Is there any reason why many changes to team staff have all been set as First team coach rather than their actual job role.

eg
Sammy Lee to WBA Assistant Manager
Sam Allardyce to WBA Manager
Lee Johnson to Sunderland Manager
Steve Cotterill to Shrewsbury Manager
Glyn Chamberlain to Blackburn as a scout

Although Edin Terzic to Dortmund Interim manager seems to show as chairman

I suspect that these are errors on the part of the staff members that have submitted them, as the changes made by KingRobbo (eg Xisco) have gone through as they should, so this may be a training issue rather than a site functionality issue, but as you can see, some of these issues have gone on since FM21/the new site have been launched

I've had a look and I can't really tell what's going on. Can you explain more the problem you're having?

The changes where it says "The transfer will go through on XXX" are future transfers and look okay. I can't tell what the problem was.

It looks like Mustang and/or Samuel Pahus has 'sorted the problem' by moving him to RB Leipzig now rather than as a future transfer on 1/1/21, however... if you submit the correct details in your site submission, then it only shows that he is currently at RB Salzburg and does not show his future move to RB Leipzig... It is difficult to explain but look at the long list of data submissions for him (or maybe try submitting it yourself too) and you will see the issue

Have all been set as First team coach rather than their actual job role. I can only assume that this also applies to other changes to team staff. Not sure if this is a problem with the site itself, or if these have been inputted incorrectly

Edit - Also (the below seems to indicate that incorrect job roles are a result of them being inputted incorrectly in the editor rather than it being a site issue)

Steve Cotterill to Shrewsbury Manager has not gone through at all
Edin Terzic to Dortmund Interim manager seems to show as chairman
Wayne Rooney to Player Manager of Derby seems to have gone through fine

The new site does not seem to allow for 'Future transfers' to be displayed and inputted correctly.

EG Dominik Szoboszlai transfer from RB Salzburg to RB Leipzig on 1/1/21

Since the data update for FM21 was started, there have ben several submissions which have not been reviewed (not accepted or declined), some of which were made almost a week ago. Is there a problem with the update?

Can you try clearing your cache?

What should happen is, if you remove the text in the club input then it should stay empty and then went you submit it will be described as "X has been released"

If this was not amongst Footygamer's swathe of bug fixes earlier today, can you get back to me so I can add it to the first post?

I cant see that it (unable to remove loans) has been mentioned and it does not appear to be fixed.

Also the 'unable to release player on free transfer' is marked as fixed but still does not seem to be able to be done

The edit by Club Almagros has placed him back on loan at Leeds, he needs his loan to be removed, also the edit still has his wage at 3k/week, which seems very low considering

You have removed his loan and increased his contract length, but you have not increased his wage, he is still getting paid 25K/week in the update

New wage 120K/week

When I complete the team swaps, do I click on save editor data and give it a different name?

I personally select 'export' instead of 'save', and then save it as the same file name as the original (to avoid data conflicts), but you can just save it as you normally would

Hi Is there anyway I can swap Stevenage for Macclesfield in the data update? I tried doing it last night but couldn't find the file to load up on my data editor even though when I load the game up it is able to be used

Yes, its quite simple, in the pre game editor, instead of clicking 'Load Editor Data', instead select 'Import', and then select the relevant data update

Hi, great work on the update and on the extra files. Can I ask if you will also be adding the files to Increase all player ages by a year and reduce their contracts by a year, as you have done in previous years? And if so then do you have any idea when these would be available for us? I don't want to rush or hassle anyone, I am just holding back on starting a new save until these are hopefully available.
