There is an 8 year old around here who has a mobile. The kid should be taken by social services as that is flat out moronic

That's fucking crazy... Why does an 8 year old need a phone ffs!!

I got my first mobile phone off my parents when I was 14 and we'd moved to Australia, the latter being the only reason I got one, because I didn't really know my way around this place that well at the start.

It's actually a very good point you've just made.

No doubt bullying has changed these days considering a lot of kids have mobile phones and personal computers at a very young age.

Wasn't a fantastic performance but we won comfortably.

Impressed with the partnership between Cleverley and Carrick in midfield.

After 26 years at Old Trafford long serving Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is contemplating retiring ahead of the new Barclays Premier League season according to a source close to the Ferguson family.

The Scot has won 36 trophies in his time at Old Trafford which includes 12 Barclays Premier League titles, five FA Cups, four Capital One Cups, nine Community Shields and the UEFA Champions League twice, the first coming against Bayern Munich in 1999 at the Nou Camp and the second against Barclays Premier League rivals Chelsea in 2008 at the Luzhniki Stadium.

Should the 70 year old retire he would leave Old Trafford as the most successful manager in the history of British football.

The North Stand at Old Trafford was officially renamed the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand last November to celebrate the Scots 25 years as Manchester United manager. So far there has been no comment from anybody at Old Trafford.

If the Red Devils boss did resign current Real Madrid boss José Mourinho would be the favourite to take over at Old Trafford, although the former Chelsea manager still has four years remaining on his deal at the Bernabéu.

Other potential successors to Sir Alex Ferguson are Carlo Ancelotti, David Moyes, Fabio Capello and Josep Guardiola, the latter pair currently unemployed, although Guardiola has spoken about taking a year away from management following his successful time at Barcelona meaning the 41 year old may not be a realistic candidate for the United job.

When I lived in Greece I once observed a bunch of Irish Manchester United fans watching a pre-season friendly match final (labelled as some kind of cup) with a ludicrous amount of passion. I mean to a degree that is just fucking stupid. I hate Manchester United.

How drunk were they?

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £70 million transfer bid for Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo who won three Barclays Premier League titles during his six year spell at Old Trafford before moving to Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2009 for £80 million which is still the worlds largest transfer fee.

The 27 year old scored 84 times in 196 Barclays Premier League appearances whilst at Old Trafford and became a fan favourite as he matured into one of the worlds best players under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Portugal captain moved to Old Trafford in 2003 from Sporting Lisbon in a deal worth £12 million.

If United are to complete the deal for Ronaldo his £200,000 a week wages may prove a stumbling block after parting company with £70 million, although sources close to the player say the 27 year old would be willing to take a pay cut if he was to make a sensational return to Old Trafford after three successful seasons at the Bernabéu.

Ronaldo has netted on 112 occasions in just 101 La Liga outings since his move from United back in 2009 and was a pivotal part of José Mourinho's title winning side last season as he scored 46 goals as he played in all 38 of Madrid's La Liga fixtures.

Well I'd say if we slip out of the top four this season that'd be a bit alarming.

You've got me there, your increased exposure has really paid dividends in the transfer market.

I'd say it has when your best player wants to leave because of that competition.

Louis Saha has announced his retirement.

Always hated when we played Fulham with him in their side and then loved having him at Old Trafford.

If he hadn't suffered some shit injuries he could have been even better.

Aye, Milan can't even cough up about £5mill for Honda! Look's like they've conceded defeat. Hope Martinez steps up for him, we've been linked with him recently.

I honestly don't know where else Suarez can go apart from Arsenal...

If Real fail in getting Bale or Chelsea fail to get Rooney they'll probably go after him.

I still fear that they'll sell to a foreign bidder for £35-40m, just so he doesn't go to us. If that happens I can still see Liverpool fans playing it off as some huge victory.

What foreign club would want him or need him to overlook all his issues?

If Madrid are after Bale they won't bother with Suarez, Barca don't need him and neither do Bayern. It doesn't seem like many Italian clubs have £35-40m to spunk on one player and PSG have just brought in Cavani. Honestly I don't think many others want him and Arsenal may end up being the only club offering that kind of money.
