I'm using 7zip, but do you mean extracting all 14 files at the same time and the unzipping will automatically do it correctly? I just thought that since all 14 files contain the same 2 folder names ("faces" and “icons”) it would overwrite itself each time.

But I guess i'll give it a try doing it from scratch again - thank you.

Ah ok thank you - I'll try copying the images from the different folders and place them into the same folder. Does every config file from the different smaller folders also need to be copied?

So I installed the cutout megapack as per the instructions, and I removed the checkmark in the “Use caching to decrease page loading times” and added a check in the “Reload skin when confirming changes in preferences”.

Now when I load the game it takes approximately 10 minutes to boot up the game, which is obviously far from ideal, and I assume not normal. I've attached screenshots of the path of my folders and my settings, but I hope someone can help me with what is causing the extremely long loading time.

Any idea what I've done wrong?

Do take the time to read what was posted

The right location to put downloaded editor data files is: Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2019 > editor data

You are looking in the Steam installation folder; which is completely the wrong place

Ahhh d'oh. I was sure I didn't have the folder because I had it installed via Steam.

Thanks for the help though i'll try again after finding the right folder.

Move the files to your "editor data" folder. By default that folder is located at: Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2019 > editor data

Thanks for replying!

I don't have that folder :/

I have 1 folder called 'data'. Undfolding that shows several - 'database', 'game', 'sicomps', 'sifacegen' and 'simatch'.

I'm guessing it might be somewhere in the 'database' folder. Here I find the subfolder 'db' and from here subfolders called '1900', '1901', '1910' and '1930'. Each of these have subfolders called '1930_fm', 'dbc', 'edt' and 'inc'.

Any idea if it's one of these folders I need to place the downloaded one?

Hi,

I just downloaded the recent data update, but the installation instructions doesn't specify where to place the downloaded folder when using Steam.

I tried placing it under Steam/SteamApps/Common/Football Manager 2019 but it didn't work when I started a new game.

Any help?
