Fairly confident Pardew is staying after the Hull game.

Don't think Ashley will allow himself to look like he's pandering.

UT has lost it's charm, as I'm given far too many golds to start of with.

I used to like building really shit and cheap League 1 teams and such,

The timeline is weird. Sounds like he was diagnosed originally in May 2013. - Last game of the 2012/13 season.

Played in the opening day of 2013/14 - Was injured and then returned to Argentina.
Arrived back in January and loaned to Norwich. (This seems to be when he was told to find a new club - I remember reading at the time)

Has anyone ever seen Mkyhtarian have a good game?

Yeah.

He seems to have the Diego Costa problem. Costa was pretty bad in the 6 or 7 games I saw him last yeat

It's going to be Hoddle isn't it?

Has there actually been anything to suggest MYM and Pardew don't like each other? Or that it was Pardew's decision to get rid?

I read that Roma would pay £6.5m to make the deal permanent, so it is a good deal from Newcastle's POV to recoup the money lost. And I haven't read anything stating the terms of HBA's loan.

Nah, it's unclear how much say he has on transfers, but it's not much.

The defending was awful, it just seems to be the insecurity and nerves is getting to Williamson and Coloccini. Williamson looked crippled by fear.

I think Pardew has completely lost his nerve. Don't think he has the bottle to drop Gouffran or Cabella.

Tbh anyone with a Twitter account can promote anything in a micro second now. The professionally laminated sheet at St. Mary's was kinda redundant, and probably a bitch to carry on the train/bus down.

Plus I said it looked well done. That didn't meant to say I agreed with all of the content, and I have read it. Its too easy to portray Pardew as a villain because he is the public face of the Ashley regime, which was last popular a fucking century ago. But while I agree he isn't the be all and end all problem, he still is a major one. 5 wins in 23 is the kind of form that would get you sacked at every other club in the top four tiers, yet here we still are for what, exactly?

I'm not opposed to Pardew's sacking.

It's more I'm just bored of the fans moral high ground, and crisis circus that surrounds the club. Gut feeling is that we'll be in the exact same situation as right now in 12/18/24 months time. The club seems to have two modes, very successful (lasts about 12 months) followed by crisis mode which lasts about five years.

Even so, it's the effort that goes into it and promoting it. Do people have nothing better to do? Do they not have ant other interests?

Had a brief look, but it seemed to be mostly bollocks, how everything good at Newcastle was luck/or the players/in spite of Pardew/The ghost of Chris Hughton. Everything bad was Pure Pardew.

Blind - £20m, Mata - £40m, Di Maria - £60m, Herrera - £30m

Roughly?

(Not that it matters, it's still very expensive)

Hughton was caretaker until about mid September I think.

I think Pulis would come, because it's a massive club compared to where he's managed, and I think he would sort Newcastle out, but I'm not so sure what would come after that.

I honestly don't really care. Feels like where in the same cycle we've been in for nearly 20 years. If Pardew is sacked, and replaced by someone of similar ability, initial success, before they will probably be sacked in about 18 months time.

Pardew is the only man since Robson to last a full season in the past decade.

That NOT FOR SALE for 18 months is a very strange statement. Seems unlikely anything major will happen in that time.

The Sun said Pardew only wants players who love the club.

Graeme Bailey tweeted earlier, that Pardew was one heavy defeat away from the sack.

Just read more into it. I though Rangers gave Ashley the naming rights, in exchange for backing the share issue. Basically begging for Ashley to invest, to presumably stop Rangers heading back into severe trouble. Doesn't look like the case.

Bizarre, did Green/Rangers not realised they sold the naming rights or something?

Find it funny, how Rangers have nearly went bust about three times and had charlatans in charge, and they are that worried about Ibrox's naming rights.

John Stones is fucking awful.

He's fashionable though. No denying that.

Fairly sure Welbeck is trolling. His two finishes were excellent, yet he looked as if he didn't really mean them.

And fair play to Hodgson, the formation looked a lot better in practice. Although I worry what would've happened if Sturridge was fit.

That ball to Rooney was excellent.

He generally just offers nothing, his standard move is receive ball turn five times before passing to the fullback, And if he gets in trouble dive. His passing has been far too slow. Twice he's given Delph hospital balls.

At least Delph has provided energy, and can pass.

The good and the bad of Welbeck in a few seconds there.

Pass was good, Sterling was on his heels imo

Because he's one of the best two central midfielders we have, comfortably. Not his fault he's being played completely out of position.

He's awful. Delph looks miles better.

Erm, I really hope we're not actually playing a diamond.

Team looks fine in a 433 or 4312, but if Henderson and Delph are both supposed to get forward as well. This could get messy. Overall a bizarre selection.

4-0 England then.
