That shootout was ridiculous. Oshie's strategy is definitely going to re-open the debate on whether there should be some kind of rule change to prevent the slow approach.

He's clearly at least 30, it's not uncommon for footballers from lesser developed nations to lie about their age. Apparently Obafemi Martins peaked at 18 years old when he was playing for Inter and yet was crap by the time he was 25.

Martins wasn't playing first-team football at 18. His peak was between the ages of 20 and 23, which is perfectly natural for a player with a game built upon pace.

And the player in the picture isn't 30, an age discrepancy that large would show up in the x-ray scans clubs do before signing players from nations with unreliable documentation.

Same here. Local cinemas only have early showings of the dubbed version planned now though, so unless they offer a late-night showing with the English audio I'll skip it.

Someone arrested and charged for misdemeanors would not be a convicted felon.

Anyway, the wording is bad in this case, the point is that Snoop Dogg has never spent a day in prison, unlike Martha Stewart.

I didn't really like The Master all that much. It's in the same book as Raging Bull for me, I can recognise the achievement and the tremendous acting, I just did not enjoy watching it.

The Social Network is pretty much perfect in my mind, there's not a single superfluous scene, not a single empty shot, not a single unconvincing acting performance and not a single moment where the soundtrack does anything but add to the experience. Combine that with the topicality of the subject matter and you've got the film of the decade.

Love how this scene highlights the difference Facebook/social media has done to societal attitudes:
