I´ve got a question: All smaller packs on http://sortitoutsi.net/forums/topic/363/facepacks-release-thread?page=106 and before May 25 (Åtvidabergs FF and above) are they in the 7.06 Megapack and the rest will be in the update named 7.07?

I don't recall the exact cut-off date for images added to 7.06 - but it's usually a day at most before release. Either way, all the images released in that thread, and elsewhere, are included in the update packs following it

Mons there was a talk that the source picture of Frechaut was old, it's probably reason why it didn't made it into MP update

As I remember the first criteria of choice is image quality. In this case the diference is just uncomparable, and it isn't like we are talking about a 60y old guy with a 20y pic. But is not my job to decide so apply the criteria as you prefer

Yes, but replacing a recent cut-out with an image which is 13 years old makes little sense (Frechaut's only participation at an international competition was at World Cup 2002 - which is where that source is from).

Though not as good quality, this image is slightly more recent, in case somebody wants to try and cut it...

May I submit the following pic of Frechaut from 2013? I would post this in the improvement thread...
(but I would probably get shouted at by Baja for exceeded my request limit)

Anyway, this improv was also left out of the MP:

After some amateur sleuting, the reason behind its exclusion was for the exact same reason as the Frechaut cut.

The above cut is of Ednilson. It is from a larger version of this source. According to all the sources I managed to find, Ednilson only played for Portugal up to U-21 level (and then swapped over to Guinea-Bissau) and until 2003, which means that the source from which that cut-out is produced is at least 12 years old.

The current image in the megapack may be old, but at least it's more recent. It's cut from a bigger version of this image, which is of the guy when he was at Partizan - in 2008. It's 7 years old but it's more recent and not that bad a cut to justify replacing it with a source which is 5 years older. The image added in 6.03 is even older than the one posted above, of when he was still at Roma (from this source). He left Roma in 2001, so it means that image is at least 14 years old, which is why the Partizan cut was then put back in.

In short, that cut is of a much older image and it doesn't make any sense including it at this point...

I'm very happy to be able to announce the release of update pack 7.07.

This update pack contains 2,178 new and improved images and takes the total MP head count to over 160,000 images, 160,061 to be precise.

There seems to have been a mistake in assigning the wrong image in the 7.01 update pack, but if you download 7.02, it seems to have been corrected. Do make sure you download all the update packs and apply them in chronological order
