I've got Dennis Praet and Martin Odegaard to come back from loan so he may well depart, especially if Di Maria decides he wants to stay. He's on £225,000 a week Gotze so it's a lot of money for a rotation option.

That's the lineup when everyone is fit, but that's usually very rare.

I usually play either Gundogan or Mata in that deep lying playmaker role with Strootman that box to box midfielder. Illarramendi at defensive midfield if Shaw is injured or needs a rest and Blind slots in there no problems.

Januzaj and Bale occupy the flanks, mainly because they're both better than Rafinha and Angel Di Maria has under performed after throwing his toys out of the pram because he wanted to leave for Juventus, so he's seen a lot of the bench this season compared to his first two years at Old Trafford. Up front is usually James Wilson as he's developed a lot and is scoring. Injuries to Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney have saw them decline, the former probably going to leave on a free transfer in the summer and Rooney now really more a bit part player at 31.

Mario Gotze has been an absolute flop, the only real purchase I've made that's not contributed much.

Had €7.70 on them to win so that looks like it'll pocket me €15.40 and I've popped €4 on there being no more goals.

Hope that happens, be nice to turn €4 into €18.

EDIT: Need Levante to score, currently half time and 0-0 with Eibar. Haven't been able to watch the match because Fox Sports are still showing the Davis Cup match between Great Britain and USA

The perfect day just happened for us as Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Manchester City all dropped points. The league leaders were held 1-1 at Nottingham Forest and Liverpool conceded an injury time goal against Southampton at Anfield as that finished 1-1 as well. At St James Park Newcastle United and Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw which sees us close the gap on all the teams above us. We did that in emphatic fashion by thumping Arsenal at Old Trafford as James Wilson scored a first half hat-trick. The visitors got an early goal back through Karim Benzema to give them a glimmer of hope, but it didn't last long as Asier Illarramendi popped up to make it 4-1.

Much better start You should be able to get past Braga.

It's an okay start considering the board set us the minimum target of winning the Premier League.

Don't think that'll happen so going deep into the Europa League is important as is the FA Cup.

Sorry for the gap in posting lads I've just been a bit busy and hadn't played Football Manager at all really.

So in the last week or so things haven't exactly gone to as planned. I'd say we're out of the title race as Chelsea have been pretty much perfect and have won 14 of their opening 19 in the Premier League this season. They even knocked us out of the Capital One Cup in the third round as they came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 at Old Trafford.

I feel as if second place is still up for grabs, but it would take an almighty effort and a huge slice of luck for us to catch Jose Mourinho and his men at the summit of the Premier League table. Honestly I don't think even Liverpool will be able to catch them and they're only 7 points behind the current champions.

Things have gone much better for us in the Europa League as we comfortably topped our group. We went unbeaten and as you'll see from the fixtures we did really qualify from Group G in comfortable fashion. We'll play Portuguese side Braga in the next round and I'm confident we can progress over the two legs. Should we beat them either Russian side Rubin Kazan or Czech Republic side Viktoria Plzen await in the second knockout round.
