hammer9, thank you SO much for making Eredvisie kits.  Missing SS Eredivisie and Portugal kits last season really INCREASED my appreciation and gratitude for all of you who make kits.  Thanks to you and all the kit and other graphics makers for making the game and my life a little bit better.  It really does make a difference.  

Thanks to all for the great kits AND the color code fixes.  I am particularly looking forward to Brazil Serie A and B.   If I missed them posted somewhere I apologize. Looking forward to a color code pack like last season, it was VERY helpful.  Thanks again to all for their fine work.

Dortmund's “3rd” kit is in the Alt folder.  I believe it is just used for domestic cups.  The color codes are in the game and I believe using default FM 3d kits its in the game (I dont know, I've never used it).   To use it as 3rd kit, copy and past from Alt folder and edit config file.

At the risk of getting too personal on the forum…I'm having a lousy, sucky, foul, nasty, funky, ornery, yucky ass day today.    How cool to have a little ray of sunshine in the midst of the suckatude.   

Thanks so much for the multiple versions, they are all excellent, but having the option to choose between the sublte differnces is really cool.

I love how the Dortmund home kits came out!  I was concerned the gap in the stripes would look odd with the logo raised, but it totally works.  .

The Frankfurt kits look just as I imagined them.  Fantastic to be able to get a version of those kits that fit the more recent indeed sponsored kits.   

And best of all - HERTHA!  Those Hertha kits are going to look so good in game.  

Still having a crummy day…which only makes me appreciate the rays of sunshine all the more.

Thanks DCarozzi87.  I'm grateful for the fantastic kits you're made for me as well as for others that I've added to my games.  

The specific templates for the Frankfurt kits aren't particularly important to me. The main thing for me is the overall style, colors and having uniformity with the over all layout, placement and size of badges, logos and sponsor (both for my own Obsessiveness and to allow potential mix and match with historical kits). Newer templates would be fine.  It would probably even increase flexibility for swapping other kits in an out of “rotation” from season to season. Understood about difficulty finding time to make kits.  I DO understand that you, and fellow graphics makers, are doing this as a hobby AND a kindness to others.  I an grateful for it.  Please take your time. Ugh.  I know what it's like to “wtf isn't this working!!!” and be sure I'm doing everything right.  usually I'm missing something simple.  i am NOT saying that you're doing that…i'm saying that I DO THAT!   I AM empathizing with that frustration.   I hope you're able to figure it out.  

Have you ticked in game “Allow Licensed Kits" if using ingame editor.  And/or unclicked “Use caching to decrease loading times” and TICKED “Reload skins when confirming changes” in preferences?"   I can not believe how often I forget one of those, even though I KNOW it!  Also have you 

I still cant get levante kits to display.  I was able to get Tenerife home to display - there were multiple kits iin db, deleting one set worked.

I believe for a saved game you have to use the In-Game Editor.  The information is on that page.

I dont think you can on Beta.  After full release of game follow the SSKC23 posting. That should be posted shortly after full game release (8th November)

Woah!  Those are so good I suddenly don't hate spotify sponsoring barca!  I'll always be partial to the Unicef barca, but I really like these.  Thanks for sharing them, these are so good.   It's a shame barca arent wearing some of these this season.

Forgive an “I freely admit I know NOTHING about this subject” question - Do you have this logo in Small and Medium/Regular size or just Large?  If just Large size is there information anywhere where I can make smaller versions of this image? 

I tried to download forest.zip (50.43 KiB) but my browsers/security stuff kept blocking it.

Thanks for making the logo (and thanks to ALL the graphic makers).  The large size standard red forest logo shows up fine on the skin I'm using, but the smaller sizes (ex. top of club page and league table) dont show up.  This would be a very nice touch.

Alaves config # is wrong, set as1668 instead of 1688 (changing config# displays them in game)

Levante kits still aren't displaying for me either.

Sleeves colors do NOT have to be in same style.  I think they're REALLY cool, but I don't know how difficult it is for kit ARTISTS to replicate it.  I'm fine with solid color sleeves.  If using solid color sleeves black sleeves on white panel side and white sleeves on black panel side is prefered. 

 

Black trim on collar.  If using solid colors for sleeve, please use white trim on black sleeve and black trim on white sleeve.

Ok, this one is tricky… I LOVE Dortmund's 22-23 home kit. I mean I LOVE it.  Problem is the 1&1 logo is oriented slightly lower than previous seasons 1&1 sponsored kits….and I'm super obsessive about uniformity in orientation and size of logos on kits.  What I'm hoping for is something matching the STYLE of the 22-23 kit with the 1&1 logo brought slightly up to match the orientation of previous seasons 1&1 kits.  Simply raising the logo while keeping the plain yellow center would look wrong.  I dont know its best to also raise the yellow “gap” in the stripes or make it solid stripes with the 1&1 logo superimposed on top of it.  

 

Yellow (248 224 0) Black (8 8 8)

Please try to match the 1&1 logo placement with previous seasons 1&1 kits. Dortmund 21-22 away posted as example

 

Away kit - Based on Dortmund 15-16 away kit.  Replace Evonik with 1&1.  No puma sleeve sponsors, preferably Opel on right sleeve (white and black to match with above kits), no sleeve sponsor also ok.  Yellow trim for collar and sleeves.

Third - in the style of The Flameo's beautiful Dortmund fantasy kit (page 160, 22nd January, 2022)

It doesn't have to match The Flameo's design, although I do LOVE it. IF you go with a similar side panel, please use Black for panel. Please use standard Dortmund logo (yellow background, black BVB 09 and outline).  Please use yellow puma logo.  No puma logo on sleeves.  Either Opel logo on right sleeve (preferred) or no sleeve logo (either white and black to match previous kits OR yellow and black).  

