You're right; both the current cutout and the requested source are from 2014. I've uploaded a cutout from the 2018/19 season, the source image quality wasn't great so it might just be an alternative rather than an improvement. @mons

For cases where cropping close to the chin would otherwise leave no collar, this video shows how to easily move the collar upwards.

It's a resized/cropped version of this image. As in my above comment I cut another source (both of them from September 2020 source images) but wasn't convinced it's an improvement over the current cutout.

@ka39 - in the future, when requesting a source image please request the largest size/best quality version and not a resized smaller one.

Trying to view these cutout timelines gives a 500 Server Error. Other cutout timelines seem to be fine.
One thing they have in common is that there were comments on the timeline, could that be causing the issue?

@Miltão_Imperador Are the cutouts you've been submitting from pre-cut sources (ones that already have the background removed) or did you cut them yourself? The edges are a bit jagged.

Another thing to remember is that all cutouts should include some of the collar. You can easily do this by following the instructions in this video:

@ivolga Remember to crop close to the chin, so that the face can take up more of the image. Only a 2 or 3 pixel gap from the chin to the bottom of the canvas is needed, not 30 pixels 🙂

When the player has a long neck like this one, you should move the collar upwards, as demonstrated in this video:

Because of the way the website is coded there's no way to get larger image sizes. Your best bet is looking on the club's facebook/twitter/instagram, or those of the players' past clubs' or the players' own social media.

It's probably more of an alternative as the one cut out is of very good quality, but I think the lighting on the second one - indoor studio lights with more open eyes vs outdoor lighting and eyes squinting in the sun - makes it slightly better. IMO whichever is the most recent source would be best.

@Parker26 don't you see all that black background on right side of his head/hair.That needs to be cut off. 👍

Looking at the source image it seems to just be an oddly-shaped part of hair, maybe like he's wearing a hairband and some of it is "puffing" out behind it. Tried removing it to make it look more natural 👍
