Going to try a survive L1 with just my squad and no loan players except from senior affiliate Man Utd or U21 free signings.

July 81 .. turn down invitation to apply for Hibs job…… harder turning down Dungannon.

1 of my few over 30’s sold . Other released and 2 signed from abroad with under 6 months left.

5 free transfer youngsters signed and 4 Man U loanees with no salary costs.

After a Club career 40 appearances ..striker Banks finally has a hat trick.

Carabao Cup ..Lose (a)Prem 1st placed Leeds 2-1 as last seasons Loanee Smith scores winner.   West Ham beat Leeds to win it.

Checkatrade ..Final vs Orient but 3 players away on Int Duty.  Win 2-1 … first Win in 53 years and 2nd overall.  My 200th Career Cup.

FA Cup…Lose QF controversially at home to Blackburn aet.  Was 4 mins away from winning before 91st min leveller and then extra time red card leaves us with 10 vs a team 4th in Premier.  Cambridge from L1 also made QF.  Did knock out 2x Championship teams.

Roch dale beat Leicester to win the Cup.

League .. Good first 9 games before injuries hit.  

Survive Jan without injured leading striker. Protest transfer of Banks to Dundee Utd for £14m and succeed. They later try £32m. 1xloan in.

Game 32 .. 3-0 up away at Exeter .. the tactic to ignore Penalties for those on 2 goals doesn’t work and miss penalty. Lose 5-4.

Game 37 reach playoffs without playing as others drop points.

Game 38 ProMotion sealed as Palace drop points and I prepare for Checkatrade Final…. 13th promotion sealed.

Game 39 2-2 draw at home to Fleetwood(6th) and Swansea losing to relegation threatened MK Dons seals the Title.  1st League Title for the club.   My 54th league title.

Use last 7 games to blood youth and a number of debuts handed out. Fringe players get starts.

Premier League ..Leeds win ( 1st title in 90 years) .but have failed FFP ( also did this in 2080 & 2073

Salford relegated and with manager jumping ship I too L1 Swindon I apply.

They have a state of the art youth facility … my aim is to not buy any players …use youth set up and free transfers under 21.

Ideally end up with a side of full youth players and make Premier league for first time.

Jan transfer window tests my no buying resolve as key striker breaks his leg ( 32 app 13 goals and 6 assists) on loan from Leeds. Game 29.

Cheap £250 back up striker with 6(13) appearances has only 2 goals.

Since injury ..W1 D2 L1 plus FA Cup win at Watford.  Lack of cutting edge Not being exposed as rivals falter.  11 pts clear.

Hoping form improves after Saints game.

This poor form sees the media saying murmurs about my job … Very Secure status says otherwise.

 Next up 2nd placed Wigan away for Game 34 .. ends 0-0 and still 11pts clear.. Banks has 1 goal in last 5 appearances.

Game 35 (h) to 4th placed Coventry .. win 2-0 ..Wigan lose to extend gap but Banks fails again.

Game 38 .. make the playoffs with a draw. Game 39 ..another draw plus Cunningham breaks youngest player record by 1 day. (15y 267d).

Game 40 ..a 3rd draw sees Promotion Sealed. Banks now has 7 league and 1 cup goal.

Game 42 Seal the title .

30 players used….only 2 existing players over 30.

End season as joint dirtiest team for fouls.  Most goals and most poss 62%. 7th best attendance with 67% capacity used.

39yr old legend Quinn has 5 weeks left until he retires ( on loan here as Kaizer Chiefs not playing ) needed 3 more goals for 1000 league goals In Game 10 and duly delivered. Done from 777 games but against mostly semi pro opposition.

Lose home at Celtic .. hate this , not just from my Aberdeen/ St.Johnstone days but their manager is cocky in media.

Despite league wins in between lose away as well … bottom of the group.

World Cup Game 1 ..Hammered 4-0 by a Belgian side ranked 15th.

Czech Republic win World Cup 3-2 aet against hosts and holders England.

Eliminated and deservedly so.

Time to improve squad for next season Champions League campaign .. raid other clubs for talent .

Take the Kaizer Chiefs job .

Hall of fame is topped by a Romanian … 8th is a fellow Englishmen.

Squad is ok but struggling to get foreign players to come. Only 2 weeks until a competitive match.

Opening game is a season curtain raiser called the Be A Coach Cup vs local rivals Orlando Pirates.  Oddly the fans pick the 20 man squad .. hence the name I guess . They don’t pick my first choice right back .  No back up midfield and 4 strikers. Over 64000 turn up for a non-competitive fixture.

Imported in my usual tactic. 4123 DM wide.

HT 3-0 up Veteran Brazilian Enrico with a brace. Win 4-2 but squad gaps highlighted.

Transfers are hard .. 1 x league 2 player but loanees all seem to be from South America.

No continental football as did. It qualify last season.. using Time to build a squad.

Win opener away at Bloem Celtic with a goal in 93rd min 1-0 .. should have been more.

Game 3 Win again in 93rd min as I have the first three games away.  Then its 3 at home.

SA Knockout Cup ( a Premier league club only Cup) .. Kaizer Chiefs have not won this since 2010/11. Sundowns have won it 46 times since Our last victory. Sundowns suffering from fatigue playing in African Continental cup.

Game 28 ..Title can be sealed vs a Sundowns 2nd placed team who are On a Great African Champions League run.

Idiot ref on show again we have more red cards in a big match and 10 vs 10 ends in a 2-0 loss as I mess up tactics.

Game 29/30 .. (a) at lowly Ajax but have no first team or reserve left backs ..debut for a 16yr old. HT 3-1 up. FT 4-2 . Should seal the title as there needs to be a 13 goal swing.

