I can pretty much guarantee you that you're going to have a crash at some point with that many players loaded.

And Gibraltar became UEFA members about a year ago. Will take part in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

Brazil-Argentina in the final would be the biggest football match in history, and would likely remain that way for a long, long time.

How on earth did you drink 700ml of sambucca and play football the next day? That's insane recovery powers.

Well he is Irish, after all.

Ever heard the story of Iron Mike Malloy?

Juve have signed Kingsley Coman from PSG and are rumoured to be close to completing a deal for Iturbe.

Several Italian clubs (including Juventus) interested in Adrien Rabiot from PSG. His contract runs out next summer and he apparently wants to go to a club where he'll get more playing time.

And Eric Abidal has signed for Olympiakos.

Any reported fee?

£15m.
Salih Uçan to Roma from Fenerbahçe is an interesting one though.

The list of Turkish players who've been successful abroad is a very short one. And I don't think he was even a first-team regular at Fener.

They are apparently interested in buying Fellaini outright, not loaning him.

Ashley Cole apparently having a medical at Roma on Monday.

Napoli are supposedly really close to signing Michu from Swansea on loan, while Fiorentina are linked with Fellaini and Alexandre Pato is linked with a move to Inter.

Looks like it'll be a summer of shit transfers for Italian football.

Unfortunately you can't make all national teams playable in-game. A nation needs to have a certain amount of players in the database (I believe it is about 100) to be playable, a lot of small nations don't have that many.

Then there is the issue of loading players, loading the amount of players that would be required to make all possible national teams playable in-game would make the game run very slowly and you would be at risk of bugs, crashes and corrupted saves.

The good thing is that most of the real minnows like Andorra, the Faroe Islands and the Oceanian national teams tend to have a small number of players, so you can load many of them at the start. When it comes to slightly larger national teams you will be forced to pick between them though, as many of them have several thousand players each in the database and with established giants like England, Italy or Brazil they'll have more than 10,000 players each in the DB, making it very easy to exceed the recommended limit for your system.

Fergie chose right when he got rid of Pogba for Tom Cleverley.

Fergie didn't get rid of Pogba. He had no intention of staying at United.

The Japan national team is "broken" because of licensing issues. There's no way of fixing it, other than downloading a custom database.

Ryan Gauld to Sporting is a pretty interesting move. Suppose given his build he's better off developing in a Southern European league, but you don't exactly see Scottish players sign for foreign clubs very often.

Something i've just noticed...

PSG paid £50m for Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva who are 2 of the worlds best in their positions.
Southampton are selling Shaw and Lallana for around £55m-£60m (reportedly) based on potential and 1 top quality season each.

I know Shaw and Lallana are much younger, but I still struggle to get much head round that.

It's not a comparable situation. Milan were trying to shed costs, and in the case of Ibrahimovic his ~€15m yearly salary made the list of clubs capable of buying him very short.

Neuer saved Germany's defence so many times.

And you'll have no difficulty finding people who don't understand how sweeper keepers work happy to criticise him for playing "dangerously".

I really don't get why they insist on playing Lahm in midfield. Sure, he's been really good playing there this season, but he's arguably the best fullback in the world and it's not as if they lack other high quality options in the middle.

Rodriquez didn't actually cost €45m. It was just some fancy financial play to get out of paying Mouthino's old club a load of money

They went for a combined €60m or something like that, right?

Nathan Walker of Sydney became the first Australian to be drafted by an NHL team yesterday.

Meanwhile it's been 14 years since a British player was drafted.

Aye, you're probably looking at paying at least €65m if you want him.

Rumours about a week ago that Napoli were kicking the tyres on him though, but after this World Cup he's definitely priced himself out of their range, if he wasn't already.

That is a sickening transfer fee for a 18-year old left back...

He could have 15 years of top-level football ahead of him. Not so "sickening" when you take that in mind.

Leaving Brisbane on 14th July. Plan is to live back in Dublin, get a job and all that jazz. Basically just see if it's somewhere I want to be or not, should have done it years ago.

Watching post-game interviews, Bruno Alves speaks, much, much better English than Nani does.
