I've checked in all lnc files, no other changes…
And for editor data files, i think that there is only FM21 Sortitoutsi Licenses Fix - Club Name Changes.fmf that could modify the short names.
I think that the only difference between my saved game and a new one is the lnc file content at the creation.

Hello Mons,
a) all games started with 21.4. The lnc files are installed in all database folders.
b) i've also tried with a file reduced to 4 lines with only two long and short club names modified. The long names are took into account in the existing save game but not the short ones 😢. I've tried also to specify “French” in the name modification and to change the game language to english => same short names

For exemple with french ligue 1 team :
lnc file :
short name in the saved game (not the same as lnc file in existing saved game, ok with a new game) :
long name in the saved game (same as lnc file), if I modify it in lnc file, it is updated after game restart

Hello,
I've a problem with a saved game (created with the last patch) where the club short names are not updated via lnc file (“City, Club and Stadium Names”).
When i create a new game, the short club names are correct (using the same lnc file).
There is no problem with club long names…