FA Cup vs arch rivals Sundowns … ( not won this cup since 2013) .. HT 1-1 comeback to level having gone from Positive to Balanced.

FT 4-1 ..strikers are lethal in 2nd half.   Only 36 wins behind Sundowns for Cup Wins now !

Game 30 .. Doesn’t matter as Sundowns drop points with the game in hand .  Win last home game 2-0

18yr old Bailey makes debut. 16yr old Dyer now has 8 games with no goals over his career.

After 5 straight wins …lose away at Cambridge who lost first 5 matches ..1-0.

Carabao Rnd 2 away at Championship Cardiff … rest key players again … HT 0-0 vs 10 men.(5mins) FT 1-1 after being behind. Pens 5-3 loss.

Game 23 ..Halfwaybthrough season and sell out expected vs Bradford .. HT 2-0. Balsom gets 1st goal. FT 2-0 ..Red card stops any fightback.

Checkatrade Rnd 2  (a) vs Portsmouth( 9th L1) .. HT 1-0 down to iffy penalty. FT 2-0 loss.

FA Cup Round 3 ..Revenge time ( after last season …hopefully) this time home to Swansea.HT 1-0 up. FT 2-0 and stats show it’s deserved Against Championship 15th placed team.  Sell out 5500 crowd Is a new record but not a new gate receipts ( odd as record is a Fa cup Rnd 1 tie in 2057 vs Colchester in a smaller ground).

FA Cup Round 4 (h) vs Newcastle ..I am 20 unbeaten against them ..but Premiership (19th) should win. There manager is super confident.

My new CB is cup tied. HT 1-0 down. FT  keeper error & own goal in a 3-0 loss. Had a goal disallowed. Another sell out crowd.

Feb 2077 .. Man Utd win Carabao Cup.

Game 35 ..after a ropey Jan ..Win 2-0 vs York and we’ll clear at the top.

March 2077 .. blow Promotion chance home to Tranmere and key striker injured.

Another home chance vs lowly Barnet .. 19yr old Bailey gets 1st senior goal … 2-0 win does seal Promotion after 38 games.

Game 39 ..U18’s drafted in as injuries mount. 15 yr old Simpson makes debut. 
 

Game 42 .. Slog to a 2-1 win at home to bottom side Port Vale ..and become Champions.

Arsenal beat Utd to win FA Cup.

I am pleased but want something new for next season …South Africa is the challenge as only African league available and I have never managed there on any save.  I should have done this whilst National Manager 2041 / 42.

Season 57

Not easy transfer market and only 5 loans allowed.  Signed some of the loanees on free transfers.

1st game in Vanarama League vs Morecombe is dramatic. 2-0 up (36 mins)   3 x red cards later and it’s a 5-0 win.  There were also 11 yellows.

Crowd 1811 is a decent start to the higher league.

Only signed 7 players which is 22 of 24 teams.

Game 3 is my 4000th game as a manager vs Stevenage (h).  Win 3-1.

Game 13 and lose 1st match away at Forest Green 2-0 .. Still top by 1 point from Gateshead.

Game 22 away at lowly Dartford ( Dec 75) ..5 games without a win and now 6th.   Draw 0-0 and need transfer window. Some loanees wanted by teams to buy.

Game 23 ..end the rot with two very late goals away at Kidderminster. Still 6th   7pts off top and 6pts clear in playoffs.

Game 26 beat Stevenage 1-0 for a 4th straight win and end year 2nd to Chester by 1pt. Top 4 are 2 pts apart.

New contract to be offered…£1100 up from £725.

Game 30 (24.1.76) Top 2 battle vs Bromley (a) .. Watson finally scores after 20 hours in narrow 1-0 win.

Game 34 ..100th game in charge vs 2nd placed Chester (h) .. HT 1-1 level from o.g. FT 2-2 They level and survive with 10 men for last 18 mins.

10 points cover Top 8 teams with 12 games left.

Game 42 vs Lowly Kettering and scoring since Cox was suspended hard. Main striker and U18 15yr old  striker have failed to score and Relying on wingers and a strong defence. Need a win as just 3 pts clear of Forest Green. Still not guaranteed play offs.

Loanee DM scores only goal in munch needed win.  6 points clear but now lost Watson to injury. Forest Green has easier run in.

Game 43 vs Peterborough (6th placed and they have W4D1 in previous matches) …. lose key left winger loanee(7th min).. Very late 2-1 win.

Game 44 vs Gateshead(8th away) .. Still 6 pts ahead.  They score with every shot HT 4-1 down. Lose 5-1 and Forest Green win to cut lead to 3pts and goal difference now the same for both clubs.

Game 45 .. Kidderminster (10th home) .. Relying on a 15yr old striker whose never scored.  HT 0-0  FT 1-0 92nd minute own goal winner as Forest Green draw and that is the title….Last won it with Stockport 42 seasons back.

Drew 15 of 45 games which is the difference over Forest Green.

FA cup 4th Qual ..beat Chelmsford 5-1 at home. 
FA cup 1st Round .. home to bitter rival Hemel Hempstead .. Record crowd for my tenure expected. Lose game before rotating vs Woking and drop to 3rd in the table.   Win 3-0  in front of 3571

Youngest Player … Some show as 14 yrs x days ..my 14 year old is showing as 5330.( Shown in Total days ).

Oldest  goal scorer .. mine is total of days 14508 … others as 39 years.

Oldest  player… same mix.

Is it possible to have them all in the same format.

Fastest goal or fastest red cards etc are 0 …. Is it possible to have them in seconds.
