Nani will probably get a three game ban for that challenge on Arbeloa. If a goalkeeper comes out to punch a ball clear, misses and cleans up a players head don't you see the potential danger waiting to happen there??

The NRL out here have banned the shoulder charge over fears it can lead to dangerous situations involving the head and I certainly wouldn't want to be punched in the head by a goalkeeper either.

Interesting point on Twitter- if Nani's accidental, not-looking grazing of Arbeloa constitutes dangerous foul play, then what about the moment when Diego Lopez, whilst looking at Vidic, misses the ball and punishes him in the face whilst trying to defend a corner?

I was going to mention that when it happened, not the Nani incident, but the Diego Lopez punch.

Fair enough the keeper can come for the ball but if they miss and hit a player that should be a huge ban given a punch to the head could potentially have severe consequences... Just because it's a goalkeeper coming for a ball they shouldn't be allowed away with that.

You mean a tackle were De Jong could see Alonso and almost drove his foot through his chest compared to Nani watching the ball come over his shoulder, playing the ball and grazing Arbeloa??

Sorry but that's their job to be able to make those decisions and make the correct decision at that.

If I don't do the right thing at work I'm disciplined and they should be no different.

Rio is a right cunt expressing his frustration at the referee that's changed the whole course of that game.

Do you want to know why referees in football constantly do shit like this? Well because they're pretty much never held accountable for their fucking ridiculous decisions, be it offsides, be it red cards, missing handballs, giving or not giving penalties. That referee should never be allowed to referee a European game again, but we all know he will, probably the final at Wembley actually.

Don't think about the negative (starting again), think about that positive (you went 3 months without) and that's a fucking long time man. As you may or may not know my brother had leukemia when he was younger and my sister still took up smoking, been trying to help her quit... I know how hard it can be man because I've seen her struggling!!! Just think of the positives!!
