Sunderland down and hopefully the end of Moyes' managerial career. He is just not good enough.

Mixed emotions. Lost today and were wowful away at Notts County. Still in the play-offs though. Hope we qualify for them, but don't want it at the same time as the Oyston's will try use it to vindicate their ownership and there will probably be an increase in attendance from those with no brain or heart.

York relegated from the Conference National! Even big Jon Parkin couldn't save them.

Nice team to start with in the Conference North next season in FM though...

Well, this thread kicked off, eh?

Guess not many followers of La Liga on these forums these days.

Granada have been relegated after a 2-1 loss away at Real Sociedad. Tony Adams doing about as well there as most expected!

Can British managers hack it abroad anymore?

I suppose Adams, G. Neville and Moyes are not our best representatives!

How long is it until Rangers can be back to challenging Celtic for the title? Scottish Premiership is even more dull at the top these days as you know Celtic are going to dominate spectacularly.

Aberdeen are not really challengers, they'll sometimes get close but they'll always just be amongst the front of the also-ran pack.

A slightly skewed result from playing against 10 for the majority of the game?

Good luck keeping hold of Kone! Southampton normally have some good prospects if you raid their academy

Such derby games shouldn't be on a Thursday night, always think that hinders such matches before they even kick off.

The only winners tonight were Liverpool.

More here for you @K3VO , Joey Barton suspended from all football activities for 18 months

Going to appeal, obviously, but I hope this ends his career. Prick that he is.

I doubt that total's being broken for a long time, but in saying that, the squad as it currently is needs a lot of work to be PL ready.

The potential of deducted points (depending what happens from this HMRC raid) might help you with that!

Sorry for the newb question, but I normally just leave you guys in this section alone to get on with your excellent work.

However, of late, I've been making a few requests so that the teams I'm managing can be well stocked in regards to cut out photos.

One of my games at the moment is at AFC Fylde and I have a suitable picture for David Haythornthwaite, the Chairman at the club, but I can't work out how to get his ID? Obviously I can't select him from the staff list but I know it is possible to assign Chairmen pictures as I have managed other clubs where it has been done.

Hope that makes sense and all help appreciated.

Apologies mons if this didn't warrant a new thread!

Don't see this Arsenal side challenging Chelsea in the final...

...unless Chelsea would have already won the title by then and Arsenal have finished outside of the top 4!

The winner of Monaco v Juventus will go on to win the tournament, I think.

Lib Dems will gain a lot of votes but it'll be more at the expense of Labour than it will the Conservatives. At least UKIP will officially be dead after June 8th though

Every cloud, etc.

Can Labour act fast enough to get some sort of act together? Oust Corbyn and have Dave Milliband ride in on a white charger

EDIT: Wrong brother.

I can see how she is trying to capitalise on weak Labour leadership, but will the general lethargy and lashback against Brexit see an up turn in votes for the Lib Dems again? The lack of any opposition should see her through but on the back of something like Brexit I still think it is an all or nothing gamble.

The title race is all but over in name, as mentioned above.

The fight, as always, is for fourth and the last Champs League place. Liverpool should finish 3rd given their fixtures, but they have a spectacular way of fucking things up. City should probably end up fourth as they have no other distractions in Europe or cups. That final game of the season between Everton and Arsenal could well decide 5th. Which would make it more interesting if Arsenal won the FA Cup and United went on to win the Europa League. In that scenario would the top four (Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, City) and Man United then qualify for the Champions League with Everton (5th) and Arsenal (FA Cup) being in the Europa League?

Happy that Brighton are up, meaning there will be two Israelis in the PL next season. What are the chances of either playing?

I reckon out of Kayal and Hemed, the latter has the better chance of playing more. Will they keep Murray though as his strike partner? Glad Brighton are up, think they could become a popular "second team" like we were.

I hope for Reading's sake they don't manage to fluke going up through the play-offs. They would get mullered in the Premier League with their current squad, even with new signings.

Fulham might well be the team to clinch that third promotion place. They have form and have now snuck into the play-off places, it might just all fall into place for them.

Redknapp comes in at Birmingham, surely he can keep them safe? Would love to see Rovers leapfrog Forest and send them down! However, the fixture list definitely favours those in Nottingham. This weekend could prove the difference psychologically, if Reading turn up at Forest and Rovers manage to win against Wolves.

Looks like us lucky people in the UK get a general election this year, I imagine it'll pass tomorrow and be official anyway.

Can't see how May is going to gain from this? I guess she is after some stability for the next 5 years rather than 3, but all I can see is another shitty coalition happening.

Thoughts?

Today could, and may very likely be, the day we finally escape League Two, after 6(?) years, administration, coming within minutes of ceasing to exist, almost being relegated to non-league twice, play-off semi-final humiliation and Wembley heartache.

These are the days that we are in football for. Dicks well and truly out.

Throw your pasties in the air! 2-0 up!

Ipswich taking the lead against Newcastle Still hope though, as Mick McCarthy hasn't managed a team to victory over Newcastle since 1992...
