@muserock2a I appreciate all the hard work you do, but I hope you also realise there's not really any point in having images in the pack that are more than 10 years old. I don't have time to double-check all of them, so please pay attention to this yourself as well 👍

I did it and it worked. Thank you for your help guys @mons @Qvordrup @BramNUFC. @mons Nothing special I'm no professional editor, I'm just using 3d painting from Windows to crop a pic if it's required. 😛 The trouble is the watermarks all the programs require payment to let you work. Anyway, thanks again for the assistance. 🙂

 

I recommend having a look at photopea.com then, it's basically a free version of photoshop and very easy to use, even if it's only cropping of pictures that you want to do 👍

@EfekanP these are decent cuts, but please read the first post of this thread to get an idea of what's required for them to be accepted.

The guidelines clearly state that you should crop 2-3 pixels from the chin and from the top of the head 👍

Well you are correct the problem is indeed the capital letters (it is .JPG), the question is how do I make it with lowercase letters because I tried typing .jpg at the end and the problem is still there. Another method I just tried is that I opened a picture editing program, clicked save as .jpg and it was correct. When I put the pic in my folder it just went to capital letters again. Do I have to find another pic or is there any other method to try?

 

I think @mons knew how to do this easily

So, as I was trying to update some players backgrounds I came across a weird problem. Two players that I've checked seem to not change pictures. What I mean is that I've changed their pictures and they still have the old one. Another problem I came across is that I've put a pic for a player that doesn't have one and it won't appear. All of those things have been checked and they are correct in the config and the pictures are in place as well. I tried deleting the entries from the config and typing them again and nothing changed. If anyone has an idea on why is this occurring it would be really appreciated.

 

Can you post screenshots of your config file and background folder? Also sure you've reloaded skin?

@ibrahim1717 please try to find the most recent images for people, there's not really any point of having ones in the pack that are more than 5 years old…

1) Go to the player's/staff's profile, click the profile image to view a larger image, and open that in a new tab.
2) You'll get something like this URL: https://img.a.transfermarkt.technology/portrait/big/435648-1576766482.jpg?lm=1
3) Copy this part of the image URL, the rest doesn't matter. https://img.a.transfermarkt.technology/portrait/big/435648-1576766482.jpg?lm=1

4)  Then paste that part of the URL at the end of this URL: https://tmssl.akamaized.net/images/portrait/originals/

Like so: https://tmssl.akamaized.net/images/portrait/originals/435648-1576766482.jpg

Now you can get the actual full-size image instead of one that's resized to 390px tall.

If someone has been removed from the game it includes them based on the last club they were at.

 

We've been back and forth on the best approach, I can't remember why it is the way it is to be honest.

 

I can change it pretty easily.

 

If you can change it easily, please do it. I think we see it almost on a daily basis where people (probably unknowingly) submit cuts for people that are no longer in the game, just because they show up on the team page here.
