This time I emulate Michel Sanchez's Girona 4-3-3.
Catalan pride isn't just about Barcelona anymore. This season, Girona FC, the region's second city team, is making waves under coach Michel.

Top of the table alongside Real Madrid, Girona boasts the league's highest scoring offense and only one loss. Winning La Liga would be a story for the ages, eclipsing Leicester City's 2016 miracle.

From humble beginnings with just 200 fans in the 1990s, Girona climbed from the fifth tier to La Liga in 2017. Key to their rise was Pere Guardiola, Pep's brother, who revolutionized the club's development.

Coach Michel, despite past sackings, found stability at Girona. His first season back in La Liga saw a top-10 finish despite losing key players.
Despite comparisons to Pep Guardiola, Michel, Girona's manager, isn't a visionary but a results-oriented leader. He utilizes diverse tactics, inspires players, and focuses on detail, even taking Catalan lessons to connect with fans. His working-class upbringing in Madrid instilled resilience, and his grandmother's advice to "adapt" guides him. Adored by fans, he's even considered "one of our own." While European aspirations exist, his focus remains on present success. Though attractive to bigger clubs, Michel seems content at Girona, with some even seeing him managing Barcelona in the future. Girona's chairman acknowledges Michel's freedom to leave for a dream opportunity, highlighting his immense contribution to the club.
