FIFA 16 is nearly here.

Released in North America on the 22nd and in Europe on the 24th.

Have to admit I'm pretty excited to get stuck into Ultimate Team this year.

From all the selling of players I got that I didn't want I've been able to buy Shane Long and Danny Ings.

They both have good pace and will cause issues for defences.

Played the 10 hours using EA Access and have to admit I'm really impressed.

Pace doesn't seem to matter as much and you've got to play football when in possession. Finishing is a bit odd, but I think that'll just take some getting use to. Hopefully the full release product is the same because it was really enjoyable.

`Might just be my silver keeper but he seems to be letting in easy goals. Also noticed if your bringing out the keeper and they shoot its harder for them too save. But then I imagine it is in real life

I didn't notice any obvious issues with keepers.

Only complaint I'd have is it seemed shots from Cristiano Ronaldo when on target always went in.

I don't know if it's just a pro clubs issue but any low chat at an angle the goalkeeper always seems to parry which is a problem.

Haven't bought FIFA since buying FIFA 09 (which I didn't play very much) but very tempted to buy this or Pro Evo. Not sure which way to tilt though...

Although PES has improved a lot over last gen, by a lot i mean the margin between last gen and this gen is huge, i still think FIFA reigns supreme, give it a few more years and PES will certainly rival if not knock FIFA off its best football game perch.

Konami are definitely shooting themselves in the foot by releasing it with outdated rosters. Might sound petty, but you'd expect at least that for a 40 quid game.

They're under pressure to get sales, and they seem to be releasing the game about a month ahead of FIFA in hope of getting those sales.

A month? its only a week apart.

Personally the move back to PES will be alot tougher i think because of the licenses that FIFA has, not as easy to go back to a game with North London and Man Blue especially when the gameplay itself is only marginally better. That said i'll probably end up getting both but FIFA first

EA have to much money and the licenses for the main European leagues.

The licences aren't even that much of a problem, yeah it's a hassle but can be fixed with some editing. Which is what I've been doing since I got it, but now that I actually played it I find it terrible. So many passes that just go into a random space to no one, when you lose the ball switching player takes forever so you miss getting the ball back, if you're holding sprint forget about your first touch cause it's just going to bounce off you are just some little things. There's aspects to the game play I do enjoy, but it's not as good as it was hyped up. Animations and collisions are awful imo, presentation compared to Fifa is non-existent. Fair enough not having the licenses I can understand that but the rest of it is really excusable. Outdated rosters, poor game modes (H2H and Ultimate Team seem much better and simpler at the same time), I haven't tried Master League yet but that could be the only saving grace. Really disappointed.

With that in mind, anyone want to buy it on the PS4?
