Despite going one nil down, we thought back to lead two one with Kgoadi then an own goal sending us infront after twenty minutes. We went on to blow that however and lose four two.

Finally a win over Royal Eagles, seventh time of asking as we welcomed them and won four one! Goals from both Maseko' as well as Vaz and Phakathi helped us on our way to an easy win.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/aFcCCEDh8o9HqBtf176SkR0iZnqSL3OxrwgOsdzA.png

Well, thirteen games played now and just two short of the halfway stage in the competition and we are still looking and going very strong at the top of the pile. We currently sit seven points clear of second place Jomo Cosmos and with us a month away from heading into the New Year, I'm just hoping we can hold it now.

FC A.K. - December 2061

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4zR05LRmWXBCdSAu6EpGuCnSUlciWNFHT2sY5Mk8.png

And so the final month of the 2061 calender year was here and upon us and its been a pretty successful year in all. Finished last season miles above our prediction and just missed out on promotion via the playoffs...for a third season running but now we are flying in the league and looking to keep that run going.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PqnxFst3fOvDveywH8I8gF9xU43MGqd6yNTuGTc9.png

Obviously we have already beaten Royal Eagles at the start of December and here we have maintained that form we've produced throughout the first half of the season to pick up another win and a draw in the league as well as advancing out of the Preliminary round of the Nedbank Cup with ease.

A trip to Vasco CT saw us narrowly win thanks to Maseko netting after twenty eight minutes.

We then took the trip to Atile FC in the Nedbank Cup Preliminary Round where we won three one. Our goals came from Khambule who netted from a spot kick, Tsodzo and Maseko.

Whilst we finished the month with a trip to Chippa Untied, rounding up the calender year with a one all draw. Maseko netted after two minutes however it finished level.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/SeGnIT417UosvUBJy3OyrDj0dXwSBOVYwE8oxXZp.png

Halfway through the league season, fifteen games played and fifteen to go and its looking rosey for us so far this season. We sit top and clear by seven points still and hopefully can hold onto that lead if not extend it further.

FC A.K. - January 2062

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4zR05LRmWXBCdSAu6EpGuCnSUlciWNFHT2sY5Mk8.png

Happy New Year, 2062 is here for us and we are currently top of the pile and dominating the league, beginning to open up at gap as well, we just needed to continue plowing on. With January here we faced another four games and looked to continue that kind of form.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/EgaMySPxlAeHCsCTrREHA9BB0V1a2dbad0nMKRhY.png

Here we go, four games to see in the New Year and for another month we've managed to stay unbeaten throughout it. Picking up three wins and a draw over the four games, it was a draw to kick off the month before we won back to back games to nil and then beat Roses United at the end of the month.

We welcomed African Warriors and had to settle for a point in the opening game of the New Year, Maseko netting that goal for us to earn a one all draw netting in the second half.

We travelled to Jomo Cosmos and put more distance between us with a comfortable three nil win here. Tsodzo netted just before the break whilst both Maseko' netted in the second half, taking us to an easy victory.

A bigger win came as we returned home and welcomed Dynamos, winning four nil. maseko netted a hatrick taking his tally to five goals in three games for the calender year, Tsodzo also on the scoresheet.

Finally Roses United welcomed us and we beat them three one. Khambule netted early on whilst Oscarine made it two nil before the break. Maseko made it three before we went on to concede one.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/mGRMM8A8Dkfy2KuS8lcZchgmmK5Owzsk1CQvFcDr.png

Twelve points clear, eleven games to go this season, if we can hold on now and continue to open the gap at the top of the pile then its ours for the taking.

FC A.K. - February 2062

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4zR05LRmWXBCdSAu6EpGuCnSUlciWNFHT2sY5Mk8.png

A good, strong start to the new Year and now it was about maintaining it and extending the gap at the top, well, that was the plan anyway, into February we went and we faced three more league games as well as the First Round of the Nedbank Cup, searching a way through another cup run.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/wgvvCIoaOb0RxjAgTWYdQiF2CFZJI9tF9Eg4oCtC.png

A mixed month of results in fairness, not quite the consistency we've had throughout the months of this season thats for sure. However it was only one defeat, and we've started the cup run once again.

We welcomed Golden Arrows for the first of two times this month we beat them five one here, easily! Tsodzo netted twice whilst Boseeka and Maseko also found the net along with an own goal, securing a dominant win.

A trip to FC Cape Town saw us lose out one nil.

We then welcomed Golden Arrows again, winning one nil here in the Nedbank Cup First Round, Kgoadi netting an injury time winner.

A boring goalless draw ended the month with Atlie.

http://i.imgur.com/aYdQvSu.png?1

Lead at the top is down to ten points but with just eight games left to play this season, I'm hoping we aren't about to slip up completely now and we are going to see out this gap at the top, we've worked too hard to throw it away now!

