I don't understand how it's hard to not have a conversation you don't want to have. Can't you talk about subjects which are tedious? I've spent 8-10 hours on skype with my current female companion on multiple occaisions without getting bored. If you're getting sick of someone you're meant to have a crush on after an hour than maybe you're kidding yourself.

That game is awesome.

It is awesome. I haven't used a weapon other than the bow apart from before I got it and main story missions where you don't have a choice. So much fun hiding in a bush and sniping the whole compound with a bow.
It seems kind of like Skyrim only less tedious and with guns and drugs.

Hmm.
So, my girlfriend says to me that, since she's out of work at the minute, we should make each other presents. I agreed and now I'm trying to figure out what to do. I don't have any notable creative talent, I'm a bassist but I haven't been in a band for like 3 years and have practiced much since then and I'm shit at writing songs anyway. I like drawing but I'm crap at it. I have a few ideas floating around in my head but can anyone think of something good I've overlooked?

I just found out Farcry 3 has a bow in it so I bought it. I'm going to try going through the game just using the bow, the flare gun and melee weapons. It probably won't work but you have to make your own challenges in life.

Any way I look at that whole flag issue, it just looks like an act of provokation. They knew taking down the union flag would piss off loyalists so they did it excepting them to kick off. Now they can point the finger and say "look how immature they're being" but ignoring the fact that if the shoe was on the other foot, if there was a tricolour there which had been taken down, there would've been a bomb scare and a dead policeman by now.

First of all, if you're at work in a hospital and you're just a random worker and you happen to be a hospital used by the royal family and you have a member of the royal family in, it makes sense that the Queen might call. She wouldn't, but it's not like she's calling up a letting agency or something. So, if you pick up the call, knowing all that, and someone who sounds vaguely like they might be the Queen calls saying they're the Queen, are you going to go "fuck off, no you aren't". No, you're going to pass the buck to someone more important.

Second of all, here's the link to the BBC article on her death. Find where it says she killed herself. Or where someone relevant suspects that she killed herself. Or any mention of suicide at all.

What I'd like to see is like regional mini-tournaments and then like the final stages somewhere else. It would mean that more people could see the games, less empty seats for the less fashionable games and, if you wanted to host the final tournament, you could get away with just having 4 stadia.
I really don't see how this is a bad idea at all.

Maybe. It just seems that people cherry pick a lot of these chants to get offended by. Either have a zero tolerance policy on offensive chants or shut the fuck up.

I know you can. I just don't want to. Vodafone PAYG give you a ridiculous amount of free stuff when you top up. I can pretty much get away with topping up £15-20 every 2 months. Or I could get a contract phone and pay at least double that. Doesn't seem to be much point.
Also, I don't think your idea of cheap and cheerful is the same as mine.

Hmm. So in two weeks in a row, a team is investigating their fans for anti-semitic chants. People are being questioned over racist chants. Good.
Still can't remember the last game I went to which didn't involve homophobic chants.

See, when they sound like they sound alright. But then they that whole look how crazy we are and how edgy our music is for indie cred thing and I can't take it seriously. When they go all shouty it sounds very fake to me, It doesn't feel like genuine emotion.
But that's obviously subjective so whatever.

So. Have any of you heard that one song with the super weird video where they sneak into a swimming pool and it's some vague metaphor for sex? This one, in fact.

I've seen that like three times since it's come out from people being like "dude check out this video". But I listened to it today and I don't think I realised how fucking good that song is.

I know, but people are still just going to right it off because it's called myspace. I don't doubt that they could find a gap a market, but I do doubht that people will want to buy into myspace as a brand again.

The thing which much suck for MySpace is they have all these people who used to use it, all those bands too with song and video uploads and I'd be suprised if many of them ever deleted their account. So they've got all this crap up there which they've got to keep on their server which noone cares about. I also don't really see how it's salvagable.
