Looks like there's already a byte-identical file in the same location you're extracting the download. Just say yes to all and keep the extraction going

Yeah, if I don't click yes to all there are quite a few of them. Just might be worth exploring for future releases.

If installed correctly, a fresh installation of the complete pack should not have any overwrite requests, though

Images are saved by the UID to which they pertain, and there will be normal, small and @2x versions of each file, so that is where there may be an overlap in filenames. But if extracted and copied correctly, they should all be in separate folders and no overwrite requests are then received.

Could you stop any current installation, remove any files extracted so far from your user data folder and restart the process from scratch? When you get an overwrite prompt, take a screenshot and post it here?

P.S. You are installing everything in Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2019, right? Not your steam installation folder?

Since your a premium member I suggest starting the process all over again. Delete anything you have previous downloaded and installed, and get the full pack again. Make sure to install the pack on the right patch: Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2019. Then there should be no overwrites and the pack should work just fine. Then if you in the future decided to download any updates there will be plenty of overwrites, but that is the hole idea of updates and all overwrites should just be accepted

Ok, starting again now. And yeah it's def the right folder. been doing this a long time now. too long. will let you know how i get on!

If installed correctly, there should be plenty of overwrite requests for club, competition, nation and trophy logos which have a better, more recent version added in this update pack.

sorry, just edited my original post as realise I hadn't made it clear, I've downloaded the complete pack, and installing fresh on a new laptop. soo all the overwrite requests are coming from the one complete pack?

I get lots of overwrite requests when unzipping this download, which version of each of the files should I keep?

edit: sorry, let me be more specific, I just downloaded the complete pack, and when I unzip it there are a fair few files that seem to be duplicated in there. They seem to be either march and june, or created about 2 minutes apart.

problem is we made same 3d kits for FM17....now its different 3d template for FM18 they will try remake with new 3d templates take over....it will be ages. ok

In FM18, struggling to get them all to work, have only noticed arsenal so far, but haven't played against every team yet so not sure which others don't work. Anyone else having problems in fm18?

Just starting out, will be playing slowly due to other commitments, but going to have a real good go at doing this for the long term!

Firstly, backrrom staff at arsenal seem ok, but could do with som ebetter coaching, will be looking to address this asap, as I rely on staff to do alot of the training, opposition instructions etc.

Secondly, playing squad I think is ok, need a good young CB and maybe some extra depth at LB, as can't rely on Gibbs to stay fit. With Arteta, Rosicky and Flamini all leaving/getting old I think I could do with a bit more depth in that area, mainly for next season, but I'm gonna look/purchase now. AM I'm happy for now, AMR is good, could do with a spare AML, as Sanchez can't play every game (unfortunately). Up top, I am going to give Giroud at least until January to show what he's got, as I think he has the stats to do it. Will generally be looking for good youngsters to buy for the future as well.

Will be looking into affiliates and the such, to make sure it's in everyones intersts.

Well I've just been appointed as Arsenal Manager, it's a great honour and I'm hoping I can make the gooners happy. My first tasks will be meeting with the board and with my assistant, and deciding on his duties. I will then be evaluating my squad and staff and decide who is going to face the chop, because there are some seriously overpaid players in the arsenal squad and there is a serious lack of depth in some areas. I'm thinking I need a good, young CB who will develop well, a new right back as Sagna is a little bit past it and I think it's worth cashing in now before his value drops, and I don't think Jenkinson will be good enough as a first team regular. I also think I'll need a new striker as back up for Giroud, but with the potential to develop into first choice in a few seasons, not sure that is realistic though with my transfer budget. Possibly a new LW as Podolski is very overpaid and the money could be used better elsewhere. Also considering Walcott's future as he is on a massive wage and not sure his stats show he's worth it. Might wait until January and see how he's done though. Left back is also a problem area, as Monreal seems to have some of the stats and Gibbs the others, wish they were one player. I might delay that decision until next summer though, give them both a chance. Well anyway on first impressions that's what I feel are my priorities. Should update later tonight with a bit of progress. Oh I need to develop my tactic as well, not sure arsenal are sold enough at the back to not play a DM but we'll see. Sorry if this is a bit rubbish, I've never done one of these before and I'm not a terrific Football Manager anyway so this will be a challenge for me! Thanks for looking