FC A.K. - March 2062

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4zR05LRmWXBCdSAu6EpGuCnSUlciWNFHT2sY5Mk8.png

The penultimate full month of action this season was here, March gave us a challenging month with three more league games left to play as well as the cup game as we continued to try and advance in the competition and try to make the Quarter Finals for a fourth year running.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/84R5ZzZ8FxE0l6R4svvgIxVyWM8fMo5ojKpzobyU.png

An awful month and it was crunch time as well, we really needed to produce a strong month to put the doubters behind us, instead we've won just one of four games throughout March, picking up four points form a possible nine in the league as well as crashing out the Nedbank Cup Second Round, hopefully that allows us to focus on the league in the final month.

A trip to Black Leopards proved tricky as always. Maseko netted twice for us but we still fell to a three two defeat and a big three points dropped.

The one game we did win was welcoming Thanda Royal Zulu who we beat six two. Phakathi netted a brace from the penalty spot. Khambule also had a brace whilst Kgoadi and Vaz netted within two minutes of each other late on.

We welcomed Amazulu in the Nedbank Cup Second Round and lost two one, crashing out the competition. Khambule netted our consolation three minutes from time.

A trip to Witbank Spurs saw us draw one a piece. Maseko put us ahead before the break however when we conceded in the second half we slipped to take just a point.

http://i.imgur.com/a0seztS.png?1

Our leads been cut again! Five games to go and we now sit just five points clear! In the last couple of months we've blown five points of our lead at the top and now begin to panic as the other teams around us close us down. Hopefully we won't blow this, we are at least in the playoffs come the end of the season.

FC A.K. - April 2062

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4zR05LRmWXBCdSAu6EpGuCnSUlciWNFHT2sY5Mk8.png

The final full month of league action was here as we set ourselves up to face four of our final five league games, we didn't have the best months in March and ending it without a win in our final two put pressure on us going in to April. However we did still have a comfortable five point gap at the top of the table. A couple wins this month and the league title and promotion would finally be ours, fourth time of asking...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/sDgEZ9VTqMDd8dgGLJCHm2e4m8684H2injy19uwI.png

What on earth is happening! A winless month! Without a win in six now! And doing out best at blowing away the chance of scooping this league title now! We've battled through a horrible April and picked up just two points from a possible twelve!?

We welcomed Ga-Rankuwa United and lost out three one. Maseko netted our goal when we were one nil down. However we went on to concede twice in the second half and lose out three one.

Welcoming Highlands Park we only managed a draw and probably deserved to lose that. Tsodzo was the man to save our bacon as he netted in the final minute of normal time.

We returned to our normal selves against Royal Eagles and by that I mean failing to beat them for the seventh time in eight games. We trailed two nil until nineteen minutes left to play. Boseeka then netted whilst Mogale saved us once again, a goal in injury time.

Finally welcoming Vasco CT we fell to a three one defeat after Tsodzo gave us the lead in the twelfth minute, but what does all this do to the league title...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/1MigpgfYpKz8ddWqHxtO7uSN8aQkkNZHxcPKxi0M.png

Not even sure how we've managed it, but we remain top despite not winning a game in our last six, however we have managed to blow a twelve point lead! Its horrendous to think that at the end of January we sat twelve points clear of Jomo Cosmos, now going into the final game we sit clear by goal difference alone. We face African Warriors away from home in the final league games whilst Jomo Cosmos welcome Witbank Spurs...

FC A.K. - May 2062

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4zR05LRmWXBCdSAu6EpGuCnSUlciWNFHT2sY5Mk8.png

In a season that started so confidently its all fallen to pieces as of late as we've blown a massive twelve point lead since the end of January and now sit top with one game to go, simply by goal difference! We now need to better Jomo Cosmos' result and we will remain on top and claim the league title fourth time of asking, lets see how the final game panned out...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ggi0R9klcUW0QORm4j98k3XPHiCaG4Mw4XYShSmm.png

We travelled to African Warriors and finished the league season without a win in seven games as we drew one all infront of one hundred and forty eight fans to end the season on a sour note. We were ahead after eight minutes as Tsodzo netted for us. But conceding in the eighty fifth minute cost us two points.

But, what did Jomo Cosmos do in their final game...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/BzU8gVce3V99QV8k097tcLYOBCMo2OqIdHr2050T.png

We've done it! We are out the National First Division fourth time of asking!! Jomo Cosmos only drew as well, leaving us at the top and claiming the league title on goal difference, that doesn't matter though, we are finally going up! Jomo Cosmos and Thanda Royal Zulu will battle it out in the Mini League playoffs.

