Do any UK retailers let you pick parts and then assemble the computer for you?

That's what I did last time I bought a computer, think having it assembled cost me about £40 or so more than it would have cost had I put it together myself.

Yeah, it was changed ahead of the 2012/13 season. Meant to give young players more opportunity.

And like Mons says, you can change it in the competition rules in the editor, I don't see why you'd want to though.

Why do cyclists of the spandex-wearing variety insist on cycling on the road even when there is a perfectly good, paved bike path right next to it?

Nearly ran over a clown the other evening who was out on the road with a bike that had no lights and no reflexes with the bike path literally a yard to the side of him. I swear people like that have a death-wish.

FM isn't 64-bit enabled, so it can't make use of more than 4 GB of RAM, so the difference for you is whether you'll be running any other programs in the background (like a web-browser, music player etc.) and how RAM-intensive those are. If you're someone who multitasks a lot while playing FM the extra memory is probably a sound investment, otherwise you'll be fine.