Yellow and black trim for collar and sleeves.

Gray can be same as The Flameo's OR a little lighter (like the little patch on the lower side panel), your choice.  I have been unable to find color code to match The Flameo's gray (and after endless tinkering and tweaking it just hit me “hey, why didn't you ASK him, dumb-dumb?”) - PLEASE include color codes for the gray shade you use.  Thank you.  

Please use (248 224 0) for yellows and (8 8 8) for blacks. 

 

There is no rush on my end for these kits.  My last request was submitted a month ago, but DCarozzi87 finished it only 2 weeks ago (thanks again DCarozzi87,they are SPECTACULAR).  I hope that I'm within not just the letter of, but the spirit of the request rules by submitting request now.  I broke my internal “should I/shouldn't I ask yet?” dilemma with “ya know, things are gonna get BUSY in here with requests REAL soon!”

Please ask me any questions.  My two top priorities are uniformity with logo placements and sizes and being able to match the kit colors in game.  Thanks to all the kit makers and other graphics makers for the extraordinary work you do.  Your work makes this game feel so much more ALIVE.  Thank you all for making my life a little bit better.  

I've freeloaded on this site for too long. Just signed up for premium membership.  About damn time, huh?

oh yeah.  it crashed when I reload skin too.  I forget that part.  that still happens for my save.  i havent played in a month or so with FM23's imminent release

I have to install graphics before launching game.  and that worked fine for me, but i cant add a 3rd kit to a config file for example

I removed ALL files/folders.   from documents, program files (x86) and Users-(UserName)-AppData-Local-Sports Interactive-FM22.   I saved to a folder on desktop.  I've had it happen on this save a few times and that always (so far!) works.  I think (not sure) that doing that even worked without removing the graphics…but I dont remember.  

I'm far from computer savvy so I dont remember exactly or know how to explain it.  

Basically I followed the suggestions of kingrobbo and bartdude…plus I remember SI tech actually suggested I remove EVERYTHING and that was what finally worked.   

If that doesn't work, or if I didn't explain it well enough, let me know and I'll walk myself through it again and try to explain better.  I'm grateful for all the patient help others have given me and I'm glad to be able to help someone else (or at least try!). 

Oh my!  Better than I imagined!   Plus multiple version.  You sir are a gentleman and an artist.   Wow.

My biggest problem is that they are all too good!  Gonna get a LOT of use out of these rotating them.    I figured only a few would look as good as I hoped…nope, they all look as good, better than  I hoped.

A very good problem to have.

Thanks again for your help.  I was eventually able to get it to work again.

What ultimately did it was removing ALL the folders, both in Documents and Program Files paths and then doing an uninstall/re-install.  

I appreciate both the suggestions you both gave me.  Even more than that I appreciate that you gave a damn.  I was really demoralize.

 @bartdude   ironically this has been the most stable FM for me in recent memory.  I had terrible Steam Synch issues with FM21 that were a real pain in the ass.  

The corrupt graphic files seems odd to me as I've been using them for a while.  For instance game crashed loading the metallic logos which I've been using all along for FM22 with no issue.   I also tried loading just kits (granted ALL the kits) and it also crashed.  I've even had it crashed on reload skin (caching clicked off) WITHOUT adding anything else.

I'll try all the stuff you've recommended - redoing all the SI/Sega trouble shooting (this will be 3rd or 4th time) plus what @kingrobbo suggested.   As well as loading graphics one by one.  If that doesnt work I'll redo the trouble shooting suggestions and try re-downloading graphics one by one.  Pain in the ass, but worth it if it works.  

I'm so demoralized by this and my lack of savvy.  Your help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks.  I'm now using the default skin and continuing to have problems.  When I try to reload/refresh skin with added graphics is crashes.  When I try to reload/refresh skin WITHOUT adding anything it crashes.   

In my demoralized “this sucks so bad” mental/emotional state I missed a key part of that post that sometimes moving on in the game using Vanilla FM can allow re-adding graphics.  That seems so odd…makes no sense, but I know nothing about computers or programing etc.  

Any idea how far to advance game?  Or is it is all a “who knows” shrug and hope? 

Even if you are not able to help me “fix” this….just being heard and feeling like someone gives a damn means something.  Means a lot actually. Thank you.  And thank to you and everyone here who has created graphics and name fixes and support to help make this game we love, not just a little bit better but MUCH better.   You've helped make my life a little bit better.

 I've never had this issue before.   The skin I've been using all along too.   

As for the AppData suggesting - I did try deleting the cache and preferences in App Data (as per SI troublshooting suggestions).  Are you suggesting I try deleting all the sub folders in C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2022?

I dont know if this is the right place to post this…but I sure hope someone can help me with this.

I've been using kit packs, logos and cut-out face packs for years (going on decades?) without issue, including with FM22.

All of a sudden my game crashes on launch.   I was able to get it to load when I removed kit packs, face pack, and logos.  Then when I put folders back into game and hit reload skin it crashes.  

Why has this suddenly started to happen?   Is this a 22.4 issues?  Is there a way I can get game to work again WITH logos, kits & face packs?  I'm not going to say “I dont want to play FM without graphics”….but I sure dont want to play it right now without them!  

I've tried all of the following - verifying game files on steam, deleting FM cache and preferences, SFC /scannow for corrupted data, checked for windows updates, geforce updates, added FM to exclusion list for anti-virus, checked game path to make sure its correct (of course it is and was), and probably some other stuff I can't remember at the moment.  

Sega tech support simply says “dont use custom data or graphics”   which…would leave me heartbroken playing Vanilla FM.   

Anyone have any ideas?   Help!