As Most of you have probably guessed it have hit a slight wall.of motivation on this save now. However whilst thinking about a new save I'm wondering if I can salvage this one, I was looking to do a bottom to top challenge but figured I may switch to Italy, France, Germany or even back to England and could incorporate back into this save, what are your thoughts?

Sometimes you don't need to completely kill off the save but just take a slight sabbatical from it to try and reclaim motivation, I'm a bit gutted that you couldn't seemingly continue with FC A.K. (unless you can) following the long awaited promotion to the Premiership.

Yes you were beaten there before (twice?) but what about another crack at managing in Italy?

Okay then, just a quick post to keep you all in the loop of whats going on, the date is the 18th July 2062 and I've just resigned from my post at F.C.A.K.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/IIwQHIbzM3a7beQCIXFOQ6yLEU7QbNGVA7HYjr8a.png

This proved to be my longest job to date over the forty eight seasons I've played through. I stayed at FC A.K. for one thousand, four hundred and fifty three day four seasons I believe and only scooped one trophy in my time here in South Africa after falling short in the playoffs thre years running. The stats speak for themselves.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/bDXCJssJ8kU514a3nEHqV8sJxDMsUGKApaM851FL.png

Unfortunately I missed the ad/remove date for this season but I couldn't continue playing, so I've decided I will holiday through the net season before South Africa fades out and my new home for a long period, hopefully, Germany, becomes playable.

A Move To A 1. Bundesliga + DFB-Polka Winning Side...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/fo9s5k32ibWZ1LDaDk6C0KyCmGcRyqD4hDbEwQHc.png

So, after a year out of the working life I arrived in Germany hoping to get off on the right foot, it was my first visit to Germany and with any luck, if I can pull off the 'hero challenge' here it will be my only visit to Germany in what will prove to be a lengthy stay over the years. Now I've moved to a former 1. Bundesliga and DFB Polka winning side, but who, you already know I'm heading down to the bottom playable tier...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3yCdYaEWvfvwMkeRiRGlJLZj0Q5MTHhuJmkkVjtG.png

Here is the not so glamorous nor bulging trophy cabinet however there are the two big trophies standing out here. A 1. Bundesliga title dating back to 1955 as well as a DFB-Pokal dating back to 1953. Since then, its a club who haven't really basked in the silverware over the last one hudnred years to say the least. Any ideas yet..

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/2pWT7Sgvlj088XkEDMnPlr0wWsORa0WJ7UiZJI8l.png

Strong finances for a club sitting in the bottom playable tier in Germany. Almost one and a half million pounds in the balance which is superb, also there is a massive nineteen thousand pounds spare in the wages, giving me plenty of room in the transfer window to improve the squad, however it'll be on free transfers.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/EsHLRCZCrzjyvSpoyXmlbaii9pa0wQmgMnKkcMOQ.png

A massive staff room, definitely one to be proud of, right? I've got a lot of work to do here before I even consider bringing players into the squad, we need everything from assistants to physios to scouts to coaches! Its going to be a fun, building summer!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/AKO6aeiicwEWurA2neLffLMzKhoZpqeXJmcn1buD.png

Heres the squad, not much point me showing you this, I don't know what the players are like or how good they are, I'll update you more after pre season once I've spoke with the assistant manager and done some summer dealings!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/cBQ5snvm1pCsKGnswvgO0CBBTXcALpEfftj2Olt7.png

Anyway, here is the squad I've picked up, former Bundesliga and DFB-Polka winning side...RW Essen. Sure it'll be a fun, long save, right?

RW Essen - Pre Season 2063

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/jqmYq1XLiylFlJ1OdN8F0sfZczpkUwvX8RhhSO8h.png

Well I had around three weeks to sort the team out before the season was set to kick off, not long at all! It wouldn't be easy building this team up with no staff and barely any players in the squad on the day I took charge. A side that has one the top tier and league cup in their time now sat in the bottom division here, I hoped to change all this.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/zo5kQn3CyXXGLDJyYDpYr27dvCjPK4gvxA9iTdFK.png

First things first I brought in a load of staff members to hopefully help build the club up, they range in their reputation and how good they'll be for us, but I needed staff on board and now I've got that, I'll probably continue to expand my backroom as we go through the season and hopefully build to a stronger club.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/HavLKQtFiM2QMz8VRLpq6pcljqSvNUUqC94zMCEj.png

After raiding the free transfer list this is the squad I now possess, not sure how well we are going to do, we are predicted to finish mid table and its what the board also expects of us, but it may be difficult. There are a couple of stand out players in the squad for sure but I still think it could prove to be a very long and tricky season for us.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ad36bWk948n6mdnt3wCEjFIsXfJCnen3c5PfjPWI.png

Barely dented our finances, thats what I like to see, least we are strong in that department! We also faced three friendlies, losing all three.
