I watched Django a few days ago.

I really can't make my mind up on what I think about Tarantino and his style.

FM07, mostly because I had some of my greatest saves on that version. Won the Champions League with Sampdoria.

The bans for Cannavaro and Grava and the point-deduction given to Napoli have been lifted upon appeal.

Great news for Serie A!

Is there a trick to get them to do that? There doesn't seem to be the option to ask for it in a board meeting during pre-season.

Not that I know of.

Rumours in Spain saying that Pep would like to have Neymar at Bayern.

Of course what Pep wants as far as transfers are concerned is pretty much irrelevant, even if it is true.

May have been mentioned here before but Milan are apparently interested in getting both Santon and Krul from Newcastle.

I can't see that. 10-15 years? The man's 71. He's clearly very capable of continuing for a while yet but I'm confident he'll have moved on in the next 2-3 years. If I had to put money on it I reckon he'll have handed the reigns over by the 2014-15 season.

People have run nations well into their 80s, I don't doubt that a healthy Ferguson could do the same with a football club.

I'd put money on United being his next club.

I doubt it.

First of all, Pep has been very consistent in saying that he does not want to be a manager, he'll prefer clubs that have an established structure with directors of sport, chairmen etc. sharing the responsibilities, letting him focus on coaching. FC Bayern is a prime example of such a club while United are pretty much the total antithesis.

Second of all, we have no idea if he actually has what it takes to be successful at a club other than Barca, What he did with Barcelona was very impressive, but Barca are not like any other club.

And finally, I think most people have realised by now that Fergie won't leave his post until his health gives in. That might be as far as 10-15 years away.

This has been rumoured for a while by the way, it's not completely out of nowhere.

Judging by the reaction of you guys I suppose the rumours might just not have been picked up by the English media. I'd wager that the general interest for FC Bayern in England would be pretty low, so it makes sense.

Perfect fit for him. Hoeneß, Sammer and co. will continue running the club while Pep can focus entirely on coaching, just like he's said he wants.

A players natural fitness attribute is the key in terms of how quickly they recover to full fitness after games (or injury), if you want to give players a really high workload you should look for players with very high ratings for stamina and natural fitness, they won't tire as easily during games and will recover faster afterwards.

I'm going to guess that you are using a tactic that expects the wingers to cover a lot of ground during the matches, with high settings for forward runs and high closing down. I'd try lowering the closing down settings a few notches for Kuba, he won't press the opposition as much but that will be compensated by him being much fresher when you go on the attack.
#43577 Is FM 2013 actually worth buying?

Hard to say, apart from the technical issues I've had I can't say that I regret buying it.

It's a bigger change between FM12 and 13 than there usually is, the question is whether you'd make any use of the improved online/network play or FMC. Otherwise it is pretty much just the little tweaks and additions like always.

First leg of a Champions League quarter final against Real Madrid, I draw the game 1-1 but at full time when I get to the team talk screen I notice I have the option to congratulate my players for the win, I found that incredibly strange and then I notice something even stranger, the game has given me a 2-1 win despite me only scoring one goal in the match.

Harry Redknapp is baffling. After we beat his ragtag mob he said his players weren't worth their salaries, and then he goes and trumps the lot of them. He started the wheels in motion that bankrupted Portsmouth and it seems he's leading QPR into similar territory.

From this perspective QPR is the perfect fit for that red-faced clown, thanks to the wealth of the owners he can overspend as much as he likes on players without ever having to truly deal with the consequences.

That kid is a monster, do you play you top regens regularly Franck or do you use him for Cup matches and as a late sub only?

I try to give them the occasional start, it's tough though as I am in a title race and seldom have the opportunity to rest my key players.

Wouldn't want to manage him if his personality is anything like his name indicates!

It's still early days, but I have really, really high hopes for this kid:

He is far and a way the best 16-year-old player I've had on FM. Great technical attributes and the mental attributes of a seasoned veteran already.

Yeah, because the Republicans are fucking saints.

Oh, the IRA are a bunch of real nice chaps!

The fact that I consider loyalists to be a bunch of despicable arseholes doesn't necessarily mean that I have any sympathies for the republicans now does it?

I don't care. I just want to see the bullies get bullied for once.
