What if you already have started a game and want to implement the kits in game?

Can I change it with the in-game editor?

Yes you can make changes but not in bulk and not with fmf import, sadly.

So for all the colors to take effect you have to start fresh or change the colors manually with the ingame editor. You have to make sure to enable licensed kits after you made the changes. Please note that changes with the ingame editor only apply to that save.

SI changed the way data updates are built which made it harder and it hasn't been a priority before the Jan window.

We should be able to get it working again, it will just require some manual work (probably from @wfm18 😉 )

I can devote some time to make these regularly (once a week or so). I’ll do this on Sunday

This sounds great, especially for those who use Mozza's file. I know that someone is down to make 2D kits for all the lower leagues in Scotland down to WoS Division 4. The full list is on the FC12 2D Kit Work In Progress page. I know that there are Highland and Lowland league 2D kits already on the FC12 page.

3D though, that is a different level and I doubt anyone out there is attempting it for the lower leagues. I guess if the FC12 creator has a 2D done for all lower leagues it could act as a basis for 3D.

I would definitely be really interested in using a 3D pack that went down the levels in Scotland.

Would have been great if they worked on a 3D pack so we could convert all of them into Standard, SS and FC'12 kits with just a couple clicks. 3D should be the foundation of kits.

@Robin Heart you could do something like that. Myself I have kits/3d and kits/2d and a separate folder called sleeves (same for example for logos as a folder, cutouts, trophies). As long as they have their own folder (to prevent config.xml overwrites) the setup is up to you. Also, it doesn’t matter of course whether you use FC’12, SS or Standard Kits or a certain logo type. As long as they are located in your graphics folder. Sidenote is that if you have two packs installed (e.g. two logo packs) the one that alphabetically comes first as a folder will load first, and FM won’t overwrite with configurations that come after that.

Makes no sense to recreate kits as a designer while the kits are already there IMO.

MLS? They are licensed. SI made a choice there to include them hardcoded into the kits, since the patches are different per kit.

Will work on an update next week. Supply me with more patches of other leagues if possible.

Very cool project! I think to improve you might look into the grey/white-ish glow that is around the images and compared to the NewGAN style also grouping faces per type & skintone. For example ID,type,skintone per line, so you'd get something like 111153672,3,5 - to indicate for example caucasian (if that ID is 3, I have no clue) and skintone 5 - which again could be autogenerated as an CSV from FM.

Might be interesting to also get in contact with the creators behind the NewGAN project.

Though they are apparently not going to make anymore Brasilian 2D and 3D kits, according to Magrao04 there, because of other websites stealing their work then selling them for a profit.... 🤷‍♂️ (personally, I disagree with this reaction by FManagerBrasil)... here you will find MANY of the most current 2022-23 kits until all the new ones come out in approx. March/April 2023. Then these will all be out-of-date. 😄

That's fine with me if it's fine with FM-gamers knit-picky about “authenticity” of the 3D kits. A little fudging, in my amateur opinion, doesn't hurt the game experience, right? 😉 Thanks @priority76 for the tip and suggestion! I'll start staying clear of the name & number on the back. It's one of the few exceptions, because of the limits SI introduced in their way of 3D kits (there is no way to have the name not showing at all or below the number for example. If you look at the official BVB/Bayern Munich kits they for example do not feature the text at the back.

The FM Kit Creator is one where you make kits or convert (PES to 3D or 3D to 2D), this tool is only for viewing a 3D image onto the kitmodel in FM.

If I was you I'd put it lower down the back. It's right where the number goes at the moment, that way you get to keep the sponsor on the shirt.

Here are the Home, Away, and Third kits for Clube Náutico Capibaribe, just relegated(?) to the Brasileiro Série C, but still in Série B in my own current FM21 season. Again, not 100% precise, but very very close. Will also add attachments below for any complications/problems with 1024 x 1024 resolution. Next up, Avaí Futebol Clube.

Looks awesome! Really happy you are creating some good kits! Make sure that the sponsor on the back is not in the same area as the number/name. It's better to remove it or move it to the bottom than to have it there when it shows up ingame, just as a tip 🙂

I took the 2D kits pack out and when i go to the game a few kits are missing only the license ones show up so i downloaded the 2D kits 22/23 and put them in its just the 3D kits we need please

Only Cremonense missing; will potentially be made soon. All the other non-licensed teams are available in this thread. Just use the search functionality.

Yes - after the update Steam (or any other client) will overwrite the files and put original ones back. So again, delete the 3 folders and reapply the fix.

Are these champion badges on the kit itself (front of shirt) or on the arms?

As for Brazilian patches - could you supply me with the competition and national cups logos and photos of how they are fitted onto the shirts?
