How much does anyone wanna bet that Cesc gets booked within the next two games just so he doesn't have to play against us away

I bet he'll get 'injured' if he doesn't, like he did for all the games he didn't want to play in when he played for you.

Why does Sherwood keep telling everyone how he was so good at Spurs and that he was a success? I like the bloke but he was in no way a success, he wasn't really any better than AVB, just he gave us a more entertaining style of football to watch.

Well he was single-handedly responsible for Harry Kane's rise to stardom. That sounds pretty successful to me.

Somebody's got to stand up for him, it's not like he's comfortable doing it himself.

No he's a sarcasm salesman

That's closer to the truth.

What a load of shit. Don't understand why Yedlin hasn't played yet. We sign him as backup to Walker, Walker gets injured and then we play the awful Chiriches. Also please can we release Fazio as soon as possible.

Haha, Sunderland 0-4 Palace.

Really hope Sunderland go down.

Jesus wept. Last week we treated Sunderland like they were Barcelona while using Pardew's old defensive tactics, then he goes them and fucking hammers them.

Still, least it keeps them as human shields to the inevitable surge from one of the bottom 3.

Pardew wasn't defensive though. His inclination is normally to put on another striker rather than a defender.

Anyway can't believe Sunderland were all on the piss again.

Leicester leading at WBA with a 92nd minute goal.

If they hold out that puts the cat amongst the pigeons.

Great wins for Villa and Leicester. Villa will stay up while Leicester are giving themselves a chance, though they need a few more heroic performances like today yet. Amazed at West Brom conceding 7 in two home games v QPR and Leicester, most unlike a Pulis team. Although I do remember his Stoke teams tailing off towards the end of almost every PL season once safety had been virtually secured.

Hull are in trouble and have a tough run-in. Sunderland are awful but credit to Palace.

I think (and hope) Burnley will lose today but they can at least say they're in with a chance of staying up despite having spent pretty much nothing, unlike Hull, Sunderland and QPR who have spent wasted loads yet are just as dire as beforehand.

I don't feel very assured. We do have the potential to lose all our games and end the season on the wrong side of the bottom 3. But in all reality we'll probably scrape a few draws.

Predicting anything is going to be problematic. Most people I'm guessing predicted WBA to beat Leicester today. They needed it given that they have a painful looking run-in, and if they lose at Palace next week they'll be in bigger danger. Hull and Sunderland also have painful run-ins. Sunderland v Leicester on the second-to-last weekend of the season is looking like a pretty massive game.

Burnley staying up after spending relatively shit all would be an impressive achievement. QPR did spunk cash on wastes of time, sure, but if Chris Ramsey keeps them up in his first managerial job and after his early poor form, he's done very well.

Also kinda ironic he could well have put the final nail into that remote chance Arsenal had.

Could've? He has. We could smash you's 7-0 and you'd still be nailed on

Not getting too ahead of myself yet, anything could happen over the next couple of games.

I think we'll win at the Emirates, but you'll beat United. Only tough game after that for Chelsea is Leicester away whose troubled most top sides who've gone there including ourselves.

It's a shame we started the season so poorly, the League was essentially won in September.
