Let me know if you managed to sort it out

Works perfect, I have no idea what I'd done both the first time I tried the game back at released, and this morning, but something went amiss. Thanks again.

I suspect you've deleted the folder I mentioned above (or part of it), which contains the actual database itself, which could be why you're having these issues. Are you using the 20.4 database, i.e. the one with the most recent transfers?

That's correct, yes. Game updated this morning, and the files downloaded this morning.

I've only ever replaced the folders as per instructions. Never gone in and deleted any folders, certainly.

I've installed as fresh, and currently only have the editor data included in the download, my fixtures are as normal.
I'm gonna individually add each folder, and see how we come out.

Cheers for your help so far.

That's absolutely bizarre and definitely isn't supposed to happen. Never had anybody suffering with that issue and I've been doing this fix for over a decade now.

So, which database are you running when starting the new game? The most recent one? If yes, can I see screenshots of your db\2040\2040_fm folder within your Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2020\data\database folder (or equivalent)

I suspect you may installed wrongly something other than the editor data files.

I'm just in the process of re-installing the game and trying without the edt files etc. I've been using your files for many of those 10 years myself, and never had any issue. Just trying to eliminate things at the moment.

Does anyone else have an issue with their league fixtures only starting in January, despite choosing to start your game in July?

I had the same issue back when FM2020 was released and just ended up turning the game off. I've redownloaded all these files again today, and the same happens.

I have no other editor data installed aside from the ones included in this download.

I must say I haven't been a Steklo fan previously, but these teasers are looking fantastic.

Lots of people have released skins for the sake of it this past month.

Just one or two things from me:
  • Sidebar items could do with being a bit further away from the left hand side (padding in web design terms).
  • Not a fan of the badge in the bottom left corner.
Apart from that it looks wonderful.

Great list, gives you a good idea of a value a club will accept too.

And made just shy of £30million in selling Cabaye and Debuchy, plus about £80million for being in the Premier League, and made a profit in our most recent financial figures. There's enough for one more striker/defender in there, although if things continue to be this shite, it may have to be used in January.

If he was such a money grabber he'd have taken every penny (This season you only let go Debuchy for a decent fee). He allowed the management to reinvest it, albeit poorly from the looks of things so far. The rest of the money goes on running the club (I think I read somewhere, you have one of the largest wage budgets in the league).

I personally don't see why there's any grievance towards Ashley, apart from the fact he's not let that clown go yet.

I'm not suggesting a moral high ground. I'm suggesting rule changes. In line with other rule changes that FIFA have made to improve football, ie goalline technology, red cards for professional fouls, outlawing dangerous tackles.

This isn't about Newcastle. It's about football in general. Newcastle v Stoke was two poor quality sides - the game could have at least been entertaining.

You're saying last nights game wasn't entertaining, yet campaigning for the game to last even longer.

Job done for our boys last night, pressure was on even at this early stage and we did what we had to. We failed to kill the game off and had the usual nervy last 15 minutes. The suggestions that we heavily time wasted are a bit daft, the only player who time wastes in our side is keeper Begovic, he's probably the worst in the league for taking his time over goal kicks but did none of that last night. We picked up a few injuries during the game through some pretty hefty challenges by your guys so it wasn't like players were going down feigning the injury to run down the clock.

I did however genuinely feel sorry for Newcastle fans after seeing it first hand last night. People who follow me on twitter know that I don't like Newcastle fans that much (best supporters in the league/we sell out everywhere/general arrogance), but I really did feel and understand your pain. Players played out of position, mismatches on the pitch and general lack of ideas that ultimately are Pardews fault.

Old Panels UBG threw up an error similar to what was reported on page one.

Only thing I saw was Line 124 or 214 before it flashed off.

We're woeful, hopefully that equaliser, god knows how we got it, will give the lads a boost going into a massive game against Sunderland next time out.

We're like a horse that gets it's head in front but ultimately get's beaten. It's worrying.
